If youre looking for a unique foodie experience in Edinburgh, Scotland. You must make a visit, it is an amazing indian scottish fusion restaurant located very close to st andrews square.
When we walked in we felt a very chic but cozy aesthetic. We were greeted right away and even though we didnt have a reservation ( def recommend making one on their website) they were able to give us a table.
It is a locally owned restaurant runned by the husband and wife who are not only very passionate and kind people but also amazing with their culinary styles as well as their service.
For drinks, they had such a wide variety, we stuck to lassis. My partner got the mango lassi and i got their special surya lassi. Lassis were very delicious.
For starters we were so intrigued by the Indian fusion appetizers. We chose the Smoked Salmon Mango Avocado Salad- Scottish smoked salmon served with fresh mango and avocado, cucumber and spinach dressed with lime and chilli dressing as well as the Poppadom Nachos-Mini poppadoms layered with nacho cheese, garlic chilli sauce, tamarind chutney and spring onion with the added haggis. Both were so delicious in their own ways. We were so in love with how fresh the salmon and haggis was.
For mains we got the butter chicken with naan as well as the Masoor Dahl with rice. We were very full with everything and it was also incredibly affordable. We were a bit in shock with how good the food was so definitely check them out if youre in the area read more
