Advertised as 4/4 after re-work wouldn't be more than 1/4 inch left. I asked the clerk if he was aware and would he reduce the price, he said he couldn't, that's how he got it. Very disappointed. Purchased the only board out of 40 that had 10 % tear out/waste. Great selection of exotics and domestics however the quality/grade is poor and the milling is very poor in my opinion that covers 50 years in the trades.

DO NOT USE MARK! He came to my house for a consult. Agreed to the project. Took my deposit telling…read moreme he would be able to fast track my project before my baby was born. He proceeded to give me excuse after excuse as to why he kept pushing the date out. That was back in December of 2023. We requested our money back from Mark countless times with no success. Mark, if you return our money I will consider taking this review but until then I will be keeping this up in hopes that no one else has to go through what we did "working" with you.

This Lowe's always seems like a hardware store that is somehow dealing with depression and low self…read moreesteem. There are some very friendly good people there, but trying to find the tool or part needed frequently ends in going someplace else. We are in the middle of remodeling a home, so our visits are frequent and many times we aren't exactly sure what to get. And there are some great equally helpless staff to point us to the wrong solution. There are things the Lowe's has. Craftsman tools and some parts, for instance. And there are things they don't, like the proper wide replacement bracket for a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan that probably was purchased there. It's like a darker version of HD. Literally, it feels darker and less friendly, as odd as that sounds. The comparison applies to the staff as well, where the guy in the plumbing isle at Lowe's can lethargically point you in general to the location of some of the parts, the guy in the plumbing isle at HD can brightly describe exactly how to solve your problem backed by 40 years of master plumbing experience he recently retired from. Sure, we frequent Lowe's. It's conveniently located. And in general, a 2x4 is a 2x4, and a dry wall screw is a dry wall screw.

I recently had ankle fusion surgery so I am re-learning how to walk, meaning I have to use a walker and can't walk long distance yet. Upon arriving, there were no motorized carts available. We entered right by the customer service desk, so I stopped and asked about them in case they were located at a different entrance. Mind you, I have a giant orthopedic boot & walker, but the woman still looked at me like I was a lazy POS & said "we only have one so someone must have it," then rolled her eyes and turned away from us. I started the long-for-me walk to the lighting section and had to stop part way to rest. Fortunately, some other customer had seen fit to open up a package of folding chairs nearby, so I was able to sit down for a few minutes and rest. At this point a nice young lady who worked there came by and asked if I needed help, and I explained the motorized cart situation. She was aghast and said she would go find it. She recruited a young man to help, and they found it out in the parking lot. The young man drove the cart to me and things went fine from the there.

Unfortunately, almost everything after the sale was frustrating. Communication was consistently poor. I repeatedly had to contact the company for updates instead of receiving them proactively. Although Taelyn responded to emails and apologized at times, getting clear answers about scheduling was difficult throughout the project. The biggest issue occurred on my scheduled installation day. I took time off expecting the crew to arrive, but no one showed up or contacted me. I had to call several times before learning the crew was delayed on another project. I was first told they would arrive that afternoon, only to later learn they weren't coming at all. Delays happen, but customers should be informed instead of having to chase updates. Even after the installation was complete, I had to request my final invoice for two days before receiving a payment link. Shortly after paying, I received a request to leave a review. The fence itself deserves five stars. My two-star rating reflects the company's communication and project management. If those had matched the quality of the installation crew, this would have been a completely different review.
