SUSHI DINNER 15 PCS
Michaela R.

Great ambiance, I was not expecting it when walking in from outside. It's got this nyc like vibe to it almost. Drinks were great but took forever on each one. So long that I kind of regretted ordering the last round after we finished our meals as it was that long of a wait. Fuzzy Buddha was not too sweet, just right and refreshing. I would recommend for sure! Hot sake was great and my husband enjoyed his Sapporo and one of the cocktails that was some sort of Japanese style old fashioned. Again, great drinks but just took forever. For our appetizer, we ordered pork shumai but when our waiter said they were offering appetizers half off for 10 more minutes we decided to order the shrimp shumai as well. It was fine, we were hungry...probably just frozen type shumai then cooked to be honest. Sushi wise I got the Crunchy roll and Kendall roll. Both were good, I would not say they blew my hair back but did enjoy both and their presentations were lovely. My husband got one of the sushi dinner plates. We were surprised for the price of it there was no miso soup to go with it, but he enjoyed it. We came here for date night because it's so close to the place my daughter had an event to attend. Can't say our experience was grand enough to want to go back again if we are not in the area already for something. There is better sushi in Cape Coral which is much closer for us and better pricing too.

Such great presentation and attention to detail

Very nice, good fresh sushi! Super staff- young, spunky and attentive! Very nice environment, esthetically pleasing. The tempura was excellent and the rolls were very good. Would definitely go back if in the area!

CEVICHE TRIO

Interior is super cute. Service is great. I've been here twice, and am willing to go back to get a better sense of the food. The first time I went, it was pretty good- 4/5. This most recent time, I'd give the food a 3/5. A few items just tasted off. We got the caliente roll and it had an uncomfortable after taste. Not sure what it was. The steak fried rice was pretty good, but not great enough to give us confidence in ordering the steak hibachi. The spicy tuna hand roll was good quality, I just personally don't love the sauce. The ceviche wasn't what we expected, but was a nice twist. Fresh fish. Good flavor. We also got the pokebowl. Very well presented.

It's ok, it's overrated. Food is ok, service is ok. Price is too expensive. Namba Ramen at Naples are way better than this.

This place is always 10/10. I always get the dragon roll because it's delicious! If you can fit in dessert, the Thai donuts are soooo goood! Leo, the owner, is super nice and welcoming! You can't go wrong coming here; plus it's open late! Definitely try it!

Wow! When you walk in, it's an unexpected fusion of traditional seating, Japanese Kotatsu seating, cool lighting & a sushi bar. The menu is packed with sushi options, hibachi and katsu. This place had an impressive cocktail menu, wine list and a full bar. Our server, Zion, was on point, professional, attentive and sweet. The sushi rolls were out of this world DEELISH. The steak and chicken fried rice was savory and delicious and the Thai donuts were a special treat. This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you visit, you'll come back again and again!! I know we will!!!!

Deep fried Gyoza

So we've been coming to Sushi Sake since about 2010 and visited 2-3 of their other locations in Miami so we already were set on what we wanted. When we found out there was one opening in Ft Myers we were super excited. The location is very nice inside. They provide plenty of space for big and small parties. Their layout is very nicely spaced. They have a full bar with bar seating as well. When we arrived there was not a lot of people sitting so we had no wait. We were sat right away and our drink order was placed. We ordered for appetizers the edamame and the deep fried Gyoza both were as expected tasty. We ordered a side of Shrimp fried rice, angel roll and miami heat roll. The fried came out first which was perfect to share. There was a slight delay between our rolls arriving but nothing crazy. The rolls were both delicious.

Amazing service by Alexus, the food was even better and the rest of the staff were very attentive even though they weren't our server! The restaurant itself is decorated beautifully and perfect for an intimate date night or family dinner!

This is my favorite restaurant in Ft.Myers.. it's small, cozy, hip, and just perfect. The food is absolutely and without a doubt the best food I've had in Ft Myers. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

This is a niche tapas restaurant catering to those individuals that enjoy expertly prepared food without any pretense. The restaurant itself is very unassuming with seats for 10 at the bar overlooking the kitchen and booths as well as some awkward seating as you first enter the restaurant that can accommodate up to 20 more people. What impressed me as much as the quality of the food was the quality of our server, RAIZA, who on a scale of one to 10 was a 15. She not only knew the food but her expertise with the wine pairings was superb and I think my son really appreciated her input and selections after he had laid out some of his criteria. We ordered eight items for the three of us and they were all unique, wonderfully tasteful and beautifully presented. Each selection is paired with a different wine and you have ample time between selections to chat and talk about how good the next selection will be. Hopefully my pictures will present an accurate account of how wonderful everything was. This is not the kind of restaurant that I would personally return to on a regular basis but I would welcome the opportunity to come here once a year just to be reminded of how food/dining can be a joyous occasion. It was clear from our visit that liberty has a devout following. It was interesting that there were no salt and pepper shakers on the table and this was for the obvious reason that the food came to the table properly seasoned with no extras required. I would have to say our eight selections were ample but on the light side. We arrived at our reservation time at 5:45 and departed at 7:45, a very leisure dining experience. To summarize, liberty will continue to thrive as long as they are able to maintain their high standards of food and service, kudos to ownership and staff for providing such a unique experience in Fort Myers. The medium rare chocolate chip cookies were good but the cinnamon toast crunch ice cream was beyond compare and I certainly could've used a man's size portion of that as it was so delicious.

The staff, from the hostesses to the waiters, are always kind, professional, and do a great job. I truly have no complaints about the restaurant itself. I'm writing this review because of a very strange experience we had that I feel compelled to share. We had a reservation for my mom's birthday. When we arrived, our table wasn't quite ready because the previous guests were still sitting there after paying their bill. This was absolutely not the restaurant's fault, and we had no issue waiting while the table was being cleared. Another couple came in and was in the same situation, also waiting. There was one open booth, and the host let us know it was reserved by request. Totally fine, no one had an issue with that. Then a third couple arrived, and that booth was assigned to them. While I was simply talking to my mom, the woman from that couple suddenly got in my face and yelled, "We live here!!!" and then walked off to the table. She came off very angry and mean, which completely caught me off guard, as well as the other couple waiting; they were also very taken back. It was such bizarre behavior. The situation had nothing to do with tourists, snowbirds, or who "lives here." We also live here year-round, had a reservation, and weren't upset or making faces, we were just waiting patiently. The entire interaction was confusing and unnecessary. To be clear, this review has nothing to do with the restaurant, which we love and will continue to return to. This is more of a message to that woman, in the off chance she reads this: that was one of the strangest and most uncomfortable interactions I've ever had in a restaurant, and it made absolutely no sense. Maybe don't do that next time.
