This is one of our favorite spots, as it is such a relaxing and welcoming place. Our technicians were Meaghan and Heather, who both did a wonderful job. They made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our services. We appreciated being able to use the steam room and shower following the services, with their lovely shampure products. We felt so rejuvenated upon leaving here. In past visits, we were able to get more services and at longer durations. Unfortunately, that has changed. This wasn't communicated and there was an issue with scheduling our services. When we received the initial confirmation, everything looked fine (services and durations) aside from it stating "body polish" instead of "body scrub". I was assured that it would be a scrub, regardless of what the confirmation said. Unfortunately, the day before our services the confirmation email had different durations of services. When I called to inquire, I hadn't received a call back, however it was addressed immediately upon our arrival. They noted that our call was received and said they figured they would wait until they saw us. I wish it had been addressed ahead of time, as we had to make a quick decision on the spot regarding our services. I would have preferred time to think it over. Also, the polish was in fact a polish and not a scrub, which was not what was wanted nor expected. Overall, we had a great time and would go back! This has become a staple for our white mountain trips. The services are always great, the staff is always friendly, and we always leave feeling refreshed! The only downside was the lack of communication/scheduling error, which has never been a problem in our countless other visits here.

They charged me the second half the day before we were supposed to check in. When we arrived at the hotel to check in, we were told that there was no room for us and all rooms were occupied! They also deceived us saying that they found an alternative hotel for us to stay that night, but it turned out to be a lie! What a terrible experience with this horrible hotel! The grounds are beautifully maintained. Our niece left her AirPods in her room and didn't realize it until after checkout. From the outside, you would never expect it to be that nice. The room was impeccably clean. The bed was very nicely made there were two chairs positioned by the fireplace. The fireplace helped warm the room on a chilly night and brought a glow. I hi never thought I'd appreciate that coming from South Florida. Maybe I forgot what it's like to have a fireplace from my childhood when I lived in Massachusetts. The downside is there's no coffee maker in the room and even though they have complementary coffee in the lobby they don't open until 8 AM. I'm an early riser and I wanted to get to the white Mountain national Park early so that meant I had to go a few blocks to Dunkin' Donuts to get myself some coffee. There is no breakfast included. If you get the basic room it's worth it because the rates are much half that of those with upgrades. The front desk clerk had zero personality and refused to honor the online price which was $50 less than what I paid when I reserved the room. That is just not nice. On the other hand the guy from Turkey that cleaned our room was super nice and kind to us. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I probably will not book ahead of time if it's not busy season also, there is no direct mountain view, you have to look sideways.

I am grateful to have seen the high ratings and found this property in Lincoln - Matt and his village are something special. Whether you're outgoing and personable and like to meet neighbors, or more private and enjoy your own people or your own time alone, this is the place to stay. I indulged in both privacy & camaraderie this trip, and enjoyed both thoroughly. An exceptional host, it's also clear Matt takes pride in his property as he is either splitting logs & chopping firewood, renovating bathrooms (motel's are pristine), mingling, playing volleyball & badminton with guests' kids, or singing at a late night campfire. One of the greatest features of this property is its location. Being away from the busyness and uptightness of uptown was spectacular, yet only a six-minute drive for the benefits, which for me primarily meant the eateries and pubs. I ate in, I dined out, and I grabbed takeout. And each time I made that pleasant little drive back to the village, I smiled. My favorite memory: Sitting on the screened-in deck of the cottage at night with my feet up, laboring away on my computer with a beer, watching the campfire Matt lit and the people gathered around enjoying company in nature. There is a daytime bar at the bike shop. Drinks were cold and the service was friendly. All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly and professional.
