They say in real estate its location, location. location. Sometimes in real estate it's agent, agent, agent. We signed up with the Dana Green Team to sell our home in Sept 2025, not the best time to try to sell. We worked with their recommendations and vendors and prepped the home Being somewhat analytical, I built a worksheet of homes I felt were similar in terms of size, price and apparent quality. Our home went on the market on a Wednesday with an open house on Sunday. Monday we had 3 over asking offers. Wednesday it was sold at 107% of asking. Two weeks later the transaction closed. Of the homes on my worksheet, 3 sold - all for less than asking. The remaining 5 are still for sale, 30 days later. Several have been for sale for nearly 3 months, almost all with price cuts.
