I worked with Bobbi on the sale of my single family home in San Francisco (West Portal / Sherwood Forest). Bobbi is a great agent as she is both analytical and very good with people. I moved out prior to listing and Bobbi managed everything for us from the painting and staging through the open houses. We ended up getting multiple offers and Bobbi made the closing process smooth and efficient. I definitely recommend Bobbi as a seller agent - I trusted her with the sale of our largest asset and she delivered! read more

Bobbi and Suhl were fantastic to work with, they helped us sell our house in San Francisco. They were very low pressure and didn't push us to do more than we had to in preparing our house, and also helped us find good vendors for the work on our house. Most of all, they got us a great stager who made our house look fantastic, and got a great price for it, above what we expected. They truly went above and beyond to make our home sale a big success, and were wonderful to work with. We highly recommend them! read more

Bobbi Levenson - Compass - Our living room staged - Real Estate Agents Near Me - San Francisco, California

Bobbi was a wonderful real estate agent for us. We bought a single family home in the midst of COVID and Bobbi was incredibly patient in helping us learn about the SF real estate market, as well, as what we needed and wanted in a home. I appreciated the thorough follow through and attentiveness that she brought to our home buying process. Bobbi also helped guide us with ideas, connections and insight as we evaluated various home options for our needs. Highly recommend Bobbi and her team for any real estate needs! read more

Bobbi and her real estate partner Suhl are a wonderful tag-team and I trusted them both in selling my condo this year. They walked me through each step, took care of city-related paperwork and offered me terrific advice on what to do next. As others here have echoed, they are both super-responsive and patient. They know the San Francisco market inside and out, and their knowledge of the process is flawless. I don't often post reviews but will happily do so for Suhl and Bobbi. They will be on your side. read more

Buying a home in the Bay Area is challenging. Finding the right agent or team of agents to navigate the process is a critical resource. Why Bobbi Works +'s: + Performance and Experience. We got our house without feeling like we lost everything. In fact we almost never bid on the home because we didn't think we had a shot but Bobbi's experience taught me that when the impossible seems impossible--well it can actually be possible and affordable. + Available. I started to know Bobbi when she managed our house search while Suhl Chin (see separate review) was out of town. She was proactive and reached out to us. And when we happened to see our star home she was available whenever I texted or called her to discuss my feelings on both a personal and professional level. Buying a home can be highly stressful so needing my agent was critical in a time sensitive process. + Pro-Client. Of course any agent should be pro-client but in my experience of buying/selling multiple homes, the agents don't necessarily act in your best interest. Bobbi made me feel like she was always on my side. When I told her my concerns on an offer she completely listened and stood by me. She didn't coach me to raise my offer. And she didn't try to deny what my gut was telling me. She shot straight and was completely pro-me or pro-client. + Skilled. Bobbi handled our offer and counteroffers timely. She also had to deal with a mortgage broker who nearly lost our deal. Without her during the tense back and forth of securing our dream home, I may have lost the chance on a great home. Finding the right agent is not easy and we all have different styles. Bobbi and Suhl are definitely worth an opportunity to meet to ensure you get the home you want. read more

Bobbi is amazing. She helped me through the whole process of purchasing my first place. She helped me find a great lender and made closing totally pain free. We made offers on 2 places and got the 2nd. (The first went for way over the asking price and our bid) For the second place we had an interesting situation where she was able to negotiate the price down from a high asking price. I highly recommend her. read more

Purchasing my first home was a great learning experience, and Bobbi made it as easy as possible. She was very kind and friendly right from the start, and I knew I was in good hands as soon as we met. She made sure I was kept up to date and understood every step of the way, and was very helpful even after closing. Having Bobbi's knowledge and connections working for me was crucial in landing this house, and I'd highly recommend her to anyone I know looking to purchase a house in this crazy Bay Area market. read more

