I had tried to restore the yellowed, hazy headlights on my 957 Cayenne a number of times, but always struggled because the inside of the lenses had become hazy over time. That's where SW Lights came in - I saw lots of positive comments about their rebuild service on Rennlist, researched them, and then reached out to Sean with a bunch of questions in hopes that they'd be able to get the headlights restored to like-new condition. After answering several rounds of lots of questions from me, and agreeing to restore the headlights to stock appearance rather than painting the trim, Sean got me to the point where I was comfortable shipping my headlights across the country to have SW Lights rebuild them. Sean made me aware that there were other projects in his queue ahead of mine, and gave me a solid estimate on how long it'd take to get to mine. I held onto my lights until he was ready to work on them, but once he gave me the go ahead to ship them, he turned them around super quick, and I had my fully restored, like-new headlights back in just over a week. I was skeptical at first, but the lights turned out fantastic, and look brand new. I'm really glad I went with the restoration service rather than trying to find used replacement lights, or buying new ones for 6x the price. The lights look great, the lighting is noticeably brighter now that the haze on the inside of the lights is gone, and I can tell that SW Lights put a lot of care into the restoration. Sean even took the time to give me a call about some follow up questions I had - he was really knowledgeable, and I could tell he was truly passionate about what he does. Overall, super happy with the service, and very impressed with the end result. I'd highly recommend SW Lights to anyone looking to have their lights restored, especially as an alternative to buying new lights. Great job guys, thank you! read more

Had SW rebuild my faded and not so bright 2008 Cayenne GTS bi-xenon headlights and they came out fantastic. The black paint matches my trim, new bulbs are 100% better visibility at night and they look super sharp. The chrome in the lights looks brand new. Very pleased with the price and fast turn around. These guys are excellent. Bought a used 2022 BMW z4 once the car got to LA, I noticed condensation was building up in the front passenger light. After extensive research I came across Sean . Great guy and very professional. I ordered replacement lens from EBay from Europe . Once it got here Sean replaced the front lens just like factory. Saved me thousands, otherwise I would had to buy a new light, which with programming was almost 5k. read more

Brennan Gebert found me on a Facebook forum where I posted about water in my headlights. He responded and sent a PM where we discussed another problem caused by poor design of my steel bumper. The grill surround blocks part of my high-beam headlights. He investigated and showed me how a SW Lights projector with both high and low beam in the outer (original low beam) location would solve that problem. Also, because the color temperature of my original low and high beams were different (the low beam being a LED) colors, he suggested a different bulb in the original high-beam location. He gave me an estimate and an expected 7-days to deliver... and bang! the lights arrived yesterday at my home in the states. I'm still in Baja; but hope to get back to the states in time to return to Mexico for the next Baja race. Excellent advice, excellent service. Can hardly wait to get them installed and return to Baja Mexico. Thank you Brennan. read more

Sean and his team absolutely NAILED an installation of strobes and a PA system in vehicle. Their work is I have to say probably the best custom work ive had done by an electronics installer. I own a 2025 GMC Sierra 3500 that needed strobes in the grill, rear license plate, and a PA system installed inside the grill. All Whelen electronics. They built a custom bracket as one didnt exist for this vehicle, 3D printed strobe brackets that were lightyears better than the universal brackets, and his wiring is some of the cleanest and organized work ive seen. Their attention detail and care of their work is exactly what you look for and is hard to find these days. Thanks Sean and your team, you guys did an absolutely killer job. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAM ARTIST. Dishonesty at every step of the process. Sean and SW Lights has been the most dishonest experience I have ever had the displeasure to do business with. He has stolen $2,500 from me and never delivered working lights as promised. It has taken just under TWO YEARS to get to this point or I would reverse the charges. It was dumb of me to pay in advance - that part is on me for being too trusting. I thought I was helping a small business. After a year and a half, he finally shipped broken lights to me. His 25th set of excuses was that the post office must have damaged them. He submitted a claim to the postal service and he got money. I sent the lights back and after another 6 months of excuses for what he called a five minute fix, he sent back lights that did not work. I was kind, patient, generous, encouraging and . . . foolish. Do NOT give this company your money. It is a total scam. There are plenty of other places you can go instead for your headlight needs. This company is one you need to steer clear of. read more

