The female employee that helped us was watching when I logged on to their computer and saw my password. So we needed to switch to another employee and change our password. We set-up 2 cd's and we always ask questions like: interest rate, length of cd, confirm non-callable, and if the cd pays interest monthly or at the end of the term. So the $80K cd we choose paid monthly however the maturity date was different monthly then the date the cd started. CD began on December 17, 2025 - so intuitively you would think on January 17, 2026 we would receive the first interest payment. That was not the case the first interest payment was not until February 1, 2026. This should have been communicated when we choose the cd.

Please take into consideration some of the negative comments from prior years: anytime you go to a free orientation seminar with any business, they will peak your interest and want you to sign up for more education at a cost. This is common business practice. I feel the newer management style under Grant has changed the way the Sacramento campus operates. All of the staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. They do not call and harass you you! They do NOT pressure you into buying any more classes- you are free to get up and walk out the door at anytime. The staff will stay after intro class for those that have more questions or are wanting to learn more and sign up for future classes. Yes, it is an initial expense, but your money does go a long way! Once you start taking courses, you become a lifetime member without additional fees except for tuition of another different course. There are multiple training classes live and online that you have lifetime access too. You can even repeat a course multiple times without paying additional costs. Then, do your job Gavin! If your client does not have that, help them achieve that goal. How insulting and rude to dismiss without even knowing any financial facts. If a client is below "your means", DO NOT deflect them onto another employee without meeting them first. Getting them in the door is half the battle...then, at that time, it can be discussed what's most beneficial for the client. How does he know what one has or doesn't have without meeting first? He was very quick to say, "I'll have Abe/Abraham (?) contact you" NOPE! Do not pass my info onto another. This is an awful way to conduct business. I don't know but like they say it's always better to start earlier then later. After talking with some colleagues and friends to find out who they used as their financial planner, Garrett Vanneman came up a few times so I thought I'd give them a call. I'm really happy with my decision of choosing a smaller firm instead of one of the larger companies. I work directly with Garrett, who grew up in Roseville. He's also a Certified Financial Planner, which I've read takes passing a very difficult test to get the certification. He took the time to listen to my goals and checked out my financial situation and was able to help me set up the correct life insurance policies and an IRA. One thing I really liked was Garrett was able to find me a less expensive insurance through my professional work organization then he was able to find on his own. And instead of pressuring me to buy one of his insurances, he told me the other would be a better deal. So I really appreciate his honesty and that he is looking out for me. Other things I really like about their office is they are really easy to get a hold of and they always call me back or email me right away whenever I have any questions. The front office staff of Nicole and Linda are very friendly and always eager to help.
