He asked that I send him my address and that he would be in touch. Today, Jan 30, at 9:35 A.M., I get a call from an anonymous caller, It's Carlos. He didn't identify himself, he just started asking me questions. I stopped him and said that he didn't introduce or state who it is that I'm speaking to, he then identified himself and continued to try and interrogate me. He went on to mention that I had left a review. I left a google review that it was unprofessional after we made contact for him not to communicate his intentions. I'm waiting for a callback/text and a scheduling appointment and nothing. If he didn't want to accept the job, fine, be professional and say that. This man started saying facetious and insulting things about the black community. He stated the he doesn't work across the tracks in drug infested neighborhoods. I informed him that I will be updating my review to include his sentiments on the area, an area that our former mayor lives, along with nurses, educators like myself, and many other hard working people. This man had the unmitigated gall to say that he would call the police on me for harassment. I never contacted him beyond that initial phone and text on Wed, Jan 24th, that he requested of my address. This behavior is exactly why my initial review called him unprofessional, but at this juncture, it's beyond professionalism, it's problematic to say that about a community. I'm also fearful that someone who is supposed to run a professional business would call me from an anonymous number to harass me about my opinion. I will be filing a police report.

Our new bathroom was finished ahead of schedule and on budget. Me and more importantly, my wife, love the new bathroom. When Irma came through St. Simons, our house was hit by the storm surge. I was in Houston for the summer. I called Shawn and he agreed to serve as our single source to evaluate the damage and remodel our entire downstairs. Within 30 days, Shawn completed the remodel. He was hired to paint my house and I wished I went somewhere else. I am still finding stuff that isn't painted that should have been. He claims to take me to court and file a lien against the property. I say bring it on! After going back and forth with this man I no longer wanted him on my property. He's a joke and his work show's! If you go against my warning and hire this man get everything in writing. I did, please photos' and videos. I paid him and in cash and I have a photo. He gave me a fake receipt and claim I owed him which I paid plus 60$ for material and he ended up using all my material around the house. He claimed my water broke his pressure washer which I never saw and he never pressured washed my house. There wasn't a second coat of paint applied and he never used the primer I bought before paint. Just some more lies. He had me on the hook for almost 2 weeks before getting back to me. I realized after hiring him he wasn't the guy I intended to hire. He brung me a bogus receipt for material that I paid him, gave him and extra $60 for more material which he ended up using all my material I had around the house. I will post pictures in defense to his response! No he's trying to cost me money by lying! The house isn't a dump! I'm done!!! He promised to fill and sand to smooth out some area where the's damage and he didn't! He tried to charge me 100$ a piece per post. After verbally agreeing to include them in quote! He did a great job of aligning several doors. However, painting is another matter. When you paint…read moreyou also paint the trim around the windows installed on a door, requiring blue masking tape and time. He did not paint the windows trim, just the door(s) up to the trim. Sloppy, shoddy, and unprofessional. Similarly, he got paint on the tabby coating on both sides of the front door, and left paint missing from around the dead bolt. Then came the pocket doors fiasco. I approach this by stating what should have happened. First you inspect and remove one lock and see if it can be repaired and learn what fault exists, potentially precluding excess labor and time. Instead he went to Lowe's to obtain replacement locks, both of which he stated were seriously lacking substance. Yet, he elected to spend two hours boring out new frame openings to allow these new locks to be used. The only way to use the outer door lock is to engage it fully before shutting the door, a quirk, but it worked. The inner master bath lock was another matter. Hours after he left I used the toilet room and engaged that lock, the one never shown while he was present; it was wobbly, made a clicking sound when closing the door, was cheaply made, but it locked. When I tried to open it, it took me four minutes to open the door. I informed him this was unacceptable and these need to be replaced. I ordered replacement locks from Amazon, and kept his apprised of their arrival, so he could repair his mistakes. This never happened. He has no intention of fixing my doors after screwing up the framing. Thus, keep him away from painting doors and repairing locks on pocket doors.
