My kitchen now looks amazing! The cost was much lower than replacement would have been and much less disruptive. Loved the level of communication and attention to detail.

NHance of Jacksonville (Florida) is the best local company we have contracted in the nearly 20…read moreyears we've lived in Jacksonville, Florida, and we have done a great deal of renovation on our 1996 home during those years. A 2006-2007 renovation included a complete redo of the interior, an expansion of the living space by 300 sf and an additional roofed patio of 15' x 18'. That now 18 year old remodel included custom kitchen cabinets that needed to be refreshed and the stained cherry wood color lightened. The company owner, Cary Cosgrove, is probably one of the most likable, sincere and dedicated owner/contractors we have ever met and employed. He explains the work process very clearly, sets expectations and meets the standards he promises to deliver. Our large kitchen took a week, start to finish, started on the day promised and there was NEVER a lull in the work; his crew(s) arrived everyday of the week to complete the project when promised. Additionally, his employees are as congenial and quality oriented as the company owner/boss. One impressive aspect of their work is the ABSENCES of dust and fumes from the work. A tent is built around the kitchen area (and our kitchen is open to the entire center of the house) with exhausting of the paint fumes to the outside when the cabinet boxes are painted. The cabinet doors are taken to NHance's production shop to be painted in a paint booth for a dust-free, perfect finish. Before the first in-house cabinet box is painted, a thorough taping-off and shielding is done to protect surrounding surfaces from overspray, which took almost half of the first day that includes removing the cabinet doors. After all the painting is complete and the doors reinstalled, a large UV light is used to scan all the surfaces to activate the hardening process of the paint. Coincidently, friends in Atlanta were having their cabinets "resurfaced" at the same time and their contractor did all the work inside their home. Dust and paint odor permeated the house that was obtrusive. When the job was finished Cary promised ongoing customer support, "Just because the work is finished that doesn't mean we will not provide customer service if you have any problems with the work." For the paint to "cure" takes about 18 to 20 days, so the Team Leader, Art who is outstanding, left us with two pints of the colors used on our cabinets to touch-up any nicks that we may cause over time. That notwithstanding, Cary said if we have something we can't easily touch-up we should call the shop to have it taken care of properly. Quality work, great results and outstanding customer service require a dedicated owner and employees. Those characteristics do not cost less than the competition, but we do not feel we overpaid for the work received. Other cabinet refinishers may be less expensive than NHance but the process can't compare and their results will likely hold-up for only a few years of daily living in a family home.

I faced a dilemma with an interior remodeling project. The problem was in the kitchen. The kitchen…read morecabinets were fairly new. The kitchen was really the only thing prior to buying the house that had been updated. I really did not want to replace them. However, what did remain in the kitchen was a very ugly utility type cabinet with glass doors. The cabinet was extremely useful, it just looked like it did not belong in the kitchen, it matched nothing else in the kitchen or the adjoining rooms in the house. I contacted kitchen cabinet distributors, installation companies, the original kitchen cabinet manufacturer to see if I could have something built to fit the space and match the cabinets. This type of custom cabinet is not what they do. Then I found Carolina Coastal Services. The price was very fair, the delivery estimate was reasonable, and they were willing to work with me in finding a custom solution. When the installation was complete, it was completed on schedule, even given the task of matching the existing cabinet design and finish. I was extremely pleased with the staff, and the finished product. I could not have been more pleased how this new cabinet marched so well, fit in, and enhanced the look of the interior of the house. I will call them again for any custom cabinet, furniture, or construction projects. Based on my experience with Carolina Coastal Services, I can recommend them for home projects. (photos attached)
