I loved this place the work out are cool and hip. The Music was great. The only thing I don't like is they don't have a shower or a locker room. However the class was so great I still give them four stars. They have a free parking lot. Everybody that I met when I went was very nice and helpful. The class I went to had people of all different shapes sizes. They were really great about making new people feel welcome. I went with a coworker who has never done a cycling class, and doesn't really work out very much and she absolutely loved it.

I wanted to try some classes and this place has great reviews but honestly i found them to be unwelcoming and not very inclusive.

I started in August and I'm a big big fan. I was a bigger woman, 40, and couldn't run for more than 5 minutes without dying. Josh worked with me to build confidence first. It was great to know someone believed that I could. He has never asked me to do anything that he didn't believe I could do: which has changed my life. I'm working out three days a week with a group of people that are amazingly kind and diverse. I've kept at it - and it's not a pain. It's now just part of my life. I'm down some weight, feel better, and am more confident. I also have a brand new muscle crease in my bicep that's never been there before.

Josh is awesome, so supportive and encouraging. The gym is always clean and organized (not true of many I've been in). Classes are small and each person gets the attention they need. Girlfriends! Weight lifting might not seem like something you would consider, especially if you're older, but it's the best thing you can do for your bones. Josh will set up a program for you that fits your abilities. He loves working with older people to help them reach their goals, like building strength to help you manage everyday tasks. Today was my first time at Lifetime and it was a great experience! I came on a friend's guest pass…read morefor the 9:30am AMP Cycle class taught by MaryBeth M. Overall, the facility was large and clean from the small portion of it I saw. It seemed like everyone on the weight floors had plenty of personal space. We were in the cycle studio downstairs, and it was beautiful and clean with probably about 50-100 bikes. Before I review the class, I'll put my fitness level here: I workout 6 days a week, 4 of those days are strength training/lifting paired with cardio or walking. I take one Orangetheory class a week, and normally add in a pilates/full body day. I'd say I'm in great shape, but am not very coordinated. Today's workout replaced my normal pilates. The AMP Cycle class was a great time, and it definitely has to do with the amazing instructor, MaryBeth. You could tell that the 9:30am Saturday class was full of regulars by the way she greeted and chatted with everyone. My friends introduced me and she was eager to help if I needed anything. My friends helped me adjust my bike and get me into position since I had never taken a spin class before. The class itself was the perfect level of endurance cardio challenge for me! I was able to take little to no breaks and keep up pretty well. Since I'm very uncoordinated and not great with rhythm, some of the moves on the bike were hard but easy to modify so I didn't go flying off the bike (I did have a couple of close calls lol). The music choice was a super fun mix of pop, hip hop, and EDM - all super upbeat and awesome to workout to. There were fun lights as well, which kept me motivated and having fun. Again, what took the class to the next level was MaryBeth. She's a fun motivator and easy to follow - one thing I appreciated is she never made references to pushing harder to look better - she always made it very self-fulfilling and about your heart and mind, without getting too soul-cycle-y. She even said an amazing heartfelt thank you at the end, which you could tell she meant - especially in a room full of regulars. On my way out, I also stopped at the Lifetime Cafe for a protein shake. I ordered the body builder (protein & creatine) with vanilla powder, strawberry & banana. It was a great little smoothie, but the protein was a little chalky. It also felt a little overpriced being $10 - but I got the vibe that Lifetime is a little more upscale so I understood the price. Overall, I would definitely come back for one of these spin classes or try another class if my friend has a guest pass! I personally do not need a full Lifetime membership at this stage in my life, but it's definitely something I would consider in the future.

There are a number of people who work out here regularly. They are friendly to others and enjoy the facility. The staff seem to know almost everyone by name. All these issues around memberships, quitting Anytime, etc., are outside my purview. I would say it seems rather naïve to expect a business to let a customer go without an effort to find out what the problem is and fix it... Also, what's with all the out of towner reviews? If you visit a place once or twice, I'm not sure you are positioned to do a reasonable evaluation. Whatever. I go here all the time. I like it.

It basically costs you an extra month of membership, once per year, to help pay for new equipment. Except I have never seen a new piece of equipment in the year I have belonged. Things are often broken or out of order. Additional beef--There is only one recumbent bike. The machinery is way too close together, So you have to worry about being sweat on by the person next to you. Management needs to keep track of who is not wiping down equipment. And then they need to talk to them about wiping it down. It's always the sweatiest guys, too. I have never noticed management cleaning anything, and I feel like if the members aren't wiping machines down, and They aren't willing to confront them, they need to be following them and cleaning up after them.
