I found myself in the position of having to sell an apartment my husband and I owned in Rossmoor Walnut Creek. It's an adult Senior Living Community and the HOA has many, many, many, guidelines and procedures that need to be followed. Somebody really has to know their stuff to effectively sell a home for the maximum profit. Jane did an amazing job. I was so glad to be reunited with her after not seeing her for a few years. It was like time had stood still. I enjoyed talking to her on the phone about the deal as much as just life. Jane is such a delightful person and can be trusted completely. I am not used to NOT micromanaging an agent. I found myself never needing to micromanage Jane. She took care of everything most of the time before I even had the chance to ask her. This is not usual. I've worked with agents in San Francisco and in Silicon Valley and 90% of them are lazy, "leave money on the table" and or really DO NOT care about what is their clients best interest. They want everything to be easy. Jane is a "go-getter" and totally proactive. Did a great job! She handled everything from getting the painter and electrician to do work on the unit, to pushing it along in the title company once it was in escrow. In fact, we fell out of escrow on the last day buyer had to remove contingencies but Jane kept showing the property and insisted it remains active status until contingencies were lifted. The same day it fell through, we got an even better, all cash, no contingencies offer. Whew, that was a close one! Nobody wants to stay on the MLS for a long time. When you fall out of escrow it looks bad, even when it is not your fault and it happens all the time. But, we didn't have to worry because she had a list of interested parties. The unit sold to the first person on that list. She is good at staying on top of the Title company. Handled our 1031 on her end. I look forward to any and all reasons why our paths would cross again. In fact, I will miss having the excuse to call her and have wonderful, engaging conversations. I would highly recommend her for any real estate needs one has!
