Best eye appointment ever! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. My husband and I were the only patients in the building during our appointments and actually had a lot of fun picking our new frames. All the employees pitched in with suggestions and gave opinions on which ones they thought suited us best. Dr. Roy was very personable and really put us at ease during our exams. Our insurance plan is somewhat unique and I really appreciated that they had already researched everything and understood the coverage. In the past, at other places we've gone, that hasn't been the case and I've had to argue to get the items I'm covered for billed to the insurance. None of that here! Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, their COVID precautions were outstanding and we felt very safe during our visit. Great experience. The staff at this location has gone above and beyond my expectations for eye care!!! Not only do they care about you as a patient but as a person as well. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by all of the staff members at once, it was quite pleasant! Their doctor, Dr. Roula is very personable and very good at what she does! I have NEVER seen this clear in my LIFE!! I am recommending all of my friends and family to come here. Even when I had a minor mishap and I decided to change my frame, they were very happy to help me! I have to say I was given mixed reviews from several people about SVS in Warren. Although, when I arrived, I was greeted by the woman at the desk, asked who I was, was friendly, had me sign some papers, said the doctor would be with me shortly and feel free to look at frames. Doctor came out 2 minutes later, called me back, very nice, very professional, answered all my questions. After exam, 2 associates offered to help me pick out frames, both were very nice and very helpful. I have to say, all and all it was a very good experience and I told my sister to go there! She was skeptical because people at her work told her that the associates were rude and not helpful, but I did not find that to be the case! The staff and doctor was super friendly during my visit and when I went to pick up my glasses. Everything was explained to me well, what was covered with and without my insurance; they helped me pick out a pair of glasses that looked good on me and fil my look. Making an appointment was convenient- I did it online, I filled out my paperwork online. Everything worked out great! I can tell you- I have a hard time finding places I like- generally the doctors breath smells and they're right in your face, the doctor has no personality or the sales people are pushy and this was not the case at SVS. Well its very obvious that the woman SM who wrote such a horrible review is just a cronic complainer and so misserable that she feels the needs to slander the name of one of the most kind and helpful Opticians at the Warren store. It is so obvious that SM is not a very nice person when she feels its ok to slander someones name in a complaint. SM is propbably "that person" who is never happy with service anywhere ! Its very funny that this cronic complainer needs to put in her COMPLAINT that she never COMPLAINS ! LOL !!! . I visited the Warren, MI location back in November 2017 for my first pair of progressive lenses. The exam went well and the staff helped my pick out a great pair of glasses. After picking them up, I had difficulty seeing the computer at work. I returned to the store where they reexamined my eyes and glasses and sent them back for a few adjustments. Unfortunately, this happened a 2nd time, as well. All the while, the staff was very pleasant and worked very hard to make sure that I was happy with my glasses. It's been a couple of weeks now and I'm adjusting well to the progressive lenses. The adjustments made have been great. I would highly recommend this location to all my family and friends. My wife and I came in with a prescription from our eye doctor. The staff were helpful, greeting us at the door, where we were asked to sanitize our hands. After that, we were allowed to shop the frames while we waited for a staff member to become available. We had just finished selecting frames from which to choose and sat down to wait when we were called, so they moved us through timely without making us feel rushed. They offered some suggestions, but did not engage in a high pressure upsale. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, and accepted us as walkins without an appointment, which a closer location would not do. I have never received such personalized attention from a vision store. The woman who helped me when I walked in to schedule an appointment remembered me every time I walked through the door. I loved the young gentleman working ( Calvin I believe is his name). He was honest and personable. He assisted in helping me pick out the perfect frames. I wanted to give him kudos for helping me look at frames that were fit for me and being honest. He didn't try to upsell me and offer frames that were more expensive. When I came in to pick up my frames a few days later, he remembered me and was excited to assist me with fitting. I will always go to this store for now on. read more

Very informational and complete in their explanations regarding any questions that I asked. The exam went very fast, the doctor answered all of my questions. They even had contacts for me to wear home! That might not seem like much, but I haven't been able to see in properly in years. I actually cried on the way home because I didn't need to squint anymore. The staff explained all of the charges to me, what insurance covers, what it doesn't, etc. I was able to do a payment plan, so I could order my glasses + a year's supply of contacts up front. I appreciate that everyone was wearing masks. There was hand sanitizer at the door and standard COVID19 screening questions asked. I could see the staff sanitizing items. As far as regular things- the staff were awesome. They were on time with starting my appointment and the appointment was quick and smooth. I Loved frombthe time I got my reminder call from Kai till I walked in the location. They were very inviting and fun. Kai was amazing she had me laughing the entire time then Keisha was super amazing she was funny,professional and very knowledgeable about the products. I have been following Theoni around for 8 years. I drive past at least 6 SVS on my way to be taken care of by her. Her professionialism, knowledge and customer care are outstanding. My husband and I went in yesterday. Walked in staff was friendly and nice. Helped immediately. Husband goes back comes out with eyes dilated. I go in come out start looking at glasses. Doctor asks me for are health insurance card. She's on her cell phone calling retinal specialist gets my husband an appointment for same day. Hes going in for surgery. I cannot thank her enough. My experience was good at SVS (12 and Mound). The exam was fast and efficient. A gentleman helped me pick out my glasses. He was SUPER helpful and honest. I appreciated his assistance greatly. It was my first time going here and I've always been cautious of chain eye doctors. This location put all those concerns to rest. They met all my expectations and exceeded them.
