Bottom line is that Bellingham's efforts are solely directed towards increasing resident population with little thought on quantity of life/services for existing residents. The facility was clean and the staff was was very pleasant. I want to especially thank Tony, Marie and Nefertiti who went beyond to make sure all his needs and concerns were addressed. Everyone we met from admissions to receptionist, nursing staff, therapist and social worker could not be more genuine, caring people who treat every patient with respect and kindness. This quality of staff made a difference for my brother who after his stroke thrived in their care. Marple Gardens is a very clean, quiet facility. My brother loved the outdoor courtyard where he could socialize and enjoy the love from a visiting pet. The communication from all staff is exceptional, and they will call the family with any questions. After an appalling experience at a highly rated nearby hospital, we found renewed faith in the health industry at Marple Gardens. Everyone (family and patients) is treated with respect and dignity.
