This location had everything I needed- ladders, brushes, rollers, drop cloths, tape and a friendly staff who answered all my questions and made recommendations. They offered an extension on paint sale price if i bought the first batch of cans before the sale ended, as they track my purchase and colors in their system. I walked in and I was very pleased to see how clean, roomy and well organized this store was. There was a gentleman working behind the main counter, who asked me if I needed any help. I told him that I was just looking for a few things, I was ok...thank you..... Sure enough, I found the adhesive and the sandpaper section fairly quickly and I got what I needed in a matter of seconds....It does make a difference when you go to a store where everything is well marked, laid out and organized. The Sherwin-Williams company, founded in 1866 has more than 4,800 stores in the Americas and over 60,000 employees worldwide that provide the customers with assistance on anything related to paint and small home projects. So, off we went to the store to select some samples for the house. Since this store is just about paints and stains, I felt they had a far superior color selection than other hardware stores. I mean, who knew that you could have 35+ different shades of white. We spent about an hour in the store looking for shades for the house as well as the trim. The staff was super friendly, but not overly opinionated. In the end, they helped us to select the final colors based on the look we were going for. Samples are huge, and run about $5. If you are looking for exterior paint, you may want to buy a quart so you can test it with the correct finish - as samples only come in satin. However, two quarts and a sample size ran us around $35. Thought that was a great deal! They have sales often, so make sure you look up the deals before you decide to shop. Would totally visit Sherwin-Williams again for home projects - easy to shop and super friendly.

There is also a set of booklets to give you color combination ideas to work with. Unlike the Big Depot... which just has color-chips out on display which are the 'trendy' or 'popular'... our good friend Moore has a HUGH collection of colors, all properly organized by hue and intensity. Much easier to find a complement, or analog. This is a NO-PRESSURE environment, and they will mix everything to order right on the spot. Need delivery? They can handle that too? Need advise on how long to wait after wet stucco work? They have the answer and the right products to use, so your paint does not peel off after a weekend of hard work. This is the first and last place to go for paint.

He was also very ready to answer any questions and concerns I had. The other stores wanted to sell me a Quart of satin EXTRA white. I didn't want to have to pay a Quart since I only needed to do some testing and I was going to be paying for about 20 Gallons of SATIN Superpaint when it came time for me to paint. Steve at this Sherwin Willliams store on powerline sold me Resilience Satin EXTRA white for the price of a Sample. No other store made that offer to me. A minor inconvenience at worst, I had my staff call down to OBS to leave a note on my file that the next time we ordered new prescriptions we would prefer them to be in pad form, but that the loose prescriptions with this order were no big deal. The next day, Howard Owen himself arrived at our office in Boynton Beach (which is not exactly around the corner from Pompano) to pick up the incorrect order, and to apologize for the error. I just received my new pads this morning, only a couple of days later. I am amazed that this level of customer service still exists today. This type of customer service is what fosters steadfast loyalty to a business, and they have absolutely won my continued patronage.
