The food was fantastic!!! My only complaint is that it's (1) very overpriced and (2) the salsa promised was similar to the tostitos salsa you could buy. I was definitely expecting some pico de gallo type salsa. Service is super quick, we ordered on site and got our food within 5 minutes.

Stopped by after a day of kayak fishing. Seems to be a popular place. I had a fried beef taco and a shrimp taco. They were ok. The staff and service was nice enough. The dining space is nice and clean. The bathrooms are tiny but clean.

AMAZING, I LOVED EVERYTHING. the cashier is a little weird but I'll let it slide they didn't take off the lime sauce but still the place is very clean and nice environmentally friendly. please consider coming here. my sisters shifts are 10:30 to 4 on saturdays and sundays. she's blonde

Seems like Surf Taco locations are closing left and right. The hype has faded and all we are left with is bad taco's. I feel bad but this past experience was rough. The recent Yelp reviews don't look great either. The chicken tender taco may have been the only serviceable one and that is a stretch. The teriyaki taco was inedible. The steak one was ok and the traditional surf taco tasted very fishy. Chips with salsa weren't bad either. There was no flavor and the tacos seemed to be haphazardly thrown together. I wish them the best but don't think I will be back.

This is by far the best Surf Taco location, aeons ahead of Belmar in terms of service, food, and cleanliness.

Chips are 9 times out of 10 stale. Food is ok, needs any kind of salsa/hot sauce to give flavor.

We also have been coming to 10th ave for years and it's a favorite for the whole family. My wife and I have been coming since we were in college and now we bring our kids. Sure maybe the food has changed over the years and gotten a little more expensive but what hasn't? We love to come for some of their special nights like Quesadillas on Wednesdays or wings on Thursdays. Their "Baby Dilla" is an unbeatable deal for the kids, I think it is $4 for a small chicken and cheese quesadilla... and the staff is always super accommodating to our little ones! You know what you're getting at 10th ave, a cold beer, good wings, chill people, and a nice night out in Belmar we will keep coming back for years to come. Hope this 5 star review balances out a ridiculous 1 star review. Sincerely, A Yelping Hand

So good. We got the chips with salsa. Just know that the salsa has a kick to it! I got a burrito which was huge so the portions are no joke, but I also got medium salsa inside which was very hot - but I'm someone who can't handle spice or heat - so my burrito was sub par because I couldn't fully enjoy it.

We got a few different kinds of drinks some including margarita's and one was a kiwi flavor drink. I think it was awesome that they gave us the option for different kind of salted rims. They're mostly known for their shared plate concepts so we got several items and split everything. We got the tostadas which was an interesting plate of a couple different things, the nachos which I loved, the ceviche which was ok-not your typical ceviche and bit too spicy for me, the salad which I really liked, camerones which the table liked, the pork tacos which I heard were very spicy, the chicken tacos which were good and the steak which was hands down my favorite and the yuca mash was so yummy and different. For the steak, you can only get it medium rare or well done which I is 2 complete ends of the spectrum. We are medium people, so we ended up getting a medium rare. It was definitely a lot of food, but it's a good amount for all of us and it was a nice way to try the menu. I definitely will be back.

Ordered spicy margaritas, classic margaritas and sangria and were very happy with all of them. Food was delicious with one exception. Multiple orders of pork tacos cuz they're that good. Tostadas were top notch as well. Only disappointment was the chicharron. Avocado crema slaw that came with it was very good but pork was way too fatty. Came out pale white instead of crispy brown and tasted like it looked. Service by Liz was phenomenal. It was Easter so it was nice having the place not quite to ourselves but almost. My second time there and definitely worth a revisit. Sorry for the lack of pics

BRADLEY BEACH: I love that being part of the Yelp Elite squad introduces me to new places and…read moreexperiences and that a lot of them are dog friendly! The Elite Experience at Fins Bradley Beach was no different and enjoying a complimentary pumpkin pie smoothie was the best way to spend a late October day at the beach. The smoothie was a perfect blend of pumpkin flavor and I ordered mine with coconut milk, since I need to be dairy free. I love that they have that as an option. Even with coconut milk, the smoothie was SO CREAMY and really hit my thirsty mouth and hungry tummy spot. We'll be on the lookout for other seasonal flavors and will enjoy their classics. Everything is made fresh so they can be very accommodating on any modifications to your order. I am a very picky eater and a self-confessed worst vegan because I dislike many main vegan veggie fillers. Fins' veggie option is not pre-mixed, so if you do not like something, they can easily omit it from your order. It was so easy! The staff is extremely friendly and I was able to order inside with my dog and then enjoy the pumpkin pie smoothie and mexicali burrito at their outdoor tables, where leashed and friendly dogs are allowed. The storefront is right on Main Street and Brie said hello to every passerby in the area, but it can be a bit noisy due to traffic! We appreciate the staff bringing out a cup of water for her too! The restaurant has a great atmosphere with bright colors, island-style music, and they serve up surf-inspired food in a casual environment, all while being wallet-friendly. Burritos, tacos, salads, wraps, a special gluten-free menu, smoothies, and they even offer catering! They use the freshest and finest ingredients and care about the planet with biodegradable products, and also care about the community through donations. During the 30 minutes spending time here, the amount of customers walking-in blew my mind. This place is popular and for good reason! We plan to visit their other locations in Point Pleasant and Sea Girt.