I can't say enough good things about working with Bobbi and Suhl. When my husband and I decided to put our house on the market we struggled to find real estate agents who were a good fit for our needs. There was a sense of pressure and stress from many of the people that we initially considered. We also felt that some of them did not take the time to understand our needs and desires in this process (which revolved as much around finding people who we felt would contribute to the neighborhood and the city in a way we felt good about rather than solely who brought the most money to the table. As long term SF people finally leaving this was really important to us.) Bobbi and Suhl got it and then some. They were personable, supportive and warm in a low key and authentic seeming way and seemed to really listen to us. (For one, they did not pressure us to cut down a beautiful centuries old tree in our yard just so that the view of sales force tower is even clearer unlike others we spoke with. This was really important to us!) This move took place during a stressful and very busy time in our lives. I cannot stress enough my appreciation that rather than adding to the stress and busyness, Bobbi and Suhl took a lot off our hands. They offered to oversee and take care of renovations and staging once we had moved out in a calm, efficient way that was extremely helpful for us during a challenging time. This supportive approach in and of itself was very valuable for us. Add to that the fact that they did a phenomenal job. We could hardly believe the 'after' photos of our house. What a transformation! It was absolutely gorgeous. All of their suggestions in preparing the house ended up to be spot on. Our house was on the market for less than a week. We had close to ten offers after a handle of days and closed in just a little over a month. We feel great about the people who we chose for the house (and as a cherry on top we sold for a higher amount than we imagined we would.) We chose to work with Bobbi and Suhl because of their warm, low pressure approach. In the end we also discovered that they are complete pros. I can't recommend them enough. read more

Bobbi is a five star agent all around and is the agent you want by your side navigating this complicated market. We were first time buyers and Bobbi stuck with us through a 10-month search for a property and numerous offers, educating us along the way so that when we finally landed a property we felt fully prepared and equipped to put our best offer forward and navigate the process. She is also a fantastic resource for referrals to various other professionals and has an extensive network in San Francisco that makes dealing with other agents far more seamless. What I've learned during my search is that the right realtor can get information that others can't, whether it's about the competition for a property, understanding comps in the area, or even historical San Francisco building and remodeling practices. I highly recommend working with Bobbi to buy (or sell) in San Francisco. read more

Bobbi is nothing short of awesome. We have lived in our current rental for over a decade and are first time homeowners. The San Francisco market is intimidating and the process can feel overwhelming. Bobbi brought extensive experience, many real estate world relationships, a gift at establishing new connections, and an invaluable sense of humor and calm to the process. Bobbi was able to negotiate with sellers, our other bids were 2nd, and she helped us with a successful preemptive offer. She didn't rush us, and we were shopping for entry-level properties in sf. She gave us the time, information, and gentle strategic nudging we needed to find a home we are very happy to own. Bobbi is a gem!!! read more

Bobbi was invaluable in helping me find my new home! As a first time buyer in California, and in this tricky San Francisco market, she helped me understand the process, listened to what I wanted, made sure what she presented was in my budget, and presented me with some great places to see. She went in person with me as well and was really vocal when a place wasn't good enough for me! I felt she had my back. She was always available during the process and on top of all the details, financing, contingencies, inspection, escrow, etc.... Once I found a place I loved, in a great Noe Valley location, she pushed me to act quickly. Her help with understanding what it takes to get a place in SF helped me get my offer in right away so it was accepted before any other higher offers came in. Thanks for all your help! read more

Bobbi Levenson did an awesome job of guiding and helping my daughter Malavika buy her first home in the San Francisco area. She paid close attention to the specific needs of Malavika and helped her find and buy a place that met all of her requirements. She is patient, mellow, easy to work with and very knowledgeable of what is needed to close on the purchase of a property in San Francisco - especially a property that was being occupied by a tenant. I live in San Diego and Bobbi kept me in the loop during the entire hunt, identify and purchase process. She made sure that all of the pieces needed to close the deal and close escrow were in place on the correct dates. She has a team of people she works with who work well with her. Thank u Bobbi for an awesome job. read more

My wife and I first met Bobbi and Suhl about three years before they helped us buy our first home, and we're glad we did! We never felt pressured by them at all, but they were always available to answer questions, and when we were finally ready to get serious about hunting, we really appreciated their help and guidance throughout the entire process. Between the two of them, they were always quick to respond, had time for our smallest and biggest questions and helped us navigate a crazy SF market with level heads. Not to mention they were always super friendly and genuine with us. They both live in the City and have plenty of experience, local insights and contacts. We would definitely work with them again, and have recommended them to other friends who are looking! read more

