I knew I wanted to install PPF(Paint Protection Film) on vehicle and I was looking for a shop to do it. Now, I literally called many if not all the shops that advertise that they offer this service - and ended up choosing this shop for many reasons. Received many quotes and I wasn't going to choose the cheapest, just to go for the cheapest - cheap isn't always best especially when they have your vehicle overnight or even a day or two. Now Jon wasn't the cheapest but his quote was comparable to other shops. There was a social media group that had similar vehicles that spoke highly of him(which I appreciate - you don't want to leave your vehicle at a shop and the most expensive vehicle they've had is a Prius). I did end up choosing him for other reasons, though. The other shops gave me pause for many reasons - some were hesitant with doing paint correction, some shops were a 1/3 of the price more expensive, some didn't even do the PPF in-house - they had to schedule with the 'PPF guy' and then get back with me to see when his schedule was available. Now there were a few local tint shops that did PPF - but I didn't feel comfortable having a shop whose primary purpose is tint do my paint correction. With Jon - he did it all - only person he had to check with was himself. Given that Jon does it all - I've seen a few posts stating that he is hard to get a hold of. Never really had any issues of getting a hold of him - but at the time he is a one man show. No secretary and nobody answering his calls. But, I feel, without those overhead costs he is able to return those savings back to the customer. Personable and definitely went above and beyond with a few minor things I wanted touched on as well, while applying the PPF. Now he did have his work cut out for him, as the vehicle is two years old - and PPF is normally applied to brand new vehicles straight out of the gate. Yet, I am please with the application and exterior wax he applied has it looking like glass. When it was all said and done - when I inquired about other services - the next quote he gave me was a fraction of other shops - so he's definitely made a return customer.

I waited in the comfortable waiting room which provided free high-speed Wi-Fi. The three ladies at the reception desk were friendly and conscientious about their work. I had a conversation with one of the ladies about how I was getting burned by the sun while driving. She knew exactly what type of film I needed to have applied to my SUV. They had an interesting picture of a truck driver's skin without tint or uv protection. The damage was frightening! I also met the owner, who was also very pleasant and personable. After meeting him it was obvious why the ladies seemed so happy and conscientious about their work . It's a relaxed friendly environment. Dex quoted me for what I asked for but gave me his recommendations as well (which saved me two thousand in unnecessary work). When I dropped off my car, two of the guys came out to review what was being done. Everyone was really nice and professional. I got the impression this is a small team, so you're not going to get a host at a desk waiting on you, but on the flip side, the people you talk to are the people working on your car. Dex sent me updates as needed. I got ceramic tint on my windows and full front paint protection film - took 3 days. Both came with warranties and I got a pamphlet so I could save that info. Ceramic coating, window tinting. The guys he had tint did a great job and the ceramic coating looks fabulous. We found a deep scratch in some trim of my brand new car that had to be replaced (tesla did this for no charge) and he is even coming to my home to put the ceramic coating on the new trim piece. He was great at communication, and even texted to assure me that my car was safe during severe weather/tornado warnings. I will be sending everyone I know his way!

An estimate was given by Maaco on repair work for severe hail damage to our F-150. When we picked…read moreup the truck, the bill was $2,000 more than the estimate. Their excuse was that the cost from Ford was higher, and that it was harder to install the roof than they thought. I understand the cost from Ford, but why didn't they know what was involved to install the roof? They could have looked that up when they made the estimate rather than waiting until it was time to do it. Of course, we had to pay the entire thing before we could pick the truck up. They advertise that they take credit cards, but the truth is that they charge 3%. Also, they cut some type of wires when installing the roof and we had to wait in the lobby for 2 1/2 hours before it was ready. Then we started having problems with messages and found out that they hadn't tightened the battery cables so there were electrical problems. We had to pay our local Ford dealer to figure out the problem. I would never go back to this place. They seemed like they didn't even care that the bill was so much more!
