This review is in addition to a review I wrote about a different job Platinum Plumbing did for me…read more After 7 years or so I once again called on Platinum Plumbing for a project. Replace the first floor baseboard with high output baseboard. Peter measured the job up and returned with Christian another day to complete the work. I admit I was impressed with the concern that was paid to how each peice was installed. A level and tape measure was used on each peice of baseboard to insure that when completed the entire run was the same height and on the same plain. Each cover was trimmed if needed so it fit together properly. When they were done they cleaned up after themselves and even helped me put my things back, which they didn't have to do. I could say I'm happy with the work they did and leave it there. The truth is I'm really impressed with the work did, it came out more beautiful than I hoped. They showed more attention to detail than they had to, and the price was very competitive. Its been 7 years and Pete is still doing really prideful work. I highly recommend you give this company a chance to work at your home or business. Im certain you're going to be impressed with the end result. Henry.

I had two problems that needed to be addressed. I had a fairly new toilet that hadn't been set…read moreproperly and was moving around the floor and leaking. Also, the cold water stopped working in my shower, making the shower unusable. I lost my husband this year and am never sure about what to do when things go wrong in the house, since I never had to address those problems in the past. I called 1-Tom and they made me feel completely confident about my choice. Right from the start, I liked the fact that they answered the phone and I didn't have to keep pushing buttons to get to the right person. I was told that they stood behind all their work and they would make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. Before Alex came to my home, I received a photo of him. He was confident and friendly and I immediately felt I was in good hands. Originally it looked like it was going to be a bad situation with the toilet and that the floor might have to be torn up. Alex showed me what the problem was and I could now see why the toilet couldn't be installed correctly in the first place. Alex called his boss and discussed what needed to be done. He was able to do it without damaging the floor, which was a huge relief. I trusted that 1-Tom did the best job possible for me while avoiding major repairs. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to my friends.

This was astronomically high in our opinion. We got another plumber to look at it and he fixed the leak within 30 minutes and it only cost us $350. HUGE price difference! Companies like Plumbwell seem to be in the business of up selling and price gouging. Needless to say, we will not be calling them ever again. The only positive thing about this company would be the secretaries who answer the phones. Quite lovely people.

I usually do not fill out reviews but this one was warranted. Let me start off by saying that I…read moredon't Usually trust plumbing as they are usually high priced and will do anything to sell the job. Not the case with D and L plumbing. I had purchased my house a few years ago from a flip company. They never installed a drain hole for the washing machine. I was referred to D and L plumbing by a friend. I figured what risk is there if I just call for a quote. Right from the start I could tell this was going to be a better experience than I had dealt with in the past. He had me explain the issue and said he would be over the next day to asses it. He showed up right when he said he would and I showed him the lack of drain and showed him the crawl space so he can see where the drain should have been. He went into the crawl space and walked right over to where the drain should have been and said. " you actually already have a drain here it's just blocked". I was stunned. He went back up stairs and removed the blockage and put the washer drain hose into the drain inlet. I started the washer reluctantly but he assured me it would be fine. lo and behold , the washer started to drain with no issues. I was in awe of what just happened. Remember when I said I don't trust plumbers. I had had 2 quotes for $1500 and $1800 to " add a drain ". Now I am no plumber by any means and I am very uneducated regarding the whole plumbing process. I had thought that since I had gotten 2 quotes that were similar in price, this must be what it is going to cost. Goes to show you how honest and forthcoming this company really is. He was willing to lose the " job " and do the right thing and perform a simple fix. That is how you know a company will do the right thing by the customer and keep you in the loop the whole process. D and L plumbing is now my recommendation to anyone that needs a plumber for big or small jobs and I will be spreading the word to family and friends.
