    Dedicated vegan-friendly options!

Amazing vegan 'fish' cakes! Some of the most delicious bites we had in London. Great staff- friendly, attentive, great space. We ate at the one table outside. Inside decor is fresh. Take-away Walk-Up window available. Highly recommend a visit if you're even remotely in the area!

**Cash only** Great place for a vegan "fish" & chips fix and the vegan prawns are just amazing! Service was friendly and pricing was very modest. The only reason it's not a 5 star rating is it takes a little while to get your food when you order.

    So good !

Great food, best fish and chips in London! Just wish that they would let you pay by card, it's a lot of cash for a chippy.

Super comfy chairs, nice long tables, perfect for getting a large group of people together and some cute decor. The staff are super friendly and the server realty took time to talk us through the menu and make recommendations. And I think they charged practically half of the tables phones too, which was fabulous! Totally saved me! Food wise, it's a bit on the pricey side and the portions aren't massive, you'll need a platter and a side each if you wanna eat a fair sized meal. This will come to around £15-18, but the quality is very good! I got the hot fish platter and mmm it was delicious! The wine and beer menu is very extensive which impressed and I tried out a very strange sounding IPA called Galaxy.. No, its not chocolate flavoured, before you ask. That was super strong at 6.5% and is definitely worth trying if you're an IPA drinker. All in all, if you want somewhere with a chilled out vibe for a date night or a meal with a group of friends, this could well be your spot!

A friend of mine holds a monthly event here called the Sunday Shake Off Brunch (a blues dancing and…read moreskills share event - you should check it out!), and I was very impressed with the venue today. We use a room downstairs - fairly small but perfect for our needs, with a DJ booth space in one corner, and a small bar in the opposite corner (we use this as a place to rest our drinks, etc, which are ordered upstairs. There is a bar with stools down one side of the room, sofas lining the other side and one wall has a mirror lining it. Today the room seemed to be decorated with a space theme (not for us but we enjoyed it), and they started taking the decorations down once we were done, so who knows what we'll have next time! One of the sections of our event also involved glitter getting everywhere, and they were fine with that (with advance warning!). They serve brunch until 3pm today upstairs, but we pre-ordered ours and sat down as one big group at 3pm to eat - they were happy to help us rearrange all the tables so that we could sit together properly, rather than in split tables of two or four. The brunch menu is small but varied, from salmon to duck to avocado, and the poached eggs are perfect (and fresh! The yolks are BRIGHT and rich)! The coffees were great too, and there were deals on alcohol but I did not partake on this occasion... Almost most importantly though, the staff were really friendly and helpful! An overall lovely experience, it's a shame Haunt is so far out of my way in the general day to day! Thoroughly recommended.

The food was splendid, the service exceedingly proper, and the atmosphere possessed that unmistakable charm which makes Soho such a grand corner of London. I have eaten in no small number of establishments over the years, yet this one has earned a full five stars from me. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from beginning to end, and one I should happily recommend to any gentleman or lady seeking a proper meal in the heart of London. Five stars, without hesitation. -Sir Archibald Beuamont

I was worried that they would run out of roast so the hostess had me email her our order ahead of time. She was super accommodating! We started with some cocktails and wine. The cocktails were delicious! For dinner, my mom and I shared the chicken to share and my dad had the veggie Wellington. Everything was delicious! The chicken came with Yorkshire puddings for both us! They were AMAZING! I now love Yorkshire puddings, but who wouldn't?! They're flakey on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside! Yum! It also came with veggies, potatoes and stuffing balls! We had a food baby at the end! My dad had a spinach and Ricotta Wellington with a Yorkshire pudding as well! He loved it and was very impressed with the meal. Best Sunday roast here!!

Tillie was our server and I wanted to make her my friend! The sweetest smile, the kindest personality and demeanor. It was like a warm hug being served by here. I came in convinced we were going to do the chef's choice meal but there were too many specific dishes we wanted to try so we went in that direction. Started with the rip and dip platter with GF bread. Pitas looked amazing but the GF bread worked great too. The smoked cod dip was unreal. For mains we shared the fried halloumi, sea bream, chicken and calamari. That fried halloumi has been in my head for days now, I'm obsessed. Nothing special about the calamari but the sea bream was bright, nutty and delicious. And the chicken was juicy and the sauce was addictive, I couldn't stop eating it. We got the med cheesecake for dessert and the sourness of the cheese paired with the crunchy kataifi was so good! I can't stop talking about this place and will visit again later this year. The environments are really pleasant and airy. You feel as though you've been transported outside of London to a restaurant on the coast in Crete. Maybe that's a bit of a stretch but still I do feel as though wnen I'm inside the grey-on-grey atmosphere of the local environment disappears. Food itself is mostly really good. Some personal favorites are the pork and feta sausages which are so comparable to the kind of sausage you'd have camping in the mountains in the States that my sentimentality is for back home rather than the Mediterranean! More on theme is the lightly fried aubergine skewer which is one of the most delicious preperations of eggplant that I've ever had. The greek salad is small but radiating with fresh flavor - you'll be surprised that something so simple as so satisfying. Less tasty is the chicken - I've tried this a couple of times and while the chicken is relatively juicy the seasoning is just a bit on the bland side to really resonate. I have also tried the trout which is near indistinguisable from salmon - not necessarily a bad thing and certainly the fish is fresh but ultimately it's not that exciting of a dish. Overall Brother Marcus is definitely a good spot and especially if you're in Canary Wharf which has a spotty upmarket restaurant scene. Go for it.

There was a party atmosphere with balloons up and a big crowd, no doubt wanting to get their last fix of seafood We lucky Elites were fortunate to get a free signature lobster roll, which would usually cost £11 and a glass of bubbly (I got homemade lemonade instead). I've been holding off lobster roll as my US friends in New England have asked me not to partake until I visit them and they would take me for the best lobster roll in the world However, when free food calls, I'm there! The lobster roll was delicious. I was expecting a plain soft roll but B.O.B's have toasted their bread to give added texture, buttered it generously and filled it with a good portion of sweet soft lobster bound together with mayo. Great taste and flavour but perhaps not the largest sandwich in the world I didn't try their lobster mac n cheese and lobster bisque but they did smell fantastic Bye bye B.O.B. and hope to see you back next year. The lobster roll is obviously the signature dish and is more than expected in the construction. The glorious crispy taco shells are filled with delicious tuna and a wonderful fresh and vibrant salad. The wasabi dressing is great too (and I don't like wasabi!) Mac n cheese is al dente, creamy and rich with lobster pieces and the pickles are great (even though the liquor that they are stored in looks like a witches pot!)
