Great prices at lunch for fresh made sushi. The staff were super friendly and the place spotless.

The initial five minutes were such a turn off, perhaps I enjoyed the food a little less. More details and my first five minutes: We had a reservation for 14 at 5:00. I arrived at 4:45 and asked how to get to the tiki bar. The hostess said she was going there and I could follow her. I said "great, by the way I am part of the 5:00 reservation". She couldn't find the reservation, then said "oh no. You can't go out to the tiki bar. Your party is already here. They're waiting for you.". She actually scolded me. I felt shocked, confused, and reprimanded. It's true that the rest of the party did arrive early. I immediately sat with the group, never making it out to the tiki bar. When I sat at the table, the waiter was already taking drink orders, and I had 15 seconds to decide on a drink. He said he would come back to me. He didn't come back until after all the other drinks were prepared and served. The rest of my group enjoyed it very much. The view of the water was beautiful, and seeing the boats was delightful and serene. I'm curious how the tiki bar is. It could've been fun.

The menu is accessed through a QR code on the table, which I'm personally not a huge fan of since I try to stay off my phone while dining. That said, the menu is extensive with plenty of variety, so there really is something for everyone. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. We ordered the Gyoza, California Roll, Ruby Roll, Tekka Don, and Miso Soup. Everything was good, but the Tekka Don was definitely my favorite, and the Miso Soup was delicious as well. The drinks were probably the biggest disappointment. The beer was overpriced, especially considering the serving sizes and compared to what we've paid for many of the same beers at other restaurants, where they're often available on draft as well. The wine selection could also use some major improvement. Most of the options leaned toward the sweeter side, and the quality just didn't seem to match the quality of the food. Since I couldn't find a wine I wanted, I ordered the Lychee Martini instead. It was okay, but definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn't have ordered a second pretty sweet. The wine and cocktails are priced similarly to what you'd expect to pay for higher-end drinks, but unfortunately, the quality just isn't there. These felt more like $7 drinks being sold at premium prices. Even the presentation of my martini was a little strange--it was garnished with two loose flower petals rather than a full flower, which looked more odd than intentional. Unfortunately, the drink selection would probably be the biggest reason we'd choose carryout or another restaurant next time. When I go out for dinner, having a really good glass of wine or a well-made cocktail is part of the experience for me, especially when the drinks are priced at a premium. Service was friendly, and our server was helpful and knowledgeable, but unfortunately it was slow. It took a while to get drinks, additional soy sauce, or have someone check back with us, and we had to flag our server down several times. To be fair, they definitely weren't standing around doing nothing. Bash seemed to have a steady stream of carryout orders, and our server spent much of our visit packing those orders. We actually felt bad for how slammed they were compared to the rest of the servers. It seems like they either need a dedicated person handling carryout or additional staff so the dine in service doesn't suffer when takeout is busy. Overall, the food was excellent and absolutely worth returning for. With some improvements to the drink selection and staffing, the dine in experience could be just as good as the food.

Walking in, it has a very hip feel to it. Not a traditional menu of what I'm used to for sushi. The menus on the wall and prices seemed reasonable. Very limited selection. They also sell ramen here, but the kind that come in the buckets that I see at the grocery store? Weird, but ok. Anyway, I went with a sushi roll that was about $14, I can't remember which one. I also sprung for some Nigiri because I like it, and got a can of Dr. Pepper that I didn't really want or need, but hey, when you're hungry you do dumb things, right? Anyway, my bill was a whopping $25.88. OUCH. I was kind of surprised but considering my options and not wanting to leave the shopping complex, I paid for it anyway, sticker shock and all. There were two sushi chefs behind the counter and they threw in an extra Nigiri for me. It was delicious! Seatings limited here but there are tables and a TV with what I think was Kpop on it playing some cute music with videos. Anyway, the food itself was great, and I really did have a good meal here, just pricier than I thought. They do serve water here but I wish they had a bigger menu to choose from.
