Parking was a little trouble as there is construction in the area. Was able to park in a nearby parking lot as we were just ordering takeout. Not one greeted me at the door so I walked through the restaurant to the back till where I could see multiple takeout orders waiting. Eventually a nice man rang up my bill and picked my waiting order out of the take-out pile. Ate 30minutes later and it tasted great. I was happy to see they saran wrapped the soy sauce as 50% leaked out by the time it made it home. House Dynamite roll - 8 pieces for $18. Avocado and sauce on top not worth the additional $6.50 compared to Basic Dynamite roll. Sauce was good, avocado was fresh, tempura shrimp inside was fine. 9/10 for flavor minus 2 for price. Golden Roll - 8 pieces for $14. Really loved the tempura yam on top. Not sure it was worth an additional $5 compared to just getting the Appetizer tempura (5 pieces) for $9. This was my favorite of them all. 10/10 for flavor minus 1 for price. California roll - 8 pieces for $9. Classic. Good flavor, good size, great for people who are new to sushi and more reasonable price. 10/10. Potato Croquette - 3 very small pieces. Very small, Not worth the price. Not much flavor except the strong mayo sauce on top. 7/10 flavor and minus 1 point for price. Chicken Karage - Nice flavor, really tasty but portion wise NOT worth $11.50. WAY overpriced for breaded chicken and half the takeout container is iceberg lettuce. 9/10 for flavor minus 2 points for price - will not get again. They threw in a free Edamame beans (an appetizer order is $7 but not sure we received a full order). That was unexpected and super friendly! They tasted great 10/10.

It's okay. Went here tonight and while the staff are wonderful, the food is quite overpriced in my opinion. Our rolls were soggy, drenched in sauce, and lacked any real flavour. It's not bad for a sushi place, but our experience wasn't overly memorable and we've had far better quality elsewhere. Really wanted to love it, but can't say much other than middle of the road.

MMMMM I like this place so much that I would come here again and use my gas despite the price of it. The sushi was very fresh and the flavors of everything in each dish compliments each other very well. The service was also impeccable, amazing waitress and amazing chefs. My friend and I were lucky to recieve samples of their volcano roll and I highly recommend because it is crispy and yummy of course. But to our order, we got an assortment of sushi, sashimi and rolls. They were all professionally made like a real Japanese restaurant from Japan despite being in Canada. Well I hope to come here again and bring my future mother in law to discuss world events.

Came to Sushi Park again this weekend with the whole fam jam in tow, Grandma, too! We had just watched Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (Yessss!) and were hungry from all the excitement. Unfortunately, the meal fell flat for us and was just okay. Ohana-Ya just a little further south on St. Albert Trail is my current go to Sushi joint in St. A. First off - Yay for having a kids meal but boo for serving a total of 6 thinly sliced pieces of beef over bean sprouts and calling that kid friendly teriyaki. My kids love teriyaki but over rice - not a plate of sprouts. Also, at $12, it was seriously lacking in beef. We even ordered a full plate of adult beef teriyaki to up it for them and that too was 90% bean sprouts. My hubs had the chicken and tempura Udon and while the broth was delicious it wasn't his favourite Udon. Also, he didn't care for the fact that the tempura was in the molten lava hot broth turning to absolute mush. Highlights for sure were the Seafood salad and Avocado Salad. I'd definitely order the Seafood Salad again - think finely chopped sashimi over a mix of greens with a delicious gingery rice vinegar dressing. We tried a few rolls - but again none were stand outs for us. At darn near $100, I'd rather go to Ohana-Ya (St. A) or Sushi Factory (Leduc).

Every time I order, the food is immaculate. I love it. My favourite is definitely the volcano!! The staff are so friendly, when I walk in I'm always greeted, and when leaving every staff member says good bye. I appreciate this sushi restaurant out of all the ones I've ever been too. I will continue to support them.

While there isn't many Japanese restaurants in St. Albert to choose from and whenever I'm at work and craving sushi this is where I'd order from. It's actually a pretty good decent place as price point is about the same with other places, and the taste and quality is pretty good as well. Overall, it could be better, but this totally satisfied my sushi cravings.

