I try to avoid sushi bars, as I'm not a fan of sushi that has been sitting out, making the rounds and not getting eaten. However, I needed a quick solo lunch and Sushiwa was next to my hotel. The fish is fairly good, especially the salmon. The prices are reasonable, price tiers are indicated by the color of the sushi plate. As with many places in Australia (and Europe), you need to ask the server if you need anything - do not wait for them to cater to you.
I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here if I was craving sushi, but I left feeling satisfied and without doing much damage to my wallet. read more