The term "Legendary" should never be used loosely. But, I feel that this is an appropriate way to describe Bobbi Levenson and her incredible service that she provided to us when buying our first home. We had the great luck to be referred to Bobbi by a close friend and former colleague. Bobbi educated us as first-time home buyers to the intricacies of SF real estate. We were afraid of an overwhelming experience but Bobbi worked very hard to settle our nerves. She was patient and caring related to our home buying needs as a family with young children and landlord complications. She made us feel like we were her top priority and would always make herself available to update us at a moment's notice. Our kids became so familiar with Bobbi's phone calls and open house showings that they would remember the various homes we visited and term them "Bobbi's House" or say, "that's Bobbi's Blue House" every time we drove past one. Along the way, numerous agents would comment that they knew we were represented by a great real estate broker and to always pass on their best regards. She did a fabulous job for us during a complicated period of small real estate inventory, with peaking demand and climbing interest rates. She was able to provide referrals that helped immensly during the moving and closing process. Bobbi was quick to assist with the final hiccups as our new house came to closing. She was able to provide great references for various Tradespeople to assist as our move began. We are so happy to be in our first home and know that we are forever indebted to Bobbi for her hard work. We have already given Bobbi a small list of other SF properties she will represent us for when we win that big lottery (fingers crossed, someday soon...). We wholeheartedly recommend Bobbi and her services to any home buyer. read more

I met Bobbi and her business partner Suhl at the Zephyr office in Noe in March of 2017. They both provided fantastic guidance and listened intently to understand what I was looking for from a price, location, and lifestyle perspective. That day, we went out to see 4 listings and I was immediately impressed by how familiar they were with the city and its different neighborhoods, some of which I've never seen before even after living here for over a decade. Although my friends and colleagues familiar with the SF market warned that searching for a home in SF would take 12-18 months, I was able to find and purchase my dream home within 4 months thanks to Bobbi and Suhl. Throughout the process, Bobbi and Suhl were extremely collaborative and flexible, whether they were sending us listings or looking into the listings we sent them. Either way, they were always available and gracious with their time. It was also super helpful that other listing agents knew Bobbi and Suhl and had a good working relationship with them. Since then, Bobbi and Suhl have been instrumental in not just the home buying process but also in setting up my home by providing referrals for various vendors, contractors, inspectors, and the like. They also assisted in helping us work with the sellers post-sale on resolving issues we had with the home. All in all, if you are looking for friendly and knowledgeable agents that are experts in the San Francisco market and won't pressure you to compromise just to make a sale, then I highly recommend Bobbi and Suhl. They are exceptional agents that I now also consider as friends. read more

As a first time home buyer, it's a daunting process but I was so lucky to have a trusted agent like Bobbi by my side every step of the way. In this hot real estate market, my daughter and I wouldn't have been able to purchase a house that we now love coming home to without her!! She always made herself available for the many questions and angst I had through the whole process. She also made herself available while on vacation, even-though I was well taken care of by her partner Suhl. Bobbi and Suhl are very knowledgeable, well connected, and experienced real estate agents that you will be thankful to have by your side to compete in this crazy/frustrating hot SF real estate market. read more

Suhl and Bobbi are wonderful to work with. In this COVID environment, they were patient and incredibly professional, being able to navigate the challenges of a changing market and all the regulatory changes that came about due to the pandemic response. I trusted them with the assessment of the SF market conditions and they delivered as promised. We were able to close timely and successfully in a very difficult market with all the shifts from SIP order. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to sell in the SF real estate market. read more

My husband and I got married in September, and signed on our first home shortly thereafter. I do NOT recommend trying to get married and buy a home in the same year... unless, of course, your realtor is Bobbi Levenson. Bobbi made this process so incredibly easy and fun for us, and we are so thankful for all of her help. My husband and I both grew up in San Francisco, and buying a home here to start our family and life together was a dream come true. It felt daunting, especially since we are from working class families and have middle class incomes. But Bobbi kept us positive, made sure we knew that it would happen and did everything in her power (I mean everything) to make that promise come true. She made sure we felt like a priority the whole time... came to open houses with us, stayed in constant communication and held our hands as we stepped into this new chapter of our lives together. Everyone said that buying a home was exhausting, but Bobbi truly made it such a smooth process for us. We will cherish our home for years to come... but when we're ready to sell this home and buy another one, we most certainly know who we'll call! read more

Bobbi helped us find our house and was totally awesome. She is knowledgeable about the market and knows tons about SF and all the neighborhoods. She was so patient with us while we were deciding exactly what we wanted. She tirelessly drove us around to look at open houses and was constantly in touch with us via email when anything came up that she though we might be interested in. It took us a long time to find the place that was just right for us, and she stuck with us in a friendly non "sales" way. She was especially helpful when it came to all the paperwork, which we knew nothing about. She explained everything to us in everyday language so that we could understand and gave us really good advice too. All around Bobbi made it a positive experience, she has a down to earth personality which made us feel really comfortable. She is not pushy at all and really, she is just a super nice person. read more

