This restaurant stands out in the area as having warm, welcoming table service and consistently great sushi. Coming from Santa Barbara, I knew Sushi Teri as a casual lunch spot but here in Lompoc, Sushi Teri is the best dinner spot in town. Their fish is always fresh and they often have tasty cuts of tuna or salmon belly, as well as Uni from Santa Barbara. For that reason, we prefer their nigiri and sashimi but also enjoy a mission roll or girl's night out roll on occasion. The sushi combo dinner with soup and salad is an amazing value and has a variety of fish. Their spicy ramen with SB craft ramen noodles is also the best ramen in town, in my humble opinion. For us, the service, cleanliness and consistency keeps us coming back almost every week. The manager is ever present in the dining room and ensures all the guests are well looked after. I'm a local to Lompoc and this use to my favorite sushi restaurant a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, the quality of service has gone down (mainly by the owner, but the staff is wonderful) every single time I've gone back to give it another shot. Like today, my husband and I came to Lompoc to visit family and did a massive pick up order to find that the boxes were stacked on top of smaller boxes and the sushi rolls completely fell out. I called the restaurant and spoke with the owner whom then questioned the complaint (which I've never experience) and instead of asking if we'd like a refund on the rolls that where on the bottom of the bag, he asked me if I can send photos of the sushi in the bag to his phone, which I thought was very inappropriate. I do not recommend this sushi restaurant, and I'm super bummed I can not support a local restaurant. read more

Last nights dinner was WOW! We came in around 6 from another sushi restaurant that didn't even say hello after 10 mins. That is how we ended up at Sushi Teri. We were seated right away and had our drinks within 5 mins and ordered our starters. Everything we ordered was hot fast and delicious. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly and helped choose our rolls since the menu has so many. We did not want spicy and she recommended 2 rolls that we will order again. Ordered peach Sake to try, would order that again! We ordered the Dynamite appetizer (scallop's imitation crab and spicy mayo) It was Excellent! Would have been cool to have a chip to eat this with cuz the chopsticks were not it for me trying to eat this. Miso soup was served right away and it was the best i've tasted with plenty of Tofu Spring rolls were delicious cooked perfectly. They were at the table within 3 mins Chicken Teriyaki came for our boys right away so it was perfect timing while we ate our appetizers. Out comes out 2 rolls One is the white dragon (California roll with albacore avocado and ponzu sauce) it's was amazing. Crunchy roll (Tuna yellowtail salmon and cream cheese deep fried with a sweet sauce. Amazing. Last we ordered mixed fried rice, beef chicken and shrimp. Our server was great we loved her, but the manager/ owner was super rude! i've never experienced anything like it before from a restaurant. We didn't like a roll and asked if it could be taken off the bill they said they couldn't and gave us a discount we said that's fine, we later go to register to pay and the man working it (the manager) was extremely rude telling us we shouldn't modify our food then say we don't like it ( all we did was remove broccoli from a roll, there were 3 of us we all tried it and agreed it wasn't good) so we say okay and he continues to tell us that if we modify something then obviously it wouldn't taste good in the worst tone ever and again we just nodded saying okay and he kept going as if we were arguing with him but we stayed quiet cause we had never dealt with someone like that before. will never eat here again. read more

My favorite sushi AND Ramen place in Lompoc. The fish is good quality and everything is delicious. The prices are a little higher then some places, but you get what you pay for. They use more fish and don't fill everything with imitation crab like some other places in town. The Ramen is AMAZING. I wish they could get all the toppings from Nikka Ramen in Goleta but I'll take what I can get. I always get the Kuro black garlic ramen with a soft boiled egg. Sushi Teri hands down has some of the best sushi in Lompoc, if not SB County. It's fresh and they have very fair prices. If you like real sushi (sashimi or nigiri) this needs to be your go to! The ramen flavor itself is really good, not too salty and not fatty compare to other places in Goleta. Not a fan of their sushi but I can get by without it. I have had a few things from here so here's my review. Ramen, black garlic- the broth is really flavorful and is up to par with places from Orange County. The noodles are pretty thick but I liked those as well even though I usually prefer thin noodle. The egg was hard to eat because it comes whole rather than halves and it wasn't marinated as much as the ones I'm used to, but it was definitely soft boiled. There was garlic chips in it too which was great and I would definitely order this again. I also ordered it to go and it came in two small paper containers, I had to put it in a bowl at home so I could put the broth and noodles together and use a soup spoon from home. Chicken karaage- I wasn't a fan of this. The pieces are really big and not very crispy. Since it's chicken thigh it was too chewy for me. Chicken gyoza- really crispy and the filling is flavorful Pink Cadillac- this is always really good and it's my favorite thing here Sashimi- the fish wasn't very fresh, the tuna/salmon were off in color. Not bad but not great The service is okay it seems like there's some new waitresses that are training, but anyone who's getting a job during these times should be given some slack. So I was having a craving grilled mackerel and hoped I could find it in one of the few a Japanese restaurants in town. I stopped here first and only saw grilled salmon, tuna, or yellowtail collar...which one do you think i picked?! Come early or call ahead because the menu says that they only have limited amounts. I ordered my meal to go and it was about $15 for 2 succulent and tasty grilled yellowtail collars, rice, shredded cabbage salad, and miso soup. It's plenty of food for 2 if you order an extra soup. While I was waiting, all of the people were very friendly, got me hot tea, and made sure I was comfortable. When I was leaving I decided to tell them about how I ended up at the restaurant looking for mackerel and the owner? said it was a good idea and he'd definitely consider making it sometimes! Nice!
