(IYKYK) and thought the new tires I had put on it in Texas had resolved it. We moved to Kansas City and brought the jeep with us on a car hauler. When I unloaded it and started home, guess what was back?! We found Howard Automotive on line and took it there for the "wobble" and some fixing up. They repaired the jeep, within $9 of the estimate and three days sooner than we were told. Great job, great service, great team!

DO NOT GO TO SMETHERS AUTO!!!! THIS MAN IS ROBBING YOU!!!!! HE IS A CROOK!!…read more If Yelp had zero star ratings that's what I would give this. So I have a old vehicle it begins to stop when it's driving the fuel pump is bad on it so I was highly recommended to Ed. I was told that he could fix my vehicle for a cheaper price most mechanics would charge. Ed also knew about this vehicle. I called him up and talked to him about the fuel pump situation and how much it would cost for everything. He told me that he doesn't want to work on my old pickup and that he usually doesn't work on older vehicles. Later I looked on his facebook page and most the posts are older vehicles actually ones older than mine. I told him that all you have to do is check the fuel pressure. He said well that might not fix the problem and that he couldn't guarantee that was the problem. For a mechanic to not be curtain on things like that then that tells me that they have poor business and that they aren't trustworthy. I don't want a mechanic that is trash to fix my car so he can rip me off and mess more things up on it. I would never take my car to this man!! To be honest If he was the last mechanic on earth I wouldn't take my car to him. He is very rude and was disrespectful I treated him with kindness and respect and he was disrespectful! The vehicle was on his property and I told him that I will probably get it tonight he then responded "no probably to it get it off my property!!" He then began to tell me that I bought a money pit that if we took it to him that he would replace part after part. He also told me that he doesn't want to do business with me because I haven't known him for a long time and that he doesn't want to be the "bad guy". I've talked to many mechanics and every mechanic I have talked to has always wanted a new customer. When I was talking to him he seemed very sketchy very rude and disrespectful the old man is not getting my business and never will. I have read the reviews about this auto shop I understand he is highly rated but I'm sorry to tell you guys this but this old man is ripping you off. He is called a parts replacer all he does is replaces your parts for you and then a month or so later you're gonna have more problems with your vehicle. I would recommend going to someone that knows what they are doing and not a crook like him.

You can find it at Eagle Valley. I have had several cars now with lots of different issues and they did a great job. They called and kept me apprised of the progress along the way. When we ran into an issue on an older car, they helped me talk through the costs and helped decide if worth doing or not. I appreciate that they took the time to save me the money and the headache. No pressure team to help you, knowledgable to be able to solve many problems, up front if they cannot or it is not worth it. You should give them a try.

Absolutely the biggest regret taking my car here. Had baron bmw service not cleaned up the constant…read morenightmare this place has created, I'm sure this review would've been much more unpleasant than it already is. Allstate is my insurance company of which I had to file the claim on my own policy for an uninsured driver. As if that wasn't bad enough, 2 months of 'working' on literally making it function worse than it went in as, after having it back for 8 months now... I'm still dealing with the extreme lack of common sense, integrity and ACCURACY of their work. They left my bmw for months in the rain when it was t-boned(and very obviously exposed interior could be seen from the outside of the car) that when I got it back, not only did it smell like a dirty foot, the headliner and carpet was so saturated which molded so bad.. it corroded the pedal position sensor to the extent that literally on my way home after FINALLY picking it up, it DIED on the on ramp to the highway. Of course after going and talking to them the next day, they don't know me other than being a female and assuming I'm an airhead and proceed to blame the alternator/battery which after I have been a mechanic and know when that's the case, i let them think I believe their load of crap they are trying to get out of being responsible for and let it go until my inspection results. Nearly $7000 of damage was necessary to replace due to the compromised integrity of the interior. New headliner. Carpet. Pedal position sensor(hilariously no battery or alternator was needed) which thankfully clay, the GM of baron, agreed to the bmw service center fix and replace these issues. If I had an enemy, I'd tell them to take their wrecked car to this place. I write this as I'm irritatingly setting my alarm to wake up early to get another loaner as my car is still having significant electrical issues, ironically ONLY on the side they 'touched'. I can't say the collision center fixed it... I wish I left it as it was when it was hit. It didn't die. My headlights worked, and my insurance company wouldn't have to do extra leg work for what they've found to be mislead or falsified 'line items'(parts they said that were replaced or needed to be replaced which did not. Like my two wheels that they replaced(they are the same ones that came with the car off the assembly line-however they charged my insurance for two new ones- yes the 'advisors' are commission based) amongst many other things. Daniel strain also promised to have this issue fixed in December and sincerely apologized while asking I take down my review. Which I was a fool and 1) believed he would make it right and 2) taking it down. He's impossible to get ahold of. When u can talk to him, be prepared to feel like you're more of an inconvenience than the person at the dmv will make u feel, and by far the most questionable ethics when it comes to his professionalism. If you like your car to run and be treated like trash... come here. They'll even make the inside smell like it for free too! $10,000 regret.
