Our flight landed just before midnight, and Sammy was already nearby waiting for us when we arrived. He was a great driver, friendly, professional, and reliable. We'll definitely be using Central Coast Taxi again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable transportation in the area!

I frantically looked for taxis and came across Central Coast Taxi. Julie answered the phone and immediately put my mind to rest. She also provided helpful guidance on what we need to do to ensure SLO airport had a rental ready for us. She got to us on time and drove us to SLO airport. She went over and above to take us to the rental car pick up location after we got the car keys. Highly recommend Julie from Central Coast Taxi- She was punctual, kind and very knowledgeable. The cost was very reasonable too.

Completely unreliable and just awful…read more I made reservations well in advance for NYE 2014 to and from the party I was going to, and not only were they so late for the initial pickup that I had to schedule alternate transportation (once again, Uber proved to be far more reliable than a cab), they also completely flaked on picking me up after the party so I had to find another ride home afterwards as well. I was at the specified location 5 minutes before the scheduled pickup time in both cases. For the ride home after the party, I got two missed calls from a restricted number over 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. (I was on the dance floor, of course.) So I had to guess that it was the cab company that had called. I called them back and was told the cab was coming around the corner. So I waited... and waited... and waited... and no cab. I tried calling them again and couldn't even reach anyone. Finally I had to flag down some friends to get a ride home with. Really disappointing. I was counting on having a safe ride home since I scheduled it well in advance, but apparently that isn't something they care about or honor. I'll be sure to let the company that referred me know about this issue.

She was on time, but also flexible when she needed to be. She had to navigate Highway 41, a notoriously treacherous stretch of road with 15 MPH hairpin turns. My 85 year old mother, not one to randomly shower praise, said, "Taffy was outstanding. Friendly and concerned about our comfort, helping us get on the shuttle and offering us cold water. Best part, she made the ride very comfortable. She was very cautious and reduced speed considerably on the windy parts of the road - we did not feel like we had to hang on to something keep from slipping around in our seats. If you ever need to hire a shuttle again, I would request Taffy as the driver." I only wish my mother spoke as highly of me. In a nutshell, the service we received from SLO Safe Ride was outstanding and I would not hesitate to recommend engaging your organization to anyone in need of transportation services.
