This is a legit store, and has all the classic things you would find at an Italian deli! Several choices of meats, fresh mozzarella, olives and more! I sadly don't get to come here much since it's in Florida near where my parents live. But I can understand why they love it so Much! The whole staff is very friendly and seem to recognize what their regular customers order frequently. I used to go there for the Italian sausage, but the hard casings have turned me off. They must not be soaking and rinsing the casing of salt. Salt makes the casing tough. read more

I was in here around the holidays and the place was packed. Looking for a turkey and they didn't have any. Today I was craving a good steak and didn't want to go out for dinner. I purchased two of the finest looking 2" NY Strips I've ever seen. I was prepared to "bake" the steaks according to a very popular recipe online. Mind you, this is not your Publix steak. I also made a hearty salad with bleu cheese, raisins and nuts served with a glass of red wine. I have to tell you it's been a very long time since I've had a better cut of meat cooked to perfection. Time for you to visit and you will be amazed at the wall full of frozen prepared meals in house. They also have canned goods from Italy and this goes on and on, you just need to visit and see for yourself. I was overwhelmed and really need to return and try something new each visit. Very disappointed with the veal. Must have been frozen for over a year. Cooked my recipe that I always use and this meat never got tender to falling off the bone. Just not a good cut and amazing that the large piece of veal was $16 per pound then they found two shanks and price was $18. Prices are high and I would t mind if it was good. I bought their fresh mozzarella and found it to be very salty and extremely rubbery unedible. I am used to going to Carmines in Palm Beach Gardens, supreme meats cannot even come close to the quality and variety If you don t believe me go see for yourself it is a real Italian market. check out their website. read more

We were told by family that live in Stuart that we should visit Supreme Meat. Wow, a meat lover's paradise... the meats were fresh and delicious looking. I was happy to find that they sold Garofalo pasta from Italy. I could not leave this store without purchasing the biggest Arancini I have ever seen for sale in the USA. Arancini are stuffed rice balls that are coated with breadcrumbs, filled with ragù, tomato sauce, mozzarella, and peas. We went right home, and I ate the Arancini for lunch. It was beyond delicious. We were so glad that we took the time to visit. read more

Drove an hour from Portico's Bakery where I buy the best bread on Florida's east coast, to find that this place looked like another winner. Though it all looked good, the prices were too high for me. We wound up leaving without buying so much as a slice of cheese. An excellent NY style Italian meat market. Don't go there if you are hungry, you will want to buy everything in sight. While I have tried everything at one time or another my favorites are the veal which is probably the best I have ever had and the thin sausage with parsley and cheese that comes in a spiral. The Italian specialties are also terrific. Definitely worth a visit. read more

I wish that I could give this place zero stars, but zero is not an option on yelp. Do not allow yourself to be misinformed by people who have given this establishment a good review. I was in their store on Saturday, 02/26/22. They are ridiculously overpriced; and this writer lived in NYC for decades until 2 years ago. It has the most expensive prices I have seen for a market and I have shopped in well known gourmet grocery stores in Manhattan. I purchased roasted vegetables and was charged $19 for what may have amounted to a little over a pound. These were the type of veggies one could purchase for $5-6/pound in any grocery store or deli type store in NYC. I stored them in my refrigerator and discovered that they were spoiled when I attempted to eat some the following day. I also purchased outrageously priced pecorino romano. I was so looking forward to finding an Italian market in this area after shopping in Little Italy on Arthur Ave in the Bronx and in Manhattan's Little Italy for so many years. Carona virus brings out the best and worst in people. We have been a long time customers of this store and the meats were always good but expensive. But now they are adding more FAT to their sausage and chop meats to save money and to keep their counters full. Also the curtesy of the counter people has never been good but know it has worsened. We have cooked these meats for years and they tell us THATS THE WAY IT IS. We have told numerous people who shop there I hope they tell them to stop adding fillers. read more

This review is not about the taste of the steaks at all. My husband went to buy steak for us and asked if they had organic, grass-fed beef and the response he got was "of course, it's certified Black Angus". He sold him the steak. Not sure if he didn't understand or was trying to bamboozle him, but that is not the same. The type of steak does indicate how it was raised. read more

Nice meat selection, for sure. A carnivore's dream. Steaks, ribs, sausage (homemade) - whatever you want, you'll find it here - along with plenty of food for people like me! No, not just cannoli. OK, that helps but other dishes for me to choose from. Frozen dinners that you just need to defrost and heat later. Baked Ziti, chicken parm, mussels, clams, fresh mozz, fried mozz, eggplant parm - too many to list. I had the eggplant parm and it was dynamite. I really wasn't expecting a frozen meal to be so tasty. The eggplant was sliced thin and cooked to perfection. Wonderful. My bf had a NY strip steak and so did our friend and they said it was the best meat they've had outside of a restaurant. After being disappointed with the quality of Italian restaurants after moving from NY thought I'd try ready made from this place. The Stuffed shells 6 of them were ok and overpriced. The sauce was better than most they were out in the container upside down, so after cooking and taking them out they all fell apart. The eggplant parm was terrible. It was typical way everyone does eggplant in FLA cut so thin like cold cuts. Not breaded with bread crumbs so it is soft and disgusting and mushy. Cut in this strips just not appetizing and horrible consistency. I guess we were spoiled in Ny they are cut 1/4in. breaded in crumbs and fried, then baked and layered with parm,mozzarella and sauce like Lasagna. All of these restaurants that claim to be from NY really do not know how to cook Italian or are catering to people that have never had good Italian food cooked properly, The sauce on the eggplant tasted like tomato paste no seasonings. Really wanted this to be good and did ask questions and were rushed out of store they were more interested in closing. read more

This place is incredible. Unfortunately, the name doesn't do it justice. It took us living here for six years to discover it because nothing about the name of the place, located in another ubiquitous strip mall off Federal Highway would have brought us in the door. We're of Italian heritage, love good Italian food and all the time bemoaned the lack of a good Italian deli here. Yet, a superb one was here all along, we just didn't know. Since discovering Supreme Meats, we've eaten from there at least a few nights a week. Their homemade chicken breast sausages are phenomenal. Their soups, lentil, minestrone, pasta fagioli and escarole and beans are great. Their chicken cutlets are just great. We normally don't eat meals prepared by someone else, but tried their eggplant parmigiana and it was excellent. They even carry cheeses from probably the best Italian deli in CT, Liuzzi's. What a find. I only wish we found it years earlier. I recommend a slight change to the name: Supreme Meats authentic Italian deli. read more