We truly lucked out working with Bobbi! When the rental property my husband and I lived in when up for sale, we wondered if we should make an offer. Since we had not been planning a purchase, we scrambled to find a trusted real estate agent. Bobbi came highly recommended and from the initial phone call, Bobbi worked tirelessly with us to figure out how we could come up with an offer within 48 hours. She was available via text, phone, email and conference call anytime my husband or I had a question, concern or slight freak out moment! At the end of it all, the property owner chose a different set of buyers, but that did not stop Bobbi from sharing with us our options for moving forward. Through it all, she was friendly, honest and provided whatever information she could to help us through the process. Following the rental property experience, Bobbi let us know that she would gladly help us continue to look for properties if interested, but in no way did we feel pressured to make moves. She was available to talk through what our realistic options were and her recommendations continued to be invaluable. Only a few weeks later, Bobbi had found a property that she truly felt would be perfect for our family. She saw the potential and went the extra mile to ensure all of our questions and concerns were answered. Between extra visits to the property to reference calls from previous clients in the neighborhood, Bobbi did everything she could to provide a transparent and positive due diligence process. Not only was she knowledgeable on the neighborhood, she also knew the creative ways to set us apart from the rest of the offers. At the end of the day, Bobbi provided us with a smooth buying experience in an extremely competitive San Francisco market. Even since closing on our new home, Bobbi has continued to be available with home improvement recommendations and references whenever we reach out. She is a passionate, experienced real estate agent and an even more wonderful person! You can't go wrong with having Bobbi in your corner! read more

Bobbi is the main reason we're in our house today. At this point, you should be picking up the phone to call her, but if you're still reading here's why she's amazing: * Fantastic negotiator - Filters out the noise and holds your position without compromising your ability to get the house. Also advises on where you should be bend; give a little get a lot more * Patient - I can't tell you the number of times I would have walked away, but Bobbi dealing with the ridiculousness of the selling agent with the highest level of professionalism * Organized - She put together a full schedule with timelines and all the documents we needed to make sure the sale went through without any issues (process nerds like me love people who work this way) * Responsive - The second something happened or needed to happen Bobbi was on it; I never had to follow up with her * Modern - We're in the Bay Area so many people may assume this, but many agents still don't use modern technology to conduct business. We all lead busy lives so working through Email, Text, Google Drive, Docusign, etc - we were able to work through everything no matter where we were Save yourself a bunch of time - connect with Bobbi! read more

Working with Bobbi was a really great experience, my partner and I were looking at a condo-conversion in the bay area and she did an excellent job of helping us navigate the process (including finding a band which understood a TIC converting into a condo). Bobbi helped me with a commercial property purchase. She was very knowledgable, thorough and patient. I liked her negotiation strategy. In addition, Bobbi is well connected with all resources you need - handymen, inspectors and even dog sitters. :) I will highly recommend Bobbi and will work with her again. read more

I've worked with Bobbi and Suhi and they're smart, funny, honest and really experienced in the SF market. Love 'em!

In this crazy market, you need an expert realtor like Bobbi. She has a great read of the market, the competitive nature of bidding and an eye for home potential. She is a realist and an optimist combined. Bobbi worked with my husband and I for over a year until we found the perfect home. We can't speak highly enough of her support! read more

Bobbi and her colleague Suhl are a great team. So great, in fact, that I used them to buy my home in Bernal Heights, and sell it 7 years later. Bobbi played point on my most recent sale. Bobbi is awesome! We'd originally hired a different realtor to sell our SF condo. He promised the world and all we got was headaches. Upon realizing we needed a different realtor, we were fortunate to be referred to Bobbi and Suhl in June of 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the market was rapidly evolving. In very short order Bobbi and Suhl, with Suhl in the lead, got contractors in for painting, hardwood refinishing, new kitchen flooring and more. They also managed the new countertop installation that we'd already contracted for... including several do-overs by the countertop contractor. All of Bobbi & Suhl's contractors did a great job. (It was the countertop contractor we'd picked that messed up.) Bobbi & Suhl also brought in a stager who was super to work with and transformed the condo. All we had to do was hand Bobbi & Suhl the keys and sign a few documents. So easy! So much less stressful! Despite the COVID pandemic, a softening market for condos and a dated peach bathroom, we were in contract just over two weeks after listing and closed less than seven weeks after listing. And Bobbi & Suhl got a huge amount of prep work done in less than five weeks on short notice. We're so grateful to Suhl and Bobbi for all their hard work and stress-free results! read more

