Man this place was amazing! I have never had an eye exam before and noticed I was having blurry vision and thought it was time to make an eye appointment. so based on reviews I called up svs, and asked how much an appointment was, because I don't have optical insurance the lady I spoke with on the phone told me about a Groupon deal they had going to save me money. 9$ more the the cost of an eye exam and I would get the exam free plus $200 worth of frames and lenses! They saved me so much money, had they not told me I probably would have not gotten glasses. But they were great, got me in right away, didn't pressure me to buy any type of frames that were pricey. The appointment was fast and the doctor was very nice and professional. I do wish he would have explained more about my vision issues, but when I go to pick up my glasses I'm sure they would have no issue answering questions the staff was great. I would definitely suggest this place! It's a bit pricey but any place is really, but keep an eye open for those Groupon deals, it saves you so much! read more

I have been out to this location twice now. Prior to visiting here, I visited their Flint store several times. When I got sick, the flint store refused to just reschedule the appointment and told me I had to wait 2 weeks and then I could call and they would "fit me in". When I called, they told me 3 months to be seen now (my first appointment was abut 3 months out to begin with). So I called this location. The staff was wonderful. They were able to get me in much sooner. The entire process was comfortable and overall they did very well. Of course, like every store, they try to upsell.. But when you tell them that you are just doing what you can with the insurance, they accept that and complete the transaction as requested. I made a second visit yesterday, just for a second pair of glasses because I needed to use my insurance before I change. This is a great place to get your eye exam and get glasses, it's a good location and a very clean store with a lot of eye wear to choose from. But the best thing about this SVS store is the gentleman that helped us select and fit my new glasses.His name is Delaeno, I hope I spelled his name correctly. He really knows what he is doing, I got an education on eyewear from how they're made to how they will last. He spent a lot of time with me and gave me great and honest advice, I am so happy and excited about the eyewear I selected! And on top of all that he is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet! My wife had met him before me, she stopped in the store one day to get here glasses adjusted and she couldn't stop talking about what a nice guy Delaeno is and how well he adjusted the fit of her glasses! Everyone was so kind and professional from the moment I walked through the door. Carol was fantastic. She helped me choose 2 frames that look great on me (I always get a back up pair) She was patient, friendly, and humorous. I felt as if I was was working with a friend. I have already recommended SVS to 3 people and I will tell everyone of my great experience. I can see perfectly out of my new glasses too! My mom had just gotten glasses from another well known vision center whose name I won't say, (starts with a P), and I've taken her back THREE times to adjust the prescription and the fit. They are all very helpful n understanding, I had a hard time with my previous glasses n couldn't see crap n had don't setting on my phone set at large so I could see, when I got my new ones I had to take it back to the default setting, that there should tell u how off my script was.. the Dr found that the script I had was super way off, the staff member helped my pick out the frames, ie: letting me know how frames looked n helped pick out the best ones , n they were perfect, even my sunglasses were perfect.. I was recommended this place by my mother in law and I was not disappointed!! I came in wanting to learn about my options as far as contacts went, the Dr. was very quick and straight to the point but the ladies on the floor were amazing in helping me choosing two pairs of glasses that looked good on me. They also helped me with putting my contacts in and taking them out and were very encouraging. The woman I was working with even broke down different options as far as pricing and ended up finding me a rebate to do which was extremely nice!! 10/10 recommend my experience was amazing and can't wait to see them next year! read more

Very friendly. Very helpful. I've been wearing glasses for 35 years and this is the first time it's been explained to me what type of frames I should look for with my lenses and why. Also, I came here after going somewhere else first. I left the other place because I could tell they were really annoyed with me trying on more than a few pairs of glasses since they all have to be sanitized. At SVS they were very encouraging for me to look at and try on as many as necessary until I was very happy with my final selection. I have been going to SVS Vision in Davison since 2017-2018. Dr. Knight is so kind and pleasant. I have never had any issues with my prescription. He always has great suggestions for products, such as contacts and eye drops. I used to hate contacts. Turns out, I was not wearing ones that were right for me. Their office is clean, even before the extra precautions due to Covid. All the staff are welcoming, and helpful. Finding new frames can be overwhelming, but the staff make you feel like you're out shopping with your friends. They have great input, and made picking the right pair less stressful. read more

I called on Monday to schedule an appointment; they got me in on Tuesday, the very next day. The eye exam was quick and easy, no more dreaded puff of air to the eyeball. The examiner was prompt and kind. The woman that helped me pick out my frames was very helpful and I really appreciated her honesty. Her honesty and her energy definitely made choosing glasses "fun". First time patient - They got me right in during a busy time for an urgent matter. Everyone was friendly, flexible, and spent as much time as I needed during each part of my visit even though I was a work-in appointment. They were willing to work with me on payment, services, pick-up, etc. Zero wait time and thorough cleaning procedures being practiced by all staff members during my entire visit. Very happy that they got to me shortly after I was in for my appointment! I was with Marie the most and she was wonderful! She helped rock my baby in his car seat when he was getting fussy and I needed to finish the eye exam which I truly appreciate! she was super sweet, helpful when I had to pick my glasses, and very easy to talk to! Staff at this location are super friendly and the Doctor was very informative of my vision status but in a way that I can understand. I shared laughs with them while choosing my package and my associate really cared about finding me all the deals. The selection was fantastic and I had only had to try on 2 pair before deciding!
