I've eaten here twice. Great food & service both times. This is my new favorite sushi restaurant in Owings Mills.

We exchanged several messages, and they were incredibly helpful--especially since I don't like sushi or seafood, though my wife does. They even suggested alternative dishes for me. My wife and I eventually decided to give the restaurant a try. As I drove by, I saw Times Square and Suya Spot, but I couldn't find Chimii anywhere. My wife kept asking where it was, and honestly, I wasn't sure. I ended up parking in a garage so we could walk around and look for it. We finally spotted it--half the restaurant was hidden under a large tree, and its sign is tiny compared to the neighboring businesses. At the entrance, there was a refrigerator filled with grab‑and‑go meals, which was a bit unexpected. Once inside, we were seated right away. We ordered several dishes, and every single one was delicious. My wife absolutely loved her sushi--it was beautifully made and full of flavor. The waitress provided excellent service throughout our meal. Overall, we enjoyed our experience very much and were glad we decided to try Chimii.

The service and ambience were also amazing, which made the whole experience even better. Because the first visit was so good, I came back a few days later to try more items. This time I ordered the shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna roll, and bulgogi kimbap. Unfortunately, this is where things went left. The bulgogi kimbap had a really weird taste (and not in a good way), and the spicy tuna tasted so fishy that I almost vomited. I ended up throwing most of the food away, which was disappointing and felt like a waste of money. The only thing we kept was the shrimp tempura roll,  it was just okay. My little one liked it, but it's not something I would personally order again. I do understand this is a newer business and there may still be some kinks to work out. Because my first experience was so good, I would consider visiting again... just not anytime soon.

We got three rolls for 14.95. My daughter always gets vegetable fried rice so we got an order of that. This time she tried something new and got shrimp gyoza as well. She also ordered a California roll. We came with one of her friends and she got a fried soft shell crab roll. I just went with my standard spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls. Food came out pretty quick. It's nice when you are hungry and don't have to wait long. All of the food was delicious. My daughter and her friend are both fans.

It was probably the freshest sushi bowl. I've had in a long time and it was absolutely delicious. The mango was fresh and sweet, but not overly sell. The salmon was just the right amount of fatty and seasoned beautifully and the rice was absolutely perfect. The buns were incredible. The duck was crispy. The scallions were crunchy and the bun was soft and delicious. The cashew dish was my husband and according to him it was divine. He absolutely loved asparagus and it was fresh and crisp and crunchy and the house salad was very, very nice and fresh as well. Would recommend this place 1000% and from everything I've heard the service is phenomenal. Can't wait to be there in person at some point since today, we did takeout and I've seen the place in passing. It always looks clean and inviting.

As a…read moreteenager, my friends and I used to come here for our little "date nights," and all these years later, the food still hits just like the old days. What makes Ginza so special isn't just the food (though trust me, it's always fresh, flavorful, and affordable) -- it's the people. The staff has always treated me like family, and I've had the privilege of watching them push through tough times, even surviving COVID without ever losing their heart or raising prices unfairly. That kind of dedication is rare. On my most recent visit, everything was delicious as always, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out they now serve Boba Tea! My server made me one to try, and it was the perfect touch to an already amazing meal. Ginza will always be one of my favorite staples in Baltimore -- a true gem that has stood the test of time. If you want great food, genuine people, and a place that feels like family, this is it.

Let me say their sushi was not fresh and flavorless, but it was rice heavy and had a foul taste. We sat in"the sushi room", which resembles a sterile school cafeteria, about 7 tables. We were given soups that tasted like chicken broth and also a complimentary plate of California Roll (to fill us up). Not good. At all. When our sushi arrived, it was so full of rice. The fish wasn't fresh. The flavors didn't work together. Just not good. At all. The server was OK. Between his mid- hallway vaping and sweating on our table, to his dropping the.
