I started asking questions about this and that and he answered every question with a smile on his face, letting me know his favorites, best sellers, etc. I chose the Cajun pasta with chicken and added shrimp, slice of garlic bread and a big ole piece of chocolate cake, washed down with a Cherry Coke and let me tell you...it was the best meal I've had in Atlanta! This was my first time stopping in here, but I've been to the ATL a bunch through the years, from high end to hole in the wall places, North to South of the city, but I'll be stopping in here again on my next time through. Located about 10 minutes from the airport it was perfect to grab dinner to go on my way to my hotel. The gentleman and I talked travel, food, football as I waited and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation but what I didn't know was his wife was kicking up some of the best Cajun pasta I've ever eaten! Sorry man, she is the star of the show! I had perfectly cooked shrimp, mixed it with a hearty portion of chicken but the Cajun sauce was perfection. I soaked up perfectly with the garlic bread for an incredible feast! Thank you for welcoming me in and making my last meal in ATL memorable. Until next time!

The sausage were andouille sausage, so if not a fan opt out. The lady at the counter was very informative and super sweet, she made us feel welcomed. I'm not a fan of the whole crack n snap of the boil, so I got an order of fried shrimp.. ohhhhh yes, the crunch and flavor on that shrimp was incredible! Fresh and ready to devour. Waited a total of 15 minutes for everything, my aunt absolutely loved her food. It's not a dine in place it gives like little caesar's ambiance (in the nicest way possible), very grab n go!

Unfortunately I had no taste for neither I chose to explore the menu at #SexySeafood. The name alone made me consider. Upon looking it over, the 12pcShrimp and Barramundi plate caught my eye. Sided with hush puppies and coleslaw I just needed to pay additional for a side of fries. No problem! They both arrived with a great presentation of garnish and seasoning. I had called after placing the order to ask for additional condiments and the chef insured me it would be taken care of. My puppies were fried to my liking and I was grateful to have the ketchup for my fries. Most was good but, the slaw had been warped and heated upon delivery. Due to packaging it had been sweating in the same container as the fish & I also wish I've been given the opportunity to purchase an additional piece of Barramundi for my order but everything else was fine. I enjoyed the experience and wish to thank you

To start, my sister and I had the hella good and social cocktails and both were perfectly balanced. We had the mussels which were fantastic and the crabcake was phenomenal! It was seriously the best crab cake I've had in years - and we're from Maryland. The lamb was seasoned well and cooked to a perfect medium rare and the grits were to die for. The lobster fried rice was also super yummy! We also tried the espresso martini and the strawberry pearltini and those were both on point! Honestly, this was the first new restaurant I've tried in awhile where I was impressed by every dish and drink. Bonus is the prices were very reasonable for the quality! We will be back

Eggs and sausage with grits. Grits looked good. One ordered the crab cake, being from Baltimore I don't order crab cakes in ATL. It was good, just like the waiter said, however not MD standard. I'll say this, all crab meat seasoned no green peppers and onions so that was a plus. I might go back and try it again. It's a small restaurant. Music was soft.

In town and wanted to check this place out. No reservations required. We came on a Wednesday night,…read moreno wait, a couple other tables were taken. Unassuming from the outside in a shopping plaza. Felt very safe, plenty of parking. Inside the decor is nice. We were seated immediately. Our server was friendly, professional and answered our questions about the menu. Great conversationalist throughout our dining experience. Gave us insight on different things about the restaurant and what to expect if we come back different nights. There are several different seating areas. While there were no live music the night we were there, the playlist from the music that was playing was amazing! Like I could have come all by myself, sat at the bar and listened to music and been just fine. We really liked that the menu was not huge and overwhelming. Easy to make a selection. While we all liked our food (my husband and two teenagers) there wasn't a wow factor. For the prices, kind of need a wow factor. Although the wings were delicious! And I rarely eat meat. They were fried hard, crunchy and perfectly sauced. Plenty of seafood options. Nice portion sizes. Bummer that there's no dessert on the menu. If we lived here my husband and I would definitely be back for a nice chill spot. Vibes were really good.

10/10 Experience!…read more Last year I dined at their sister restaurant and was very impressed, so I decided to check out Oreatha's. The place is tucked behind where GPS takes you and there is no real parking. The inside is cozy and swank. Gives a 90's vibe. The servers were charming and charismatic. They also suggested all delicious options for us. The chef sent over Thai lettuce wraps and they were divine! The food is a blend of Soul Food and other countries. I absolutely adored and loved that! Started with the collard green hush puppies, jerk duck wings and salmon empanadas. All were beyond amazing! Get the duck wings if you can only have one! I had the Thai catfish and coconut grits for my entree and it did not disappoint. This is the first time in my life that I ate a whole fish. I have never completely eaten one. It was crispy and seasoned well. Did not give off that catfish taste. The grits were surprisingly delightful. Never thought about coconut in grits. My other friend had the oxtail lasagna and she devoured it! The third friend is a picky eater and got the chicken with rice/beans. She loved it. My other friend had the Trini fish and her only complaint was that it wasn't hot enough. She's a native Trini, so she wanted more spice. For dessert we got the croissant bread pudding!! DELICIOUS! I would definitely return and recommend Oretha's!

It's on the side of other buildings like they all share on structure and divided it up, but the interior is much bigger than expected. It kind of felt like a long hallway, but that may be due to how it was pretty empty upon arrival though it got pretty busy once night fell. From what I understand, the menu changes every few months or so. What you see in reviews may not be on the menu when you visit, but don't let that deter you! The food will still be good. They have a good grasp on flavors all around the world, and it's a fancier take on what would otherwise be considered comfort food. At least, that's how I felt ordering the oxtail lasanga. Like, WOW. Beautifully delicious. The tomatoes on the side packed such a punch. Tiny flavor bombs for sure. I really jumped straight to the best thing of the night in my review, but it honestly was everything I wanted once I saw it on the menu. Going back to the beginning though... the apps? Tasty. The salmon empanadas were a little dry, but seasoned well. I believe the (collard green) hushpuppies are a mainstay item, and it's truly for a good reason. Such a classic bite, and it's easily shareable too. For the jerk duck wings, I preferred the mango salad underneath it. The flavor overall wasn't bad, but duck has such a distinct taste that it overpowered the jerk seasoning. The wings weren't spicy either, though the mango had a little bit of a kick. I was a little too focused on my lasagna, but I did try a little of the grilled Moroccan lamb loin (tender) and the suya shrimp jollof pasta (bland, sauce too thin to coat the pasta, but shrimps were so yummy). And we did end with some dessert, which does not disappoint, though it was hard for me to choose.
