Went here for lunch today for the first time. We just moved to the area. Susy's serves really fresh, authentic, fresh off the grill food. We were very impressed and it's now our go to place for Mexican. The guacamole was made 5 minutes before it came to our table. The carnitas burrito was superb along with the tacos. Susy was very welcoming and the service was top notch. The prices are very reasonable, too. There is indoor or outdoor seating. We loved everything about the place. read more

Absolutely delicious homemade Mexican comfort food. I had the enchilada plate with chicken. After sitting in the outside area, we were served piping hot freshly fried tortillas with two original sauces. The enchiladas were exploding with flavor from the adobo based sauce. My husband and I pulled off 101 and decided to give Susy's Kitchen a try. We both enjoy Mexican food, and this place was authentic. My husband got chili verdes which was expertly seasoned. I had cheese nachos and was in heaven. I prefer grated Monterey Jack cheese instead of the runny quesos, so I was delighted to have the grated jack cheese melted perfectly on the homemade tortilla chips. She brought out a gigantic bowl of guacamole while we waited. Total tab for 4 was $52 with a beer and jaritos. If you're looking for authentic Mexican, this is the place. Not only are the prices too good to be true, but the food literally taste like it's from the kitchen at home. The rice is out of this world, the beans were perfect, and there birria was THE BEST i've ever had. I do not think I have ever written a review but Susy deserves it. First of all, the quesadilla was the best one I have ever had. It was also cheap. But mostly, I really liked giving such a nice lady my money. She was so thankful for the business and was genuinely joyful to have another customer. It almost felt like she considered her customers her family. After she gave me my order she came around the counter and gave me a hug. That has never happened to me coming from New York. She's a good hardworking lady selling an incredible product, so skip the In and Out Burger and give your money to this wonderful family establishment. The food here is wonderful. I've had Chili Relleno twice and it's the best I've ever had. They make everything fresh and it isn't microwaved like other places, so it takes longer to be served. The one thing that really upset me was the cost of the dinner at $65. We both ordered the chili relleno which is priced at $13 a plate. We bought an old bottle of wine that was coated with a layer of grease and dust. The lady told me the wine cost $25, after I asked why the price was so steep. So, $26 for the food and $25 for the wine should have totaled $51. We never got a tab, just a quote of $65. I'm very upset and feel I've been ripped off. Even though I love their food I will think twice before going there again. read more

Susy gave us a very generous taste of the daily special - Chicken Ranchero - which was excellent. The 'taste' was so generous is could have been lunch - included rice & beans as well. We ate lunch at Suzy's Kitchen. My wife and I both ordered the chilies rellenos plate. We were served some nice fresh chips, salsa, and guacamole while we waited for our order to be prepared. A short time later our food arrived. The chilies rellenos were made with two large fresh poblano chilies that were covered with a tastey red sauce and filled with a nice white cheese. The batter was warm and quite good. The chilies rellenos almost completely covered our dinner plates. but there was a generous serving of beans and rice along with the chilies. This was excellent authentic home style Mexican food. The old restaurant that was located in the same building wasn't one of my favorites. Suzy's Kitchen is great. We'll be back to try some of the other items on the menu. read more