A lovely belated Valentines Date for me and the fella. Service is always good, though I wish the starters were finished before the rest of our order was brought out. Not the worst but it meant we had a massive table of food, luckily we were at a 4 seater and had room. The octopus on the sashimi platter was a tad chewy but apart from that everything was top notch. Can highly recommend to takoyaki and the tuna tataki appetizers. We also had a taster sent by the chef which was a nice touch. Value for money for sure. I wish half stars were an option because I definitely would say 4 1/2 stars.

Always forget to take it when it arrives.

This is the best sushi place in St.Albert maybe even Edmonton. We always forget to take a picture of the food as we can't wait to dig in.

The entrance is a bit hidden from view; just look for the sign. They also own Menya Yuzen (which specializes in ramen). We dropped in on a Sunday evening (around 7:45pm). The inside is dinky with only three tables to fit 8 people total. Crazy small. Most people do takeout. Service was friendly and attentive. The menu is in a cute booklet; appetizers, sashimi, nigiri, aburi sushi, sushi combo, rice bowl, uramaki, chumaki/futomaki, hosomaki/cone, sushi burritos and combo options. - Miso soup ($2.50) - O got a small bowl to start. She said it was salty but good. - Tamago nigiri ($2.00) - tamago is always my benchmark on whether a place will have good nigiri. SY's was great. Great texture and slight sweetness to the egg. - Chop chop hosomaki ($4.25) - this was my favourite of the two hosomaki's. Really fresh, melt in your mouth. - Spicy tuna hosomaki ($4.25) - the spice is flavourful and nicely balanced. Good but small portions. - Inari nigiri ($2.00) - bean curd. The skin had a sweet, chewy texture. Basically, tofu wrapped around a ball of rice. - 2x Aburi salmon nigiri ($2.25) - I can only think of a few places in town that do aburi style sushi. These were nicely seared and melt in your mouth. - Salmon sashimi ($10.00 for 5) - fresh, good quality and reasonably sized pieces of salmon. Can't really ask for anything more. Good quality but pricey.

The hosomaki (small rolls) are appropriately priced between $4 and $5 per 6 piece roll, but don't let the small price fool you - it's delicious and with a decent amount of filling and not just rice. Our favourite was the Aburi BC roll - at $10.50 it was one of the pricier options on the menu, but this roll would easily run you $15+ at any of the Edmonton sushi joints. Service is super friendly and the food is delicious/fresh without breaking the bank. What more do you want in life??

And the food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the farro salad with chicken, it was hands down the best salad I have ever had! Hubs had the black cod spaghetti with curry cream sauce, it was also amazing. It was definitely Asian fusion but it really worked! Our desserts were delicious, the butter cake was delicious and I'm not really a fan of cake. My creme brule was also good, standard vanilla, nothing exceptional but still good. Just make your way to XIX. We went in on a Thursday evening and were seated in the lounge. The salad we ordered to share as an appie was good. Drinks were delicious. We ordered the Coconut Atlantic Salmon and the Tenderloin Steak medium rare. The salmon was good, but the steak was cooked beyond well done - so much so that it was chewy. I asked to have the steak sent back and ordered the Harvest Salad instead. After a little while, my partner was almost done their meal and my salad had not arrived, so I asked to have the order cancelled. The server said she would cancel it, then came back 5-10 minutes later to say that it was almost ready and asked if I still wanted it. By this point my partner was almost done with their meal. I said I'd still like it cancelled and ordered a dessert to take home. The server arrived after about another 5 minutes with a box. Thinking it was the dessert, I was about to ask for the bill, but she said it was the salad and I could take it or leave it. I told her I did not want it, she said she would leave it, and repeated that I could leave it if I wanted. The dessert came soon after along with the bill. The salad was still on the bill. I asked to have it removed and the server said she could not. She called over the manager who said they were not going to take it off the bill because I took too long to cancel it. I explained that I cancelled it, at least 5 minutes passed before it was "almost ready," and then it arrived another 5-10 minutes after that, so I did not want it, nor did I want to pay for it. She said they had already "comped" the steak so I had to pay for the salad. I told her there was nothing to "comp." The steak was inedible (I had one bite out of it and returned it), so not something to comp. It was an awful meal that no one should have to pay for. I had asked for the salad to be canceled, so again, I was not asking to have anything for free. My night was ruined, I was upset, and just wanted to leave. At this point, I didn't even care anymore, I told her I'd pay for the salad and wanted to go home. The manager said she'd ask the chef if he would take it off the bill. Again, I said no and asked for the bill with the salad so I could just leave, but she left anyway. What felt like at least another 10 minutes passed before she came back. This time she said the chef had taken the drinks off, but I had to pay for the salad. The whole experience was terrible, but the last bit felt like I was being held hostage. I wanted to pay and leave, but couldn't because they wouldn't give me the bill. We took our boxes and left. I still don't know what the point of all this was. Sure they don't want to loose money. Then why offer a steak you don't know how to cook? And, comp? Do they know what that means? There is nothing complementary about having inedible food you cannot eat taken off your bill. I ordered the salad and cancelled. I don't know how their kitchen works, even if I had taken too long to cancel, I did not deserve to be kept there after I agreed to pay for it. They took the drinks off and not the salad? I think the difference what $8. Does the $8 matter that much to them? Was it some deranged power move?? ... like a "haha, we won't let you have your way!" Oookay, you guys win! Guess I shouldn't argue with a guy who can't cook a steak. He must know better than me.

