Sushi Bowl+ is my FAVORITE place for poke in Charlotte. A friend introduced the place to me and I've been hooked since. It's a small spot tucked away in the same shopping center as Pio Pio in Dilworth. The first time I visited, it did take me a few minutes to find it. It is next to Charlotte Running Co. The setup is similar to Chipotle where you can build your own bowl or choose from suggested combinations. Their ingredients are always fresh and the HUGE plus is that they don't upcharge or limit toppings! It's a great healthy option! I usually order DoorDash from here and the bowls have been consistently great. If you're a poke fan, I highly recommend Sushi Bowl+ :)

I love that I can get tuna and salmon in this bowl and that the fish is fresh tasting. The owner is also very kind and often in shop. I typically get food to go from here after a workout and it sustains me for the day!

Been wanting to try new poke spots and came across this one that was in proximity to where I lived. I spent roughly $14 for a 2 scoop bowl that was packed to the brim. I loved the fast, friendly service and they were not shy on the serving scoops. What I like about this place is not only the abundant choices of toppings, but also having pickled radish as an option. I have not seen this anywhere else that I've been to so far, so that is a plus. I liked that the seaweed salad and masago is not an additional premium as compared to other places so, another plus. Overall, for the price of what I got, this is a solid place and I will come back again.

This was our second time here and we can say, easily some of the best plates we have ever had. We…read moredid The Treatment and it was amazing! Our favorite dish was the brown butter shrimp and the scallop risotto. Many dishes have flavor combinations that you may not think pair well, but it works! The wagyu beef with sweet potato and currant was delicious, the fries are some of the best I've ever had, and the drinks are great as well. Perfect place for a date night, night out with friends, or happy hour with coworkers. 10/10

We originally…read morethought we were walking into a nice restaurant with a strong focus on seafood, but boy were we wrong. For starters, they have one of the most creative and whimsical cocktail programs we have ever seen! They have a menu where you pick a "vibe" or feeling, and they essentially surprise you with a secret cocktail to match your mood. Our server, who's name was ironically Fin, went above and beyond to explain everything to us and made service extremely personable. The food was amazing, which is no surprise as it seems every restaurant in the Dressler portfolio also known as Rare Roots Hospitality, goes above and beyond with their flavors, execution, and care passed down from their family recipes. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to jazz up their typical dining experience, as this place delivers all the bang! The Oysters Rockefeller, the Burrata, the Calamari, the Heart of Ribeye, and the Lamb Rigatoni were all a hit with our family!! And you absolutely have to try their cheesecakes, as I would put their cheesecakes against anyone's in the city!!! We will be back!

Great poke spot!…read more Came on Thursday to grab poke to go. They were super friendly and hospitable when my bride was asking questions, and offered her the chance to sample. The flexibility in ordering the amount of protein portion for BYOB and the unlimited options for toppings was right down our alley. They were so accommodating for my bride, asking her if she wanted items on the side for items she was unsure (she goes to poke because I like it :) We both really enjoyed our bowls and this is our new "go to" for poke. Navigation to get a parking spot could be a challenge, but once you figure it out...it's fine.

I spotted an ad for Koibito on Facebook for BOGO poke bowls. So when Mrs. K. said she wanted poke,…read morewe headed to Koibito. Parking here is interesting. There are a few street spots for takeout and then a garage that seems to require payment. I never did figure that out. Poke was great. We tried the "First Timer's Bowl" and the "Tuna Bowl", both of which were good portions with a nice variety of flavor and texture with a good portion of fish. You can also build your own. Prices were decent considering that this is a few ounces of sushi-grade fish with lots of toppings. A nice meal, very enjoyable, perhaps a little steep if you were actually buying two. But with the BOGO? Yes, that's pretty darned awesome and now that we've been here, we'll be back. [Review 2394 of 2024 - 3853 in North Carolina - 23407 overall]

Bestie and I was meeting friends for a b-day dinner. We drove by the storefront and it looked…read morealmost empty for it to be 8pm on a Saturday night. We parked in the back parking deck where there is parking for the restaurant/retail. We arrived early for the reservation and since this is our first time so of course we are reading reviews in the car. After some belly rolls, tears and a ton if "OMGs" "WTFs" from reading all the 1 reviews we worked up the courage to go inside and wait for the rest of party at the bar. We took the status down and walked pass the store front. There looked like they had two large parties seated and a few ppl at the bar. We walked in and there was no hostess. There was a party gathering in the wait area. So We just sat at the bar. There was a couple already sitting there as well waiting on food. Bartender did greet us. After the she got the orders of the 5 ppl in front of us she came and got my drink order. In the meantime, a line was forming at the hostess table. I saw one of our friends, so I called him over and told him that there was no hostess, and there appears to only be three waitresses who are currently busy with two large parties and they have a party that's waiting and have apparently been here already 30 minutes. I asked him how many was in our party. He said eight I said great There's eight chairs here at the bar this is where we are sitting or we are never eating. And let me tell you it was the best decision ever our bartender Maddie was making drinks for the entire restaurant so we was patient with her and just told her whenever she got a minute to come get our drinks order and after she did that, I told her we would let her know when we was ready to order our food. It did take her some time to get back to us, but we was definitely patient and still having a great time. The drinks kept coming!! As things slowed and the first two parties were starting to leave Maddie was able to party with us, we sang dance ate and had a great time at the bar. Y'all tip her good if you ever get Maddie as your bartender. In the midst of it all watching some of the one star reviews unfold before our eyes was the most entertaining thing ever. The part that was waiting to be seated have reservations at 8 and wasn't seated till almost 9....maddie was being hosted to the line and told ppl they was short staff and the wait might be long.... People walked out because there was no host....Lastly, The large party of 20 saw that they were being charged 20% gratuity in another 20%...the waitress tried to dismiss the father and act ignorant because her English was bad...dad brought complaint to Maddie but honestly what can she do? It's the owners responsibility. I'll sum up the food by saying I stuck to sushi and sashimi I order one of the sashimi specials and the ballentyne roll. (Honestly can you go wrong with something you don't have to cook?) the rest of our party ordered habachi and I heard no complaints. The food was good nothing extravagant prices are average to other places I've been. Management do better!!
