Suwannee Spring Bridge, or Graffiti Bridge as it is locally known, is a cool hidden destination in northern Florida. It is not that far off of Interstate 10 and definitely worth getting off of the highway to check out. The Bridge was built back in 1931 by the Austin Brothers Bridge Company (based in Dallas, Texas). The Bridge spans one hundred and sixty feet across the Suwanee River. The Bridge was bypassed by a new bridge back in 1971 and is still open for foot and bike traffic. However, now it also has another name, "the Bridge to Nowhere." It is cool to see because it has become an ever-changing canvas to graffiti artists and is interesting to just walk and realize all the graffiti artists who took the time to leave their creative statement. This is a very cool place and definitely worth checking out. Again, it is not far off of Interstate 10 and worth the trip. I give this cool spot five stars and I definitely would recommend it.

Maybe Kayak along the Suwannee. Very calm and peaceful My favorite part of this place was all the Live Oaks and Moss coverings. Peaceful walking trails along the Suwannee. Obvi humans have left their mark here. Any remnants of the old hotel and swimming pool are long gone.

Suwannee Springs Bridge- AKA The Bridge to Nowhere AKA The Graffiti Bridge is a little known Art Treasure and historic Fl bridge. An artist or photographers dream- this bridge is getting more and more attention thanks to social media. An Instagram hotspot- this bridge has every color thrown, painted, tagged everywhere you look. Not to mention wonderful views of the Suwannee River. There is even a rope swing tied underneath the bridge- as we could hear swimmers taking the plunge! Constructed in 1931, by a contractor out of Texas it is a Metal 7 Panel Rivet-Connected Parker Through Truss, Fixed and Approach Spans: Concrete T-Beam, Fixed. The main bridge span is 160 feet. The bridge was bypassed and abandoned in 1971, but remains open for pedestrians. Since- it has become surreal mesh of history meeting art. I consider it a must see if you are within driving distance. There are plenty of local parks in the area, as well as additional historic adventures nearby! I will be back to this beautiful bridge with paint! Happy Adventures!

You have to go here if you live in northern florida! Only about 1hr and 15 mins from Jacksonville. Take a nice motorcycle ride out there on a sunny day.

(Kidding! Please don't actually do that.) I pulled off for a quick break and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and modern everything looked. The bathrooms were tidy, the snack selection was solid, and grabbing that Monster was almost too easy. The fact that the vending machines are run by someone who's blind really stood out to me. It's not something you see every day, and it honestly put a smile on my face to see them running such a smooth operation. In the grand scheme of things, it's still a rest area, not a five-star resort. But it offered exactly what I needed at that moment--clean facilities, a decent energy boost, and a sense that someone actually cared about keeping the place welcoming. If you're rolling along I-10 and need to stop, this one's definitely worth a few minutes of your time.

On I-10, west of I-75 by a bit, this was a great stop. They do have a sign that indicates "three hour parking" so you can't overnight here. There is the "picnic area loop" around the back where you can find a nice shady spot for a nap and be away from the traffic noises. Plenty of space! The restrooms are clean and there is an attendant here so I was not at all concerned about security. Just remember to slow down as you're entering the parking area.
