My choice was confirmed when his workers did an amazing job! The access to the tree was tricky, however I watched just how careful the 3 guys were. They also maintained friendly, and professional attitudes while working in nearly 100 degree weather! Also I was very impressed with how they completely and carefully cleaned up before they left. My husband…read moreand I are renting our house and are assisting our landlord in finding quotes to prune the redwood tree in our backyard. If I could give zero stars, I would. The woman I was emailing with was very friendly, however the owner Joe Borden is extremely unprofessional. Here is the response I received from the owner when I was trying to coordinate a time for them to come evaluate the tree. "You say that you and your husband work from home, but give me definite times that you are available. This tells me two things, you are inflexible on what you want, and not flexible on your time. I don't work with clients like that. Good luck, have a nice life" For context, my husband and I run a design studio remotely from home. So yes, working from home means there are times we may be on conference calls with clients and cannot just get up and walk out whenever someone comes by. I outlined the days and times we would definitely be available (for instance - Thursday in the afternoon after 2pm, etc.) The owner of Britton Tree Services clearly doesn't understand or respect the realities of working from home. It doesn't mean that we are sitting around doing nothing, and that we can be available at any given time of the day. Very disappointed in their response.
