They answered any questions I had and helped me choose the best excursion for my trip. Our tour guide was Ricky, he was very knowledgeable of the island and was super nice. He kept us entertained on the ride to the rainforest by giving us information on things we passed on the way. Although the hike itself was pretty short due to covid and paths still being closed after Hurricane Maria, we still enjoyed a nice walk in the rainforest to the river. The river was absolutely stunning, the water was so clear and the swim was refreshing. Everyone felt comfortable enough to take a leap off of the platform into the river as well as a swing on the rope. Overall, we had an excellent time and would definitely book again!

All of our family is new to salsa and Steven did a great job making us feel at ease. He was patient and taught us the steps in a way we could understand them and had us laughing the entire time. The music was amazing and we learned all the basics of salsa! By the end of the class, we were all dancing on our own and felt confident in what we learned. Marlon drove us there in comfort, showed us how to do all the water adventures safely, and cut up fresh fruit for us to snack on. It was a perfect day! Our cave adventure day with Nani was amazing! She was fun, knowledgeable, and helped keep us safe while climbing through caves and jumping into the ocean from a bluff. The combination of adventure and safety was perfect, and she was lively and energetic throughout the tour. We all had a blast!

We did the El Yunque/Bio Bay excursion. The tour guide, Debbie, was very nice and did a great job…read more Since this excursion combines two tours into one, it's a long day (12 hours total) but we preferred to do it that way. El Yunque- the bus drives up to the tower that overlooks the rain forest and has beautiful views of the island. Then we went to the waterfall for photos and then a brief hike (15 mins each way) to a beautiful river where you can either swim or relax by the rocks. There is not very much "hiking" except to the river, so you basically get the benefits of the view without all of the hard work! There's a pit stop before the Bio Bay excursion where you have about 1.5 hours to grab dinner or relax on the beach. Bio Bay- this tour is led by a separate company, but Fine Line still covers transportation to and from the excursion. One piece of advice would be to bring some dry clothes to quickly change into after the tour. While we all had swimsuits on and towels to wrap up in, it was a cold/wet hour-long ride back to the hotels.

Since I don't drink alcohol, I was really appreciative that there was a mocktail or juice option at each stop. I also thought it was huge that they chose to support the family owned spots on this tour. Everything was good, but my favorite was definitely the pernil with rice and beans. Other members of the tour were friendly, and it was nice that Lorna had us all introduce ourselves at the beginning to break the ice. I would definitely recommend the sunset food tour to anyone visiting old San Juan for the first time who wants authentic food with a side of history!
