First of all, the atmosphere is super unique. All your senses (especially your visual sense) are stimulated by the decor, the action and the sushi preparation right before your eyes. We each ordered the Omakase 1 platter (sashimi (4), sushi (4), maki (10). There was a miscommunication with our waiter and he only gave us one of the platters. There was some confusion at first but eventually, the sushi chef behind the counter (owner or manager?) brought us another platter and threw in some extra dishes. Everything was delicious and fresh. Unique flavours and textures. Reasonable price for the quality

Everything is expertly prepared and packaged, ready to handle the trek to your flat. The sushi is marvelously fresh, the sashimi heavenly, and the flavors creative (try the rice crackers topped with seafood). Plus, there's plenty of wasabi and ginger if needed. Bring cash.

You know how when you go to sushi spots and order like 6 rolls and halfway through everything starts to taste the same. This did not happen here at all. In fact it was quite the opposite. As an American sushi goer, I want to thank them for not drowning every roll in sauce. In fact none of the rolls were covered in sauce. It's a lame trick almost every place in the states does to cover up the fact that without the sauce, all you'd be eating is rice and shrimp tempura. You will love this place!

It was a bit of a wait to get in even on a Wednesday night in November as we did not have a reservation but they promptly seated us. There are two floors so it is crowded but spacious enough for plenty of food at each table. They have lots of sushi you can't even get at most sit down places in the US including lots of torched nigiri and roll options. The salmon don and ramen were great as well as were the desserts. The service was prompt and we ordered with an iPad. We tried some great sake too. The only complaint regarding service is they gave us a plate for another table but it happens. Would love to come back here again in Montreal as this may be the best of many AYCE sushi places but would love to try another one too. All in all, this was a wonderful last meal in this amazing city.

There is a male host/front-of-house staff member who is extremely rude and does not know how to speak to customers. He was impolite from the start, and the situation got worse as the night went on. We were a group of four. We placed our order and waited 30 minutes, only to find out that the restaurant had cancelled and thrown out our order. Meanwhile, we watched people who arrived after us getting their food. When we asked why we had no sushi, we were simply told, "Sorry, we lost your order, please order again." When our food finally arrived, the same rude host brought it to our table. He literally threw the plates down and walked away without saying a word. To top it off, they automatically added a tip to the bill, which felt aggressive considering how poorly we were treated. They did not deserve that tip. I do want to express out Rebecca, our waitress, need retraining, ande the male host completely ruined the experience. He is the reason I will never recommend this restaurant. You need to do better.

The other on the same floor as the bbq and is all you can eat sushi. We didn't try this one but while at the bbq, my girlfriend did order sushi (included in the bbq) and she really liked them. Sometime, it come off a train on top of the conveyer belt, other stuff come from a big cat robot and some are waiter delivered. On the third floor is the newly opened Izakaya. I didn't see the menu but from what I understood, you can also get the same sushi plus many more offering. This floor is like a bar so 18+ only. The second floor is busy specially on week-end. You might be lucky to snatch a place without reservation but it took me all summer to get one without reservation. Reservation are available on the website and very easy to do and highly recommended. The izakaya is first come first serve. The price is normal for a bbq place. The ambiance is a mix of anime,. 3d CGI and such projected to walls. It's very nice. I'll come back for sure.
