I'd like to think this was not me being especially dumb, but the shop front being rather inoffensive. No matter, this has been to date the only estate agent from which I have bought a flat. Indeed, up until the day I moved into my newly purchased flat I had no idea where this was. Rather worrying, I know. Anyway, I was working from 8am-6pm (8pm on Thursday) in two jobs, seven days a week for about a fortnight a few summers ago; to cover some lucky devil of a boss who'd left and not bothered to hire any extra staff. As you can imagine, this made it extremely difficult to continue my property hunt and I ended up doing most of it through an old (and quite smelly) yellow pages and the work's telephone. Therefore, I was ecstatic when a lovely woman from here called me up. She'd spoken to me earlier in the week and kept a hold of my details. Which - unlike many estate agents - she'd actually bothered to use when something matching my specifications came in. So, from my limited experience I would give this place a major thumbs up. They were very polite, helpful and managed to do everything over the phone. They also kept my details and actually used them. Additionally, they were also good enough to talk the seller into giving me an 8pm viewing on a rather nice June evening due to my hectic work schedule. Small, but perfectly capable of pulling punches well above their estate agent weight.

Around three years ago my wife, flat mate and i were looking for some new accommodation. We stumbled across a place advertised by these folk and jumped at the chance for a viewing. In short the place was great and we decided to apply for it and to our joy were informed that the owner had chosen our application over others and would be happy to offer us a lease (not sure of this is the normal procedure, seemed odd to us but hey.) So, with an entry date agreed upon, boxes packed, current lease terminated and a 6 months pregnant wife i jaunted off to Northern Ireland on business. As soon as i touched down in NI i received a call from these guys informing me that the landlord had pulled out of the lease....we were due to move in the next day. Furious phone calls ensued which in the end left us frustrated and despite our very best intentions and planning, homeless. What did we receive as compensation?....an apology, and the offer of a flat at the other end of the city, for 3 months......now i know its not possible to insert a whole building into your bottom, but i kindly asked them to attempt to do so. Anyway. I know this event may well have been a terrible mistake and very much a one off but hey, its a pretty bad mistake to make!! For this reason i would advise great caution if you do any dealings with these guys.....and if truth be told, a 1 star rating is far more than they should have received over.

The two people I dealt with( a blousey older blonde Isobelle and a smarmy younger guy called Craig) could not have been nicer until I signed the contract then it was ripp off time. Part of my deposit was kept for some charge they were very vague about a further £65 !!! was kept for a supposed blue tac mark on one of the walls when l asked to return to the flat to be shown this mark I was ignored.Do not use this company they do not know or want to know the meaning of fairplay or good customer service.
