I was a bit sceptical about using an on-line provider to get my energy certificate. I am glad my fears were unfounded. The process was straight forward. The assessor arrived on time and was very helpful with my questions. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. read more

If there was an option to rate this company with zero stars I would. Firstly, the booking process is not the easiest and then my survey date was changed twice which caused me not to have my house on the market for the date I wanted. Also, I asked this company why they did not display the RICS logo anywhere and they advised that you did not have to be regulated by RICS to carry out such reports. I find this terrifying that companies can pretend to be chartered surveyors when they are not! Do not use I had to get to big firm to do my report. read more

This is the sister company of home sale online. This company conned me by pretending to be on rightmove and are NOT!!!! Also, their home report has no mortgage valuation and solicitor advised not worth the paper it is written on. THEY ARE NOT RICS REGULATED. read more

This tiny, white fronted shop could very easily be missed. In fact, I walked right past in despite…read morehaving the name and address written down in front of me. I'd like to think this was not me being especially dumb, but the shop front being rather inoffensive. No matter, this has been to date the only estate agent from which I have bought a flat. Indeed, up until the day I moved into my newly purchased flat I had no idea where this was. Rather worrying, I know. Anyway, I was working from 8am-6pm (8pm on Thursday) in two jobs, seven days a week for about a fortnight a few summers ago; to cover some lucky devil of a boss who'd left and not bothered to hire any extra staff. As you can imagine, this made it extremely difficult to continue my property hunt and I ended up doing most of it through an old (and quite smelly) yellow pages and the work's telephone. Therefore, I was ecstatic when a lovely woman from here called me up. She'd spoken to me earlier in the week and kept a hold of my details. Which - unlike many estate agents - she'd actually bothered to use when something matching my specifications came in. So, from my limited experience I would give this place a major thumbs up. They were very polite, helpful and managed to do everything over the phone. They also kept my details and actually used them. Additionally, they were also good enough to talk the seller into giving me an 8pm viewing on a rather nice June evening due to my hectic work schedule. Small, but perfectly capable of pulling punches well above their estate agent weight.

If it were possible to give them a lower rating than 1 star I would. DO NOT LET WITH THEM THEY WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE A LIVING HELL (and leave faeces in your toilet).

Did my home report and have been told it is worthless. Surveyors who do home reports must be RICS registeted. I spoke to RICS to make a complaint this year and was told they had been expelled. SO they should not even be doing Home Report. I have complained to trading standards regarding this mob. Avoid. read more

Delighted with the service I received from Survey Scotland. Home Report was a reasonable price and the contact was good throughout. Staff were very helpful in explaining what I needed to provide and what wasn't necessary. No complaints at all. Would highly recommend! read more

Great service. I was advised by Corum to use their surveyor & pay over £600 for my home report. I did my research and Survey Scotland charged me £215. Corum didn't know anything about home reports at all, just wanted the cash. read more
