This is an old school, mom and pop type of place. Hand-written FYI signs everywhere, a mix of homemade items and Italian grocery specialties, and the guys that run it are very NY and great! In addition to our most frequently purchased cut (brisket for our smoker!) we also LOVE their homemade garlic marinated mozzarella. These are the smaller mozz balls and they're kept in garlic oil that could keep every vampire away from you. They have some anti-pasta items as well as canned/jarred goods, and even fun Italian sodas. Lots of freezer food too- prepared foods like dinners and soups (think Italian!) and also some frozen meat products. I don't think their prices are cheap (we wouldn't shop here weekly for meat), but I do feel like we get quality product always. We also like to call ahead to ensure they have what we want. Last week, we decided we wanted to make those amazing beef "dinosaur" ribs. We tried Costco, Fresh Market, and a few other places but Supreme Meats reigned supreme with their product.

I have shopped here many times and have been extremely satisfied with every purchase. The ground…read morebeef actually taste like ground beef with no pink slime when cooking it. It cost a little more for quality black Angus beef but we'll worth it. They custom cut for me and that's hard to find now a days. Try it, you won't be disappointed

I've seen the signs for years but was never really in a position to stop and actually go food shopping. Well, today was the day. We ended up visiting two places, including Mia's Italian Market, to try out a few different Italian options. It's located in a shopping plaza that's easy to spot while driving by, and parking was simple enough. When you walk in, there's a display case of prepared foods to the left, and shelves on the right stocked with various Italian specialty items. Oddly enough--but kind of cool--there's also a seating area tucked behind the shelving if you want to order food and hang out there. You have the option to pick up prepared foods to heat up at home, or you can order them hot at the counter and enjoy them at one of the tables. I usually like to mention when it's my first time visiting a place, just in case they have some recommendations or a popular dish they like to push on new customers. I'm always intrigued--especially when it comes to amazing Italian food from someone who grew up in an Italian family. But instead, he asked me where I normally go... which was a little awkward. Honestly, I go wherever is convenient. I prefer cooking about 95% of the time, so buying premade food from anywhere is pretty rare for me. That said, would I come back? Absolutely. I noticed a few other items that caught my eye, but I didn't want to go too crazy buying a ton of things all at once. Luckily I don't live far, so it's not completely out of the way for a return trip.

We tried three different sandwiches, including the alla vodka parm and a traditional Italian, and every single one was incredible. Everything tasted super fresh--from the crisp veggies to the freshly sliced meats and bread--and the portions were massive. Beyond the sandwiches, they have a huge selection of pastas, dinner options, and authentic Italian desserts. The fresh cannolis and pastries really put it over the top. Whether you're Italian and craving that authentic, homemade feel or just a foodie who loves great Italian food/ sandwiches this spot is an absolute must-visit.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the guys behind the counter with their thick New York accents--it instantly sets the tone. The selection is incredible, with everything from large balls of freshly made mozzarella to eggplant, rice balls, and so many other classic Italian favorites. They do offer subs, but one of the best parts is being able to build your own at home--they'll happily slice up a pound of whatever cold cuts you choose. I was also pleasantly surprised to find imported olive oil straight from Sicily for $25, which I couldn't pass up. Fair warning: it's very easy to get carried away here. Just standing there, taking in all the options, you'll likely walk out with way more than you planned--but it's completely worth it. I ended up making my own sandwich using homemade sourdough from a local shop down the street, and the combination was perfect. Supporting locally owned businesses like this makes the experience even better. You get quality, authenticity, and real ingredients--something you just don't find with big chain stores. Shop local--you won't regret it.
