    An immense amount of sushi.

10/10 recommend. The food was insanely fresh and flavorful (especially the sushi). I am a sushi connoisseur and their grand opening lived up to the hype! Dylan and Kaya were both amazing waiters (we sat at the bar) and the interior is beautiful. Do not listen to reviews left by people unsatisfied with wait times (on their grand opening) as it was well worth the trip! Will be back.

Bad service. Rude staff. Food came out cold and small and taxed portions. I will not be back.

I ended up getting a bento tray and Mongolian beef. Everything was realy good and every feeling. Great Asian cuisine for a cheat day and overall quality of the food was very good. Babies crying, people jumbled everywhere, and a buffet setup that was super packed together near everything else. The good: host sat me quickly and my server was polite and super quick. I guess they got this down to a science? The bad: everything else. How the heck are these reviews high? This place was packed but I felt like if I coughed, it would be all over my neighbor and the food. It was a cluster f. I did the buffet. While they had a lot of options, it was jam packed together. And you bumped into people trying to squeeze through some areas. The sushi was mediocre. The sweet and sour chicken was off. The fried rice wasn't warm. Even my tap water tasted funny. I couldn't finish my hot sake because it tasted off. The wasabi and ginger even looked funky (I will say the wasabi had a nice kick). Best part of my meal was leaving. The miso soup was the only decent part. I should have learned my lesson from previous Asian fusion places but I guess I trusted the reviews on this one. It's clear to me; a lot of people don't have an educated palate.

What I found was Sara(h). While I waited, we got to talking, and somewhere between the small talk and the wait, we bonded over the Penang braised beef, which, as it turns out, is a favorite for both of us. We agreed on the bigger truth too: Asian cuisine simply never fails you. Funny how a shared plate and a good conversation can turn a rough week around. Sara(h), thank you. You took an ordinary order and made it the highlight of my week, and trust me, I needed that. The food was unforgettable, but you were the best part of the whole thing. At this point, the beef is just a bonus. You were an absolute delight. Until next order.

We started with generous portions of the poke nachos and gator bites. The nachos were a wonderful mix of tuna and avocado on crispy, thin wonton chips. The gator bites were well cooked and came with a delicious remoulade. Next we enjoyed the blackened fish tacos and donkey on crack. The tacos were the star here and we'll return to get more! Donkey on crack is amazing and rich, good for sharing. We finished with a yummy bread pudding and excellent key lime pie, the crust and bite were perfection. This was all served to us by the lovely Gia, who encouraged us to write a review. We said Chuck's won restaurant week for us! We shared their mixed nigiri and sashimi dish with rice, which was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. We also tried a breaded white fish entrée served over a bed of asparagus, and it was excellent -- crispy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Nicole enjoyed a local IPA, and we kept the rounds of water flowing. The restaurant is a few blocks from the Capital on the subdivision of an office park. It's very nice inside. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service made the experience even better. Chuck's Fish is absolutely worth a stop if you're looking for great seafood and warm hospitality.
