I was pleasantly surprised at the selection, prices, and quality of merchandise sold here at…read moreHibbett Sports. In fact, I just learned about this place a few weeks ago, even though it has been in this location for quite some time. Probably because it's tucked away in a quiet corner at Cobblestone Village. I had even frequented the Petco located two doors down a number of times and never even SEEN this place. Before if I was looking for some sporting goods, I would drive up to Jacksonville to visit Dick's, so I'm glad that we have something local. This store doesn't have the space to carry the vast amount of items that a Dick's type store does, however they do cram a pretty impressive selection into a small space. They offer a number of shoes, from casual to running shoes and cleats, for women, men, and kids. A lot of Nike's and Air Jordan's- at surprisingly low prices. They also offer up a decent selection of clothing items, from Nike to Under Armour, and they have a nice selection of Gators, Seminoles, and Hurricanes gear, as well as some baseball hats. The sports equipment is the main reason to visit, however- they have tons of gear for baseball, softball, tennis, MMA and boxing, weightlifting, running, yoga, volleyball, lacrosse, and more. I was skeptical I would find lacrosse balls and weightlifting gloves in this place (which was the main reason for my visit) and I found both. At great prices. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable- this store wasn't very busy when I was in, so they were able to talk and help another family and get them what they needed. This is a great store, I think it's the location that's keeping them from being incredibly busy, however that might be a good thing- I will definitely be back here anytime I need anything sporting equipment related. Great choice for St. Augustine residents.

I dropped my son's backpacks, lunchboxes, and polos to be embroidered with the school logo on 7/16. With previous experience working in an embroidery shop, this process seemed very rushed and not personal at all. Tell them your name, pick between a block or cursive font, and color choice. Didn't ask me about placement, how big I wanted the name, etc. I was told 2-3 weeks turnaround time and that they would call me when it was done. I knew I had plenty of time before the start of school on 8/10. Yesterday was the end of the 3 week mark and I called to get an ETA on when it would be done. The man that answered the phone asked for my information and then came back to tell me it was not ready. I questioned why as this was at the end of the quoted timeframe. He then went into telling me that they embroider for 5 schools and everyone wants their order ready. What does this have to do with me? He also made a sly mark about people waiting until the last minute, which I did not given 2-3 weeks turnaround time would be ready before school. He was incredibly rude, with a smart tone and wouldn't give me any answers. He just kept repeating "we will call you when your order is ready." I asked him if I should call again tomorrow and his response was "no, do not call tomorrow" in a horrible tone. I then asked him if he could look up when I dropped it off, he placed me on hold and after 10 minutes I called back. Seems like he just wanted to get rid of me. A girl answered the phone the 2nd time and was able to tell me it wouldn't be done today, but would be the following day. This is all I was needing was an understanding of when my order would be ready, not to wait for a call!!! I get that they are stressed during a busy season, however as someone who is going off of what I was told and spend $140 I would expect a much higher level of customer service. My husband just picked up the order and the font on the backpack and lunchboxes are LAUGHABLE!!! They are so small, and not at all where I told them to place the names. You can barely see them over the graphics and I pointed to much bigger font size on the paper sheet. The backpack was marked with a piece of tape (not a white pencil) so I'm sure it was ripped off. I'm so very disappointed in this experience and the quality of my order after spending so much money. I've received better from the mall embroiderers! GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

I happened upon this little shop while walking the shopping district in downtown St. Augustine -…read morethe member of the staff working was very inviting and offered to remove anything I may be interested in from the glass cases. This shop is filled with what I can only describe as man-cave oddities including specialty cutlery, metal models and just an array of things you don't see everyday, as well as some provisions e.g. unique coffee blends. It's not a shop that I could spend hours exploring but it definitely captured my interest long enough to look at all their offerings. There is a lot of inventory in a relatively small space. The store is very organized and the staff if very friendly so if you do visit there's no need leaving without having all your questions answered...

I was at this awesome little shop this last Saturday, 4/22- fantastic inventory for a smaller shop. There are a few shops in the area with knife selection but they're utterly inferior (but fun to check out) compared to this shop. The one thing that showed me that this shop even existed was the awesome sign that says something along the lines of, "manly toys, manly hobbies"- I had to drop in to see if the sign lived up to its claim. As I've said, I was very impressed with the offerings they've got at this shop. Wasn't just that though- both of the employees on shift were absolutely top-notch. One of them was working on a tool or busy with something iirc but when I walked by him he greeted me and told me to please let him know if there's anything he can help me with. A few minutes later I took him up on it and asked if I could take a closer look at a nice camo para 2 I had my eye on. He dropped what he was doing and said, "oh absolutely brother, no trouble at all". Love the attitude. We chatted for a good 5-10 min, the guy is super knowledgeable.. steels/general metallurgy, guns, actions, history, etc.- the guy knew darn near everything. I forgot to ask his name but he's the guy who had a grandpa who worked on design for one of the big firearm manufacturers back in the day. I had just finished eating a big meal so I was a little sleepy- wish I remembered which manufacturer as that would help identify the guy (he and I were looking at one of the bright yellow serrated H2 knives that had a depressed glass-breaker at the butt of the knife's handle- we were both confused as neither of us had ever seen that mechanism in a knife before. It pops out when you squeeze the handle with the blade closed). He was great- best interaction I've had with an employee/salesperson in a good while- he definitely belongs in sales/customer service as he was warm, welcoming, very knowledgeable, conversational, etc. I genuinely enjoyed conversing with him and will definitely be back to this shop primarily because of him (it's hard to find good help nowadays- someone who actually cares about something other than tiktok, especially in the younger generations... I should know as I'm a part of those younger gens) but also because of the solid product selection. Anyway, there was a skinnier gentleman working behind the counter as well- he was great and very helpful. TL;DR : Come visit this shop- I promise you will absolutely not regret it! Great selection (Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw, Microtech, CRKT, etc), great staff, and solid location. I'll be back very soon! The only thing I'd like to see different is for them to start carrying Zero Tolerance. They're absolutely fantastic knives, rock-solid and they use great steels.