Sean at SW lights is a scam artist; February 9, 2025 full pay submitted through PayPal to SW lights over $2,300.00. On multiple occasions I texted Sean requesting an update on the delivery because Sean stated the lead time was 3 to 4 weeks...When I contacted Sean he had a. grand excuse " Custom products takes time thank you for your patience" so I decided to allow Sean at SW lights additional time to fulfill his promise a few more weeks extension. Now it's been 9 weeks going on ten weeks and Sean no longer answers my text messages or send updates per his previous text messages.....Customer, please don't do business with the company for the obvious reasons "you will be disappointed" small business fraud is real. read more

I worked with Sean on a sale, and his professionalism and willingness to help was outstanding.

Found this place on a Tesla forum. Older Tesla Model S's have a defect which cause the daytime running light led's to burn out. I had a few replaced under warranty, and of course just a few hundred miles outside of warranty one of them failed. SW to the rescue! In my case, they saved me over $1000 by sourcing a used headlight and installing it. That's not actually what they're known for per se since they do custom lighting but it was perfect for what I needed. That said, if this happens again and I want to keep the car longer I'll probably go with their custom solution because that will actually last. The custom solution would give me color changing lights, I'm too boring to actually use that but critically it would have a color similar to OEM (sort of like installing Phillips Hue). Can't say enough nice things about the service. They were 10 min from my house but I would have driven at least an hour still because they saved me so much money. read more

I sent these guys my original headlights off my GT350, and I'll be honest they were in bad shape. The previous owner did some custom work (more like trash work), so when I got them my DRLs didn't even work. Ran into these at an event, and he sold me on his product/custom work. So I sent him these horrible headlights. And he sent them back to me with a makeover like I've never seen. The housing, etc, all looked brand new. And let's not even talk about the badas$ Cobra emblem itched into the bulb housing. If you wanna get yourself some super fancy headlights. I'd highly recommend the SW Lights team. read more

I was so pleased when I showed up with the new lights installed plus they did some little extras just to make it all complete. In November 2020, I called in to purchase a set of custom lights. I spoke to sean who seemed to be very knowledgeable and is super passionate about his business. I trusted him and his company 100 percent to retrofit some headlights. We discussed the build for over an hour we had chosen to do every single option we could for my 2012 mustang. He said give me 2 weeks to a month and these lights will be on their way! I was very excited and super confident in what was to come. Right around the month point I shot Sean a text for an update and I heard nothing for a week. So I started to worry. $1500 spent and haven't heard a peep since I ordered them. After a few attempts Finally I get ahold of him and he says there has been a delay with my color matched shrouds. This excuse goes on for a month or so. I was patient and understanding throughout this process, but was getting a bit frustrated with the lack of communication. I give it some time and I decide to call in for an update, from the first attempt, 2 and a half weeks go by, I have called, left VM emailed and texted every single day with no response whatsoever and I feel like I have been scammed. I I dispute my payment with PayPal and they were going to return my money. That's when I finally hear from Sean.. He apologizes and says hey, we cant finish the build on the lights until you cancel the dispute, we will have your lights done in a few weeks if you just cancel the dispute.. I reluctantly cancel the dispute which was a huge mistake. Of course he was late on sending out the lights but I finally got them. And immediately I noticed the sealant was horrible, the protective film was gummed up and looked awful.. but I just needed to have them installed at this point. I have a shop near me that specializes in lighting installs, and they started the job. At the end of the day I get a call from the manager of the shop and he was very concerned. The led strips did not work, at first they were flickering uncontrollably and then they went out completely. Luckily the demon eyes and hid bulbs worked, so I just gave seans number to the shop to figure out what needs to be done to fix them. At this point I am $800 into install of these lights that halfway work, but it is what it is, they light up the road..well a week goes by and one of the hids is out, one week later now the other hid is out as well as both demon eyes. 2 weeks and the headlights quit working entirely. I called Sean and asked to just refund me at this point and I will send everything back and he said his business would close if he offered refunds.. I can whole heartedly say I have never been screwed over on this magnitude in my life. Thanks for taking advantage of me Sean. Really good look for your business. read more
