Ok, so I've been there few times after they took over Sushi Palace. The quality has declined gradually and dramatically for everything except the salt&paper shrimps. This time I couldn't enjoy my sushis at all the soy sauce tasted funny (no taste at all) until we realized that they diluted it with water in all the bottles (for all the tables! So it's not some silly customers that were playing with the sauce before living... the resto actually diluted all the sauce soy bottles). Some fish also tasted funny and I question if they didn't went bad, I hope I won't be sick!
Service is OK depending on the day and the time you go. If you go on the evening weekend, you might have a chance to get a good service from waiters that been there before the new owners. If you go on in day time, they don't have enough stuff to serve everyone. However the stuff is nice and doing the best with the giving conditions they have to work with. The resto changed to bring your own wine and SAQ is just next to the resto. Last 2 points are the only reasons why they got 2 stars. read more
