There are multiple outlets of Surf Style on Clearwater Beach ~ you can practice surfing at the South Beach location and that location (near the Wyndham) includes groceries. This location gets five stars because it is excellently what it is ~ and for Shelby, the henna artist! Shelby is fantastic!! Personable and polite and engaging ~ as well as a talented artist. There were four of us and all of us are thrilled with her handiwork!! We've done henna tattoos before but Shelby's work was just stellar!! Highly recommend! The rest of the store contains everything you might want, need, or find intriguing for a day at the beach. People are nice and helpful. read more

The worst store you could possibly shop at whe it comes to employee professionalism. A bunch of nitwits working in there that actually need to be fired every single one of them!!! I tried to exchange an item for the exact same item same price, i only needed a different size. But because I didn't have my receipt on hand, they put me through such an interrogation, it was completely disgusting. I showed them proof of purchase on my phone, my bank statement that i had purchased it, and they still weren't satisfied!!! This company sucks!!! I hope they close their doors permanently someday. They do not deserve to be in business at all with such low class of employees they have working there. Shame on you Surf Style. read more

This place is cool, the price is the same as other place. All the employees were really nice except the manager E that will stare you down and try to argue you back when I need to help with something. She is rude. read more

Review #16 Close to Pier 60. Stopped in to get a Souvenir and boy do they have a lot of stuff. Huge store. Lots deals but nothing super cheap. Shirts, magnets, bathing suits, sunscreen, shells, Yeti stuff, flip flops. All in one stop shop. Yo can probably find cheaper deals somewhere else, but fun to look around. read more

Surf Style 110: Surf, Swimwear, Sporting Goods in Clearwater - Swimwear Near Me - Clearwater Beach, Florida

my aunt and I went into this store (April 9th 20234) and their hermit crab section was absolutely disgusting. Their food Hasn't been changed for so long there was mold and nats on it, and you can tell none of the crabs were healthy. read more

Stopped in to browse while walking around the beach walk. Huge store and friendly staff. Nice selection of Clearwater beach branded items and souvenirs. Also has swimsuits, clothing and boogie boards. We spent a good amount of time just walking around. Great shop to visit if you're looking for taking things back as souvenirs from your vacation. read more

I was recently in Surf Style #110 in Clearwater. I purchased a number of T-shirts, stickers, and magnets from this location. Cool atmosphere. Great products. Decent prices. Courteous, professional, and helpful workers. read more

This store I noticed was different than the one closer to our hotel.seemed like it was a lil bit pricey here. But they have all your beach items here that you need, including beer n snacks. The shirts seemed to be not really nuthin special kinda cheap. But it has your basic items for all your needs. read more

All of the staff are wearing a mask but with their nose out. Social distancing signs are posted everywhere but not being done. You can take a ton of items you plan to purchase to the counter and ask to use a restroom and told no. Prices are definitely tourist prices. Huge selection. The store is clean and organized. read more

Store was okay but kind of messy. I bought a few shirts and so did my sister. On our way back to gainesville my sister realized they left the security tag on the shirt. It's an ink anti theft tag so if we try to break it off it'll ruin the shirt. or we ruin it by cutting the tag off. either way if you purchase something here, make sure they take the security tag off. It won't beep on the way out the door. read more

This is actually a review for their main business but I could not change their location. It is a great tourist shop with every piece of Clearwater memorabilia you would want or need. It also has a grocery store inside and the prices are identical to those of normal chain grocery stores. Florida and Pinellas county are expensive and these prices are legit. Finally they have a large parking garage. If you buy something here they will take $4 off your parking bill. Just remember your parking ticket. read more

This store has been around a long time. I had no idea it was still open. It is a huge store with lots to choose from so whether you need new flips or a suit or a jacket they have something for you. Prices are reasonable given you are on the beach. They also offer trinkets such as magnets and pens. A super annoying song plays on repeat so I couldn't stay long as it was driving me bonkers. We did not find anything to buy this time but they did have some decent buys. Some sales on items they are wanting to get rid of. I can't speak as to the customer service as they did not greet us, ask if we needed help finding anything or even look at us. read more

It's an ok souvenir shop. I checked into the wrong location, so be sure you go to the Surf Style that has the indoor surf ride - that's the only draw for Surf Style. I think my friends paid $20 for 30 minutes to ride the indoor waves and it's great entertainment. People of all ages gave this ride a go and there was never a dull moment. Be sure to check out the surf ride! read more

