I recently visited the Southfield location for the first time, and--just like every other SVS I've been to--they did not disappoint. Staff was very warm and friendly and professional. Care was taken in sanitizing the glasses before returning them to the wall to be tried on again. The eye doctor they have working there is also very nice and very thorough, professional and gets you the absolute best pair of lenses. The frames are reasonable and the quality of glasses are good. My very first eye examine was in 2013 from America's Best, the service and quality of glasses was subpar and extremely over priced, went to SVS Vision for my next eye examine and haven't looked back since. The staff at SVS on Southfield Rd. was extremely friendly upon me entering the building. The doctor was very easy to talk to and he was great at explaining things to me. Lastly, once it came to me finding my eye ware, LaShae was awesome at helping me find , not 1 but 2, pairs of eyeglasses that I absolutely love and even my children were surprised at how good the glasses looked on me. The entire staff and the service was "Amazing!" I would highly recommend this location. I haven't gotten glasses in 10 years, needed a new eye exam and glasses as soon as possible to see the screen at Church to sing words in the choir on Sundays since my lens fell out and was lost out of my old glasses. Well SVS Vision of Southfield took me in as a walk-in and within an hour, I had my insurance verified, an exam, picked out an frame and ordered my new glasses with the sunglasses clip on it! I actually live closer to another SVS store, but I go to this one because the employees are mlm or friendly and exhibit better expertise. I have had frames straightened out here that employees at another store were unable to. I love that they always try to find the best price for me with discounts, specials and insurance combinations. An employee actually went online to show me where I could purchase replacement frames that they no longer carried. I highly recommend this SVS! read more

I loved the atmosphere and the cleanliness measures taken to keep us all safe! The office was clean and had hand sanitizer stations set up around the office. The doctor helped me understand the issues concerning my vision and was knowledgeable. He took safety measures while performing the exam. The reason I bought my glasses here is because I was treated so well last year! Dr. Lee was great and made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. When it was time to choose a frame design I was assisted by Carmen who remembered me from the glasses I chose last year. I have been going here for a number of years now. The staff are helpful and fun. The Optometrist discovered a serious eye condition that has now been rectified. With my most recent pair of glasses, I was switched to bifocals by the Optometrist, but it didn't work for me after all. There was no charge to correct the lenses to trifocals and they work fantastic. I plan to continue using SVS on Southfield Road. read more

I've been to other SVS, there's at least 2 others closer to me but I love this one for the service. The dr was fast friendly and answered all my questions and concerns. My daughter gotten her necklace stuck in her zipper the guy employee I don't remember his name but he jumped right in to help get her unstuck without breaking her zipper or necklace. The SVS Southfield team is extremely helpful and kind. They were able to process my claim with my vision insurance despite me not having access to my newer insurance with me upon arrival. So far so good. Just meeting some of the staff for the first time, and everyone seemed very pleasant and patient. The front desk staff were all helpful, from greetings to insurance explanations. The doctor was very thorough in testing and easy to talk to. Covid safety was all considered too of course. read more
