The top of the nightstand had some embedded stains and an uneven surface, which Mr. Ginn had to replace but at no extra cost. The dressers were in good condition and ready for restoration. It is apparent that Mr. Ginn takes pride in this work and is attentive to detail. The furniture was the original wood grain and Mr. Ginn painted them white and I cannot see the old wood tone. He also added new hardware, they now have a modern look. This family has been in business for many years and has refinished furniture for me and is still #1 in my book. I just knew without a doubt that I would need to replace an expensive sofa. We set up an appointment so he could examine the piece and make a determination and provide an estimate of damage. He called prior to confirm and promptly arrived ready to work. He THOROUGHLY EXAMINED all aspects and explained what it may have been. Long story short, a pencil !! Lol!! He could have very well charged me and I would NOT have been the wiser!!! Dealing with many contractors over the last 6 months that have blatantly overcharged, disappeared and/or work that was not up to standards of a novice it was refreshing to find HONESTY!! I scheduled a cleaning of the sofa and chairs and I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Also, noting he came with his mask and cleaned up the area he opened to inspect the furniture.