One of the cashiers had an attitude that they really need to fix. My mom and I were buying clothes and the cashier was taking a long time. The cashier didn't even have a smile on his face he had a lot of attitude. read more

Bunch of idiots that work there, including the so-called "manager" charged us the wrong price three times, didn't give us the buy two get one free promotion, idiot girl at register told us it was our fault that their item was marked lower than their price on this pos system and refused to honor the price, gave us a nasty attitude and said we could talk to her manager. Manager came wasn't helpful in the slightest. I would've fired all of them for their rude behavior and incompetence if I was the owner. Good thing they don't work for me. Awful customer service. Only reason they are still open is because they have prime location. Overpriced wholesale items. All three people at the register were just focused on talking to each other in Spanish. read more

Great deals? Check! Good selection? Check! Rude, flippant and disinterested employees? Check! Want your credit card tossed back at you instead of handed to you? You've come to the right place!!! Holy crap, the people here suck. Too bad too, because they have some great deals. read more

Horrible customer service Came in with my family today just to check the store out and found a great deal on shirts. "Buy 2 and get 1 free", as I'm picking out my third shirt an employee starts changing the sale signs to "Buy 3 get 1 free". So I asked if they would honour the first sale price and the employee rudely said "no, that deal is over". I asked to speak to the manager just to find out that the employee changing the sign was the manager. Horrible customer service. read more

Bad customer service and over priced junk meant for tourists. This is also one of the dirties stores on the beach.

Employees are disrespectful. They are just standing around in front of registers and letting one person do all the job. I know because I went 2 different occasions while I was on vacation and it was the same. read more

This store has a lot of cool little touristy items. Huge selection of T-shirts and other beach wear. I got this really cute beach cover-up dress. Prices are fair. There are also three stores on the island, which makes it easy to find one. I will definitely go back! read more

Whether they should get 1 or 2 stars is a disagreement between my wife and I: she thinks 1, I think 2, so they get a 1. The store is quite overpriced, although that comes with the territory. If you need a swim suit, however, they do have some, and you can buy one (hence I think two stars). That's about where the good ends. We stood in lines, and then had the audacity to return an item. They gave us a gift card (although we had a receipt) which took them 15 minutes to issue. When we returned to the store 4 days later to use the gift card, they said they cannot take it, after fumbling with the reader for a while and told us there is nothing they can do. That's really what the 1 star is for, total lack of adequate customer service. I do not plan on returning. read more

My family has been there several times for the flowrider. Our last experience was terrible due to poor management. They let a local hog the ride time and skip the line several times and even rush our turn. I was shocked that they didn't care or offer to make it right. read more

I've been here before and didn't have a problem but came here with my family and was completely annoyed. Why are there clothes in clearance when not on sale??? They should have more people working especially being on a board walk in Clearwater. The line for the register was long and moved very slowly. I like there clothes but the service I thought was not okay. read more

Today I had the rudest most unprofessional employee come up to me. I went into the shop to buy some gifts for family and friends. Unfortunately I had dropped a glass container on the floor and it broke. ( because their shelves are over stocked and it's real easy to break items) I waited a bit to see if an employee would pop around the corner to see what broke due to the sound being so loud. But nothing. So I grabbed a new one and went up to the register just around the isle to check out and inform the cashier of what happened. the cashier was dealing with a customer so I was waiting in line when this rude employee Amilya rushed past me with the rudest attitude stating " if your going to break something you need to tell someone next time" well first off I was going to tell someone but I'm not going be rude and cut the cashier off from helping another customer. This employee had no reason to talk to me with that tone. First off if you did see me break it why didn't you just come up to me in the aisle and ask me what happened when I was standing there. Second the bitch wasn't even in uniform so how was I supposed to know she worked there. As she continued to walk away from me as I questioned her, who she thought she was talking to the cashier asked politely would you like me to get a manager. I said yes Due to the employee not turning around to acknowledge me. Then it just got even better, here comes another little child that looks no older than 21 barely in uniform as well walking up in some spandex's. As I'm talking to her she has no regard to how upset myself and my family got with this employee. After explaining the issues all she did was say ok I understand and then went to walk to the employee which I'm sure she didn't say much to her about her unprofessionalism. I think higher management should look into how these employees in the store are treating customers that are coming in spending money. I definitely would recommend that higher management review this Amilya employee's performance and retrain her in how to communicate professionally with the customers. If they want to continue to have happy customers in their establishment. . I will also add maybe they should adjust their shelving displays so items won't break , because it is very easy for things to fall when taking it off the shelf.. I'm very disappointed in how I was treated and this needs to be addressed. read more
