If I could give Susan 20 stars, I would. My husband had Alzheimer's and the IRS was disallowing a large business deduction on my husband's taxes filed a few years earlier. My husband's long time CPA was ill and died in the middle of trying to deal with the IRS. The IRS was demanding repayment of more than $50,000 (that my husband's CPA said was not owed) and I was a basket case. I began making monthly installments to the IRS and was looking for help. I had the unfortunate experience of receiving that letter from the IRS that no one wants to receive. I was being Audited for multiple years. I had the immediate anxiety that comes along with that type of notice. I met with my IRS representative and knew immediately I was in over my head. After searching online I found Suzan and made an appointment . after the first meeting with her I was impressed with her knowledge and willingness to help. My feelings of anxiety and hoplesness were gone after meeting with her. Like some people I had a poor history of keeping records and she helped me with peicing together my financial history. Suzan was a god send! She helps with my tax planning throughout the year, to make sure that I was making the correct choices with my money, and knows how to make sure you get every cent back. She knows her stuff, and is very honest and trustworthy. Another thing I learned was that when you graduate from school of accounting, they don't really teach you taxes. Just one or two classes, which is why she specially studied after she graduated and became certified by the IRS to do taxes throughout the US! After working with other accounting firms, no one gives you the level of service she offers. Here is my story. "From fears and tears to cheers!!!" I am a small business owner and worked with three other accountants in 12 years prior to finding Suzan. (Note: including HR Block) My accountant (who was also my bookkeeper) prior to Suzan had my small business owing more than $30,000 in taxes. I was an emotional wreck, because the economy had turned my business upside down and I was not able to pay my IRS payments. I did not know how to deal with the IRS and kept getting notices and confusing feedback trying to work with the IRS agents. I walked in her office so stressed out. Suzan was willing "FREE OF CHARGE" ---to look over my books to see if there were any obvious mistakes. Within a few minutes of glancing through my books, she saw a few things that were questionable. It has been very remiss of me to have not submitted this review for Suzan sooner. We moved into the Lodi area during tax time 2013. After the dust had settled from the move we realized that April 15 was fast approaching and we did not want to file an extension if we could help it. We found Suzan while researching online through Yelp! and other review providers finding no negative reviews. We contacted Suzan and she was more than happy to help us out. I was sick at the time and Suzan drove out to our home, about 40 miles R/T, and picked up our tax filing information. I found that above and beyond the normal efforts for a first time client and things only got better. Suzan collected her questions and submitted them via email for us to answer and get back to her. The next time we heard from her was when our return was ready to file, before the tax filing deadline. We used her service again this year and were once again pleased.
