In the past, I had called 2 different heating companies to look at the boiler in my house. Both companies said my boiler was working fine, but yet my 2nd floor was still cold. I had called Lawerence plumbing to look at my furnace. Lawerence plumbing sent 2 technicians, Sam and Ed. It only took 5 minutes and they found the problem. The PSI in the water system was only at 5 Lbs, when it should have been at 15 Lbs. The valves that controls the water pressure in the boiler was corroded and stuck. The boiler system was old, and several other valves were also in need of replacement. Surprisingly, they were able to replace the old worn-out parts without breaking other parts. That's always the fear of working on old plumbing, things tend to snowball. They had to replace some bleeder valves on two of the radiators also. To make a long story short, Sam and Ed did a terrific job fixing my boiler. They were able to restore heat to my 2nd-floor without costing me a small fortune. If I ever need a plumber again, I will gladly call Lawerence Plumbing. They did a terrific job at an honest price. If I do call them again, I hope they send Sam & Ed again. Those two guys really know their stuff. Thanks Lawerence Plumbing and Heating

Nick just finished installing my new toilet today. They were both so knowledgeable and did quality work. They explained everything so well. And, they aren't expensive. Needless to say, I was on Yelp finding someone else for a 2nd opinion. Jennifer at Metz called me and messaged me right away to view video footage and get something scheduled. I was able to call, text, and email her as often or as little as I needed to and ALWAYS received a response. The communication was exceptional from start to finish. Someone came out that same week to take a look and give out a timely estimate. This company does offer financing, although we did not use it. The quote was less than half of what the other company had quoted us. We got a straight forward diagnosis, with honest pricing, and reliable service. The team came out on the day they were scheduled at the time they were scheduled. They were able to complete our project in only 2 days. Extremely efficient, and walked my husband through what they were doing and put us at ease with what still needed to be done. The pictures and reviews from myself and everyone else speaks for themselves. While I hope to never need more restorative services on my property (LOL), if I ever did, I would 10,000% use Metz again. I will be recommending them to anyone I know who needs it. Absolutely amazing!

McVay has been such a blessing as a homeowner. With their…read moreMVP offering, ease in appointment setup, and professionalism in resolving issues at my home. Earlier this year, I knew I would need a drain line replaced from my driveway, so I received quotes from multiple companies... and McVay not only came in at the best price, but they also approached the situation in the most professional and amicable way. During the booking process, the office informed me of the MVP Plan. For just $239 annually with no automatic renew, I could receive money off this current project and a slew of necessary homeowner checks throughout the year for free! From plumbing, heating, electrical, and cooling, I've had now numerous checks by McVay - and best part - they don't all end in an upsale to gain money. McVay hires experts in each field that are giving the best input and even tips to keep your systems running smoothly. I'd suggest McVay to anyone and everyone

It has not been right since install and I have 14 degree temperature difference between the upstairs and basement. The 4th tech claimed there was a block in the system (that their other 3 techs miraculously missed??) and it required $3k worth of work to correct the problem. I spent $17k the year before on the new system. So now $20 grand in and my house could not be more uncomfortable year round. It was not this way before this new system was installed. While they didn't install it, they did recommend a useless $3k "fix" that did nothing. It is a constant 64 degrees in my finished basement. We can't even use that floor even though it's a beautifully finished. The upstairs is like a furnace. Miserable every night. I've made 2 appointments since to have the tech who did these repairs show up and explain. Although I specifically requested him, they have sent someone else twice. They seem very unorganized and they are not very effective. So all this money and time later, I'm stuck. Very disappointing and I now seriously question if that $3k "repair" was even necessary. Don't hire them.
