I cannot recommend Caitlin highly enough for your wedding hair and makeup needs. Starting from the…read morevery beginning of the process, she was communicative and easy to work with. She gave me so much time on the day of my trial, honoring my desire to try different looks and take feedback about what I liked and didn't like, and even was willing to do another trial just so I could experience multiple options of an updo vs. a glam wave. I already loved the time I had spent with Caitlin in her salon but the energy that she and Megan brought on the morning of the wedding was more than I could have asked for. They made everyone feel so comfortable, including members of my bridal party that didn't have experience getting their hair done or felt a little awkward. They were so receptive to different ideas and made everyone's hair dreams come true. They were incredibly efficient and we got done in the perfect amount of time. And the hair and makeup itself! My updo was exquisite and lasted all night long with no problems. Similarly, the makeup looked gorgeous throughout the night. I felt like an absolute princess and I am so grateful to Caitlin and Megan for being a part of my day.

My first meeting with her she made sure to know exactly what I wanted. She also is the first stylish to embrace my thick long hair and not want to overcharge and make it like it's an inconvenience. Her space is welcoming and her and Meg are just absolutely amazing people. They will make you laugh and feel absolutely stunning. I'll never go anywhere else.

Everything she was doing and why, and every product she used and it's benefits. Although I left with my hair about 4 inches shorter than I would have preferred, my curls are shiny and healthy with the curliest spirals and full of bounce. The salon itself was clean and decorated well. Staff was pleasant. I was offered a water bottle while I sat under the dryer. I will be back based on the location, prices, and staff. But this time I'll be sure to voice better that I want my hair LONG and not short!

During the appointment, the hair dryer was so hot that it burned my daughter's ears. My daughter is extremely shy and tends not to speak up when something hurts or makes her uncomfortable. She didn't say anything while we were there, but after we left, she burst into tears, and that was when I realized her ears had been burned. I did not bring it to the salon's attention because we had already left when I became aware of what had happened. Despite that experience, I decided to give the salon another chance and brought her in to have braids done by the owner. From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome. She did not introduce herself, and when she asked what we wanted, her facial expression and attitude immediately made us feel like we were bothering her. We wanted braids that formed into buns, but because of the attitude we received from the jump, I was honestly afraid to even ask for any type of intricate braiding design. I already felt uncomfortable asking for anything beyond something simple. My daughter was in tears throughout the appointment. I asked her what was wrong and specifically informed the stylist that she is tender-headed. I then sat there watching her rip through my daughter's fine, curly hair with a small rat tail comb, pulling through knots rather than gently detangling them. It caused so much breakage. While doing this, she proceeded to tell me that my daughter "didn't have curly hair," all while combing through her curls in a way that seemed to create even more tangles. I was also left standing there for about five minutes before another employee - not the owner - came over and offered me somewhere to sit. The actual braiding took roughly 10 minutes and felt incredibly rushed. There was no attention to detail, and it felt like she was speeding through my daughter's hair because we were a burden and she wanted us out of her chair. After seeing my daughter in tears, you would think she would take a gentler approach. We paid $80 plus a tip for a hairstyle that does not look professionally done and an experience that once again ended with my daughter in tears. What bothers me most isn't even the money. It's that I gave this salon a second chance after what happened during her first visit, only for my daughter to have another upsetting experience. A child should be able to sit in a salon chair and feel comfortable, cared for, and safe.
