I've had sushi at a lot of places but the roll I had here was the best one I've ever had. It doesn't look like much from the outside because it's in a little strip of stores and hard to find but the quality of their food is excellent. We were craving sushi so we stopped in here to grab a small bit to eat with a drink before heading to our next place for an app. The service was very good and the restaurant itself was very clean and had a great ambiance. We ordered: - Blue Crab Volcano Roll 100/10 - Salmon Nigiri 10/10 - Seaweed Salad 10/10 - Sapporo 10/10 There isn't much else to say about this place except their food is top notch. Enjoy :)
The sushi was great and we went early enough on a Thursday night to be seated immediately. If you stay at Margaritaville you get a free edamame. The only thing I would change is a different selection of drinks, but I get that not all sushi restaurants make crazy drinks. The food was great. The price was definitely expensive but everything is on the island. The ambiance was good.
Order led the yellow curry shrimp. Generous portion. But it was not yellow! It was brown. This curry tasted more like and Indian curry, not Thai. I told waitress I didn't care for it. She said she never liked it as well. She was kind enough to let Me try another dish. I ordered the sweet and sour shrimp. It was a tempura batter. Such large prawns. I was impressed .
fresh and delicious sushi! the place itself is nothing spectacular but the food is yummy! we got the "love boat" and everything was chef's choice except the salmon tempura roll. i requested that because it sounded so good. the staff was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu! the restaurant is located in red hook and there are so many shops and other restaurants to choose from.
The only reason we came here because the restaurant we decided to eat at had a malfunction in the kitchen and was not serving dinner. Bad choice......Pure disappointment!!!! We ordered the tiger roll, pork lo mein and chicken pad Thai. Let me start with the tiger roll.... It was beautifully displayed on the dish but you could not bite through nori, it was difficult to chew let alone swallow.... So it had to be deconstructed to eat. The pork lo mein was mediocre at best, it kinda tasted like lo mein, the pork had a good flavor and was tender. The chicken pad Thai was disgusting, it tasted the sweet barbecue sauce, needless to say.... It was a very disappointing dinner! Go down the street to Raw for good sushi!

Wonderful sushi spot. Always fresh and very no frills. Make it a point to eat there every time I'm in St Thomas. Parking can be difficult but be patient. Worth it! read more
What a great spot for many options of asian cuisine and super affordable too! Nice arrangement inside and plenty of seating to eat indoors or they do offer take out as well. We ended up getting two sushi rolls (eel & spicy tuna). Then, the Szechuan Beef (spicy) with a side of udon noodles. Everything was excellent!! The beef was so superb & super tender plus, adding in the noodles just made it even more hardy & delicious. Portions were perfect as was the service. If you are looking for a quick, great, affordable and freshly prepared meal- this is the place to come. We were extremely pleased with our experience here on the island. read more

Pad Thai is sweet and spicy. Good. Pad see uuu is good as well! Spring roll is vegetables inside, good too. read more
Boyfriend said this was a two star. Pad see ew veggies and beef were good but the noodles were not. Sushi was not half as bad as I thought!! This place is DEF a Chinese restaurant with Chinese lunch specials. Flavor overall is not bad just missing any semblance of Thai or Japanese flavor. read more

Food was decent. I had higher expectations for this restaurant after reading previous reviews. But all dishes we ordered were so so. I actually was craving for red curry but, umm... this's nothing like Thai curry... not creamy and lack of coconut mild for sure. Though the waitress was friendly, however she gave us wrong info about the egg rolls. I asked her wether it's chicken or pork in egg rolls, she told us chicken, but the egg rolls were full of vegetables and no meat to be found. Also I totally think she did the math wrong. Our bill was $93... what!?! All we ordered were 3 egg rolls $2*3 =$6, hot sake $10, Thai tea $4, teriyaki beff $18, cashew chicken 15, red curry $15 and pineapple fried rice $13, total should be $81, but she charged us $93... taxes? Anyway, oh well. This's our vacation and I expected not going back there again. read more

Love love love this place! Great Nigiri and Sushi with a great selection of foods. I'm absolutely in LOVE with the Egg Drop Soup. Their spice levels are incredibly mild compared to my local area. The staff is super friendly and very warm. Our server is always fantastic. I do wish they had Tom Yum soup. Parking can be a challenge on a busy lunch day. read more

Great service and prices for sushi in comparison to other spots on the island. We ate here twice while visiting for the week because it was so good! Not many alc drink options but very good sushi. read more

Wonderful place for sushi, lunch or dinner. Prices are VERY REASONABLE! Staff was friendly and top shelf liquors and great wine. Highly recommend if you love Asian food! We stayed at Margaritaville- walked down to Picasso's cafe (by the security gate) and caught the open-air safari for $1 per person- got off at Red Hook! But coming back we caught a taxi because it only run one way and you would end up riding forever and catching a transfer at the Tutu Mall. Safari transit is cheap and runs until about 7pm! read more

This is my new favorite restaurant on island. I'M SO HAPPY WE ATE HERE! Wow, this place was fantastic, I really can't wait to go back! We came here with high hopes, and we were not disappointed! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside its decorated nicely and is very inviting. We were seated and decided to start out with some sake....and boy do they have sake! Lots of different types, brands, and flavors, so I decided to try their jelly sake! It came already in a glass, looked fairly normal, but when you drink it with a straw, it turns to gelatin in the straw! Super weird and cool, and it tastes like a good, mild sake! Very awesome, I had never seen this before so it was a fun treat! For dinner, I got their Spicy Rainbow Roll, and also some Tom Yum soup. They did have lots of different Thai curries, which I really wanted, but will just have to be back to try those some other time! The soup was very good, a little on the spicy side for me, but still really tasty and the ingredients were perfectly cooked. The sushi roll was AWESOME! I was so happy/impressed, it was superb. Very simple, basic sushi, but done right with quality, fresh ingredients...recipe for success! My girlfriend got the Hurricane Roll and it was awesome as well, and my husband got the California Roll, very good rolls here! We also ordered some Beef Satay for an appetizer, and it was superb as well! The beef was cooked just right, was very tender and flavorful. Their peanut sauce....wow....I think they make their own in-house if I remember correctly...well whatever it is, its AMAZING! I LOVED that peanut sauce, could have dipped anything in it and ate it, was SOOO GOOD! Everything we had that night was soooo good, I REALLY can't wait to be back! This is definitely my favorite restaurant on island right now...period. They also had some desserts that looked amazing, we were too full on this last trip to sample them, but I can't wait for next time to try those out! Their menu is pretty extensive, so I can't wait to come back and try new things here. This place is just what our island needs, and I intend to eat at Sushi Thai whenever I can! read more