Bobbi is the best! My wife and I just bought a wonderful house in San Francisco with Bobbi's help. As first time home buyers we really appreciated Bobbi's calm, kind, and patient attitude through the whole process. We're very happy to recommend her, and will definitely seek her help again in the future. read more

It's hard to find agents that you feel like you can really trust in a competitive real estate market. Bobbi helped us find our house in 2011 and we went straight back to Bobbi and her partner, Suhl, when we needed to sell the house this year. They are an unbelievable team and are more like friends than realtors. In fact, we have leaned on them several times over the years when we have had real estate questions, like if we should refinance and if certain renovations were worth doing. Most recently, they provided excellent advice when we needed to sell our Bernal Heights house very quickly. They were able to get us an above asking offer in 3 days without even doing a listing. They directed us to the perfect price so that we could sell the house as-is and still make an unbelievable profit. They saved us from having to move out and stage our home because of their extensive network and connections. They were extremely communicative, helpful, and physically and emotionally available through the stressful process of selling our home. They have incredible integrity and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. read more

We bought a house in the Mission last July (2010). Bobbi helped us in so many ways as our realtor. Bobbi is a consumate professional. Her knowledge and ease in the contractural minutea and the bureaucratic hurdles associated with a potentially difficult short-sale transaction was the major reason why we were able to get this house at the price we could afford and make it our home. Bobbi's intelligence, judgement and advice were crucial in our negotiations with both the vendor and their bank. The short-sale process can spin out for many months. In our case it was concluded within two months from our initial offer. Bobbi's ability and coordination was the primary reason why this process was concluded so efficiently. Her input and guidance with our financial arrangements was also invaluable. Over and above all of Bobbi's clear professional ability is her warm and engaging personality. We met Bobbi without a reccomendation in an open-house that she was running and decided to go with her as our realtor based on our gut. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made. Bobbi was not just our guide in what can be a protracted process but also became a friend who we came to trust in everyway. She is a genuine, honest and warm person. She is a pleasure to deal with. We would work again with Bobbi again without hesitation. read more

This is one of those situations where you wish you could give more than five stars. Having lived and purchased property in SF for more than 20 years, working with Bobbi to sell my house in Bernal was hands-down my best experience. Bobbi is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to pricing, staging, and marketing. But what I love most about Bobbi is that she is always positive, calm, and caring--no issue was ever too small for her not to respond quickly and professionally. Bobbi's circle of professionals--such as stagers, photographers, and maintenance support--are equally as stellar. She even helped me with my new home purchase in Pacifica by recommending an amazing colleague who knows the area. Integrity through and through--that's Bobbi. read more

It was a pleasure to work with Bobbi as we purchased our first home. We did not have any time pressure for our purchase, so our search extended over the course of a year and Bobbi was very patient with us. She guided us appropriately and maneuvered us through several bids. Her expertise on the SF residential market came through, as she was very accurate in her appraisals of what homes would end up selling for, and she thoughtfully answered all of our questions. She was skillful in helping us put together the right offer for the home we purchased, in terms of offer price and terms to make the offer most appealing to the seller. She also really came through for us when it came time to schedule a home inspection in a very limited window of time. Overall, she helped make possible the purchase of a wonderful home and we would gladly recommend her. read more

Bobbi is an awesome real estate agent. I strongly recommend her for anyone looking to buy or sell a house in San Francisco. She is a great listener and quickly understood what my partner and I were looking for in a home. We had our hearts set on living in Bernal Heights, a neighborhood that Bobbi knows inside and out. She took the time to find every listing that fit our requirements and budget AND drove us to each open house that we had an interest in seeing. Without Bobbi, we never would have been able to purchase our home. She gave us a tour of it 3 days before the first open and then immediately took us back to her office where she guided us through the writing of our offer. With four other offers on the table after the house had its first showing, Bobbi provided expert advice in determining how to craft our counter offer. Once our offer was accepted Bobbi assembled a crackpot team of inspectors, a top notch mortgage broker (Jim Stewart) and many others to make our dream a reality. I've only had a chance to recommend Bobbi to one other person and she just got his offer for a gorgeous house in the Haight accepted!