And after our dinner, this place will be pretty difficult to beat. We came here for our anniversary dinner. My boyfriend put in a reservation earlier, and once we arrived we were seated pretty quickly. It was a Monday night but I was so surprised at how packed the place was. This was our first time here so the server explained how ordering on the slip works. Wait time wasn't terrible. And like I mentioned before, this place was so packed and full of people. All the servers that night were weaving through aisles, delivering food, and taking orders. They were all hustling. Food was delicious. We started off with a couple of rolls like California Rolls, Avocado, Tuna, Salmon, and Tamago. The sushi rolls were pretty small, but I didn't have a problem with it. Since it's AYCE, I knew that we'd have much more food coming. I was very impressed by the quality of fish. It tasted very fresh. Also we ordered the seared Beef Nigiri and that was delicious. We ended up ordering more of that later. For the next round, we ordered Edamame, Beef (? it was like a beef galbi cut but I forgot the name of it on the menu), Chicken Skewers, Green Onion Cake, and Tempura. For our Tempura veggies we chose pumpkin, yam, and eggplant. I loved the tempura. It was definitely a highlight of the night. The batter was very crispy, light, and all the tempura came out hot. It was wonderful. We ended up getting more after the first round of tempura because it was too good. The Chicken Skewers were phenomenal. My boyfriend and I were saying that if we had the Chicken Skewers with rice, that would just be enough. The flavor of the sauce was great: savory, slightly sweet, it was reminiscent of a teriyaki flavor for me. And lastly, we had the BC Roll, Alberta Roll, Crunchy Roll, Philadelphia Roll, the seared Beef Nigiri again, and a few other rolls. At this point of the dinner we barely had any steam left but somehow we managed. Every single we thing we ate was just amazing. I wasn't disappointed by anything we ordered actually it was just great. I will say the Crunchy Roll had this smokiness that scratched my brain in the best way possible and I was so impressed by that bite. This was such an unforgettable experience and the best place we've spent our anniversary haha. 10/10, take my money. To Sushi Toshi, I'll be thinking about you.

I was surprised when they said the meal included either a free pop, water or miso soup. I opted for the drink and my whole meal came to just over $12. I thought this was fair and THEN I saw the portions they dished out. Holy man they are not stingy! I got a huge piece of pork cutlet with broccoli and rice. Then there was 4 different pieces of tempura (one of which is prawn which you NEVER get in a bento box unless its at a premium). The dynamite rolls were unreal. They were stuffed with goodness and topped with delicious sauces- the presentation was fantastic for the rolls. It also came with the traditional side of salad and the dressing was amazing. I seriously couldn't believe that I only paid 12 bucks for this amount of food.
