To make things worse, I saw her picking up her own prescription from the same Pharmacy, after only working a half-day. Not having this prescription can lead to me having seizures which has already happened last year in August. I'm very disappointed in her quality of care. Not only is it blatantly ignorant but it's dangerous.

I can walk, which is good since parking is scarce. There's an on-sight pharmacy and lab. Today was my third but sadly my last visit. Although my doctor of record is Michelle Renolds, I've had the misfortune of only ever seeing her physicians assistant, Stephen Brewer. Brewer is most unpleasant. He did issue an apology as he left the room after today's visit, "sorry for coming in hot." This was after I'd declined the voice recording option for a third time, and stated I didn't intend to return. If voice recording is optional, then one shouldn't be repeatedly bullied into complying. I wonder if he gets away with his rude behavior due to treating mostly low-income and minorities. If you must go, request to see an actual doctor.

I'm in the middle of looking for a new primary care physician and have to say that I was excited…read moreabout the possibility of finding one affiliated with Marin Health/UCSF so close to home... until I called. I explained that I had new insurance (leaving Kaiser), live in Sonoma, and so on. A VERY SNOTTY receptionist told me that they were accepting SOME new patients and if I'd like to be considered I needed to mail or drop off a list of all current medications, a copy of my Covid vaccination card and something else (I forgot what but it was an ID, address info or something else). They would review my documents and reach out to let me if if they would take me as a new patient. I took this as I need to apply, wait until they decide to reach out to me (if at all) THEN only if I don't really need any they might see me. I decided to look elsewhere. I want doctors that care about people and patients. This review is not about MarinHealth in general. Many people I spoke to have been WONDERFUL but this office - do better people. Do better! I also know that healthcare workers have been overwhelmed and are exhausted after the last couple of years. Hey, if you can't take on anyone, that's okay. I'd rather hear a no than be left with an "only if we deem you to be worthy or our time" impression.
