What a great experience with this company. They gave us a quote and date of when to expect them and they did the job much sooner than initially quoted. A pleasant surprise. The crew was awesome. They worked so hard and did a great job and I can't believe it's the same patio/walkway. They removed bricks and fixed the low spots, rebuilt the front porch with the same bricks and then power washed and sealed it. It looks fantastic. After getting several estimates for our front walkway and porch we decided to go with Sure Seal after having observed them working on our neighbors porch last year. They weren't the lowest price, but seemed to be the most fair and reputable. Jim Urgo is a "no nonsense" owner and his team of hard working professionals do an amazing and thorough job. I was referred to Sure Seal from my landscaper to repair and clean my paver driveway. I contacted Sure Seal and Jim came out within one day to provide an estimate. I signed a contract on the spot and issued a partial payment. Unfortunately I needed to cancel the service due to an unforeseen circumstance, and Jim politely accepted my cancellation and issued a refund of my deposit within 24 hours. I have a large brick paver patio that is approximately 20 years old and was in need of repairs, cleaning and sealing. Contacted Sure Seal and they were out within 2 days to look over the job and provided an estimate. I had several questions which were answered immediately. The crew was professional and efficient. They repaired areas larger than I thought they would and ensured that the job site was cleaned upon completion. I usually do not write reviews but after the last step I felt it was needed. Several weeks after the job was completed, I noticed a large area of grass in the front yard was dead. It was the area in which the truck and equipment was being stored. i contacted Jim and within 1 day he responded requesting I send him some pictures. Three days later, in the morning, there was a Sure Seal crew ripping up the dead grass and replacing the damaged area with new sod. What else can I say! read more

Referred to Sure Seal by my landscaper. Had my patio installed about 4-1/2 years ago and my pavers and coping looked like they needed to be cared for. Initially, I thought this could be a project I could have done myself, but I don't think I could have done this project well. Sure seal got the job done in 2 days and did a great job of cleaning the patio and re-sealing it. They spend several hours during those days so I know they did a thorough job. They also took some additional time to get a few small areas of my patio looking great by fixing some coping that needed to be re-glued and caulked. I appreciate the effort. I contacted SureSeal to follow up on service I had them do the summer of 2017. They were very responsive to my needs and did the necessary work very quickly. A few days later I noticed that most of my grass surrounding my driveway and walkways had begun to die from the grass killer they used. The owner came out to review the damage and offered to replace with new sod. All is good so far. The sod replacement was so poorly executed that I had to have my landscaper reinstall. I contacted Jim the owner multiple times and left voice mails but he did not contact me. I guess I am eating the cost of the reinstall. After this episode I cannot recommend any more. read more

This is my FIRST yelp review I've ever left. I'm a forgive and forget type person and don't get too caught up in negative experiences. This one has me irritated. I got Sure Seal's contact info from Unilock. I called them to schedule our brick patio to be sealed. I was scheduled "about 5 weeks out" and had to leave a 50% deposit which was around $1000. I wasn't overly thrilled to pay $1000 5 weeks prior to a service but apparently they require it. Weeks passed and I called (Monday) thinking I could get an update on our service date. It's summer and we have an Intex pool set out on the patio for the kids. Shelia told me her husband Jim would be looking at the schedule the following day (Tuesday) and she would get back to me. At this point I really have no idea if it's even at the 5 week mark or not. Wednesday morning two guys show up to do the patio. Since there was a 12 ft pool still on it, my husband said there had to have been a mix up and we would have to reschedule. The guys called their boss Jim to talk with my husband. The guy was a complete jerk saying that we were burning his money by not letting his guys do our patio and his wife dropped the ball (meaning me). Apparently they had left a message at 6pm Tuesday night. Obviously I didn't get the message that was less than 12 hours before they showed up. Who gives less than a 12 hr notice when service was scheduled 5 weeks prior with no actual date given or confirmation? The patio would be not useable for at least 2 days while they seal it. What if we had a party planned or a pool out?! Meanwhile the service guys smoking on my patio with my kids running around. How unprofessional! My husband was shocked at how this owner, Jim spoke to him on the phone. Being business owners ourselves, I can't imagine the way they talk with their customers. I later experienced that myself with Shelia informing me they would only refund less $200 for a cancellation fee. I ended up just hanging up after she continued to be argumentative and defensive. Although I think it's a shady business move, the $200 just isn't worth my time with people that clearly lack some customer service skills. And although I do not believe the customer is always right, I do believe customers should be treated fairly and not cheated out of $200. They can have the $200 and this review. read more

First time I ever done this, but my review is based solely on receiving NO service! I found out about this company when I sitting in traffic on an expressway behind their truck. Our brick paver driveway is a mess and I have been trying to find someone to FIX it vs being told it would have to be pulled out and started new. I mean, what?!? So I went to the website and filled out the "Contact Us" page. Weeks passed and I heard nothing. On June 19 I called and spoke to Sheila. She was extremely apologetic about no one replying to the website inquiry. She said it was a busy time of year, but someone would be out in 2-3 weeks to give me an estimate. Nothing. I called on August 25 and left a voice mail, again explaining I am looking for a "lift, level, clean and seal" quote. Today is September 7 and I have heard nothing. I don't know. Maybe they are THAT busy that they just don't need the work. Whatever the reason, I am really disappointed. read more

My 16 year old brick paver (Unilock) walkway has been uneven and my patio falling apart. I finally decided to get it fixed and boy did I luck out by finding Sure Seal. I received an estimate in a timely fashion and the owner, Jim, answered all of my questions. Although it was not the lowest estimate I received, it was half of the highest (who told me I needed to replace all of the bricks). Sure Seal's crew worked for two days, and I don't know how they did it, but the walkway and patio look absolutely fantastic - almost brand-new looking. The results far exceeded my expectations.
